Omg! I'm so excited. I just found out that my boss put me on salary now...and i just got my first large paycheck. So...I made this my first model kit purchase. I got the 1/16th Sherman and Jeep as my first 1/16th kits ever. I'm so excited to see more and receive them as soon as they arrive. Thank you so much for putting out such a great product...looking forward to the next big announcement.
Andy you are taking model making stores to a whole new level - The Bricks and mortor shops were closeing all over the world - you give model shops a new lease of life -Thanks
The Sherman looks a great kit. I won't be getting one though. Don't have the room to display it. Also, that paint set you mention is all well and good. But 1 small bottle of Ammo Mig Olive Drab will not be enough to paint this large model. You would probably need about 3 bottles.
The factory diorama is coming along great. Just cannot wait to see all the details you are going to add. A pity I will miss the MBK event, would have been awesome to meet you.
Thank you so much for your inspiration. Just finished my first RT building, not as easy as I thought, lots of sanding. Used mod podge glue and it works great.
Irony… I'm relatively close (Yuma) and financials keep me from a place I know I'd adore! I loved hobby stores since I started rockets and RC airplanes back in the 70s…
Awesome as ever! Still drooling over the 1/16 Sherman…. Just a thought for you in your own model company adventure do you realise that no model company out there produces a 1/16 german WWll half track.. and there are so many to choose from. I do appreciate you must get so many requests for new kits but it’s just a thought. Whatever the case I wish you all the success you deserve in this venture, you have made a lot of modellers very, very happy 🤗🤗🥳🥳
Haven't seen any of the tank kits popping up anywhere in Australia. We really need a distributor here, the exchange rate and shipping from either of the Andy's outlets are just too much.I also want the photo etch sets too.
I had the 1/16 Tamiya Sherman, nice model but would like other 1/16 scale models especially Not German, more early WW2 British tanks and a WW1 British Mk4. If you are visiting the UK stop off at The Tank Museum at Bovington.
MLT fumes are the choice of the classy modeler. He's also probably happy that he's going to be selling a metric shit-ton of these kits world wide. Don't we all want to be Andy on some level?
Great video Andy!!! Imagine if we were committed to bring and creating our own production of high quality models and kits in styrene in the USA!!! Cool video Andy!!
Hey Andy!! There's a RUclips channel called Night Shift. Martin has a wonderful tutorial on painting figures, albeit 1/35, but I'm sure the same rules can apply for 1/16. Have fun in Europe!!!
As allways, great work Andy. Love the way your diorama is coming together. Maybe see you in Germany on the 3th september, it's just a 3 hours drive from where I live.
You’re a great sales guy andy 😉 Just ordered the Sherman and 4x4 and the 50cal sets😜. Can’t wait till it arrives in the Netherlands. Keep up the good work.
Couldn't miss the opportunity to grab the AHHQ-001 Easy 8 Sherman model on pre-order price. Also got the 4x4 and two of each of the 50 cal. gun upgrades. I don't know how I'll explain this to my missus. 😁 Cheers Andy.
Your diorama layout is perfect! I was wondering how you would realistically incorporate the yard railroad tracks and building. Their perfect. I like the tank on the flat car. That was important to have something. It could be steel beams or something else instead. A showstopper for sure.
Hey Andy these are looking great! Got the Sherman and Jeep on order and love the Arber stuff. Just a heads up, the 50 cal ammo set has a modern M2A1 can, not the WWII side flip cover can. Not a deal breaker just to let you know. Going to order a couple of both sets! Great work!
In the end, war is about the people involved. I am happy about the scale. Could you start making people in that scale to go along with the armor. A tank crew and tank riders could be sold individually to start. The more figures in different positions the better. This is what sets dioramas apart. The more people the better! Think about the hundreds of soldiers in 1/35 scale. Many more 1/16 U.S. figures please!
That turret looks outstanding! That's one thing that has always bothered me about 1/35 cast texture and the 1/35 molded surface of plate steel. If you scaled the textures up to 1/1 the textures would be outsized. Outrageously outsized. Some of the scale texture would be the size of your hand. But the textures molded in large scale kits are more realistic. Can't wait to get my kit.
Well Andy I think you knock that out of the ballpark with this Sherman this is going to be a great seller for you hope to see more of Andy's models in 16 scales in the near future 👍👍
There are more resin printed figures in 1/16 scale also I dearly hope to see figures depicting the Rat Patrol for those jeeps. That is why I want two of those.
@@AndysHobbyHeadquarters it would go nice with the 1/16 scale jeep , in a diorama I, would love to do in the future. Thanks Andy, love you work it's appreciated my friend, have a good day ! And hello from Florida.
Hey Andy, great work on the factory diorama. I preordered the 1/16 Sherman tank and look forward to this kit. It looks very nice and looks like a fun build. I was wondering if you knew of the Takom OI tank. Will you be carrying this item and if so will it be September or October? It has A September release, but I know shipping is still in the air. Thanks for the video and all you do for our hobby.
Hey! I have a question are models from like Tamiya and dragon 1/35 models compatable for 1/32 vehicles and figures cause they look similar size? And judging by the size of some of them I'm sure they were marked as 1/35 but would fit as 1/32 and if they are compatible with 1/32 figure wha are some low part count models?
Hi Andy, I really like the 1/16 scale armour, can't wait for the Sherman, but they are huge ( I have 3 tanks at the moment). I find the 1/35 scale small. Has anyone though to produce 1/24 scale. It would seem to be a good compromise and there is a ton of aftermarket products available.
The 50 cal rounds in the accessory kit I purchased look fantastic. the jig for the links do not work very well. the holes aren't big enough for the rounds. I could only fit a round a quarter way in. I will have to file out the holes a little, though I don't think I should have to do that.
Make sure you get some german Weissbier while you are down there! ;) Weihenstephaner or Franziskaner being MY favs. hehe. Should be a good show anyhow.
When will I be able to acquire, here in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, the Sherman model, with all these complements that you showed in this video, for me to make a diorama on the scale 1:16?
Ive been watching for 4-5 years and its so fantastic to see how your'e growing. So excited for your designed kits!!! I'm starting my own channel and its the best thing I ever did!!! Thanks, Bill
Hi. Can I ask: what's the difference between the 'basic' Takom Sherman & your 'Andy's Hobby HQ' version please? Or is it just the same kit with your name on it?
Andy? I hate too seem like I am ungrateful for the Easy Eight, cuz, I really am, but, I'd really, really rather see a Super Sherman (M51). Is that anything that has been considered? Discussed? Thanks in advance!
Please let the new model coming out be a German WW2 tank. Perhaps a Hetzer with full interior or a Flak panzer IV Whirlwind. An other idea is a MG 34 and or machinegun team with the tripod.
Glad to see a brick and mortar hobby shop alive and thriving - thanks for another video Andy!

Dang! Your factory diorama looks fantastic Andy...and the Sherman & commander figure as well! 👍👍
I'm so excited for you Andy, the tank looks great, fine cast texture. Your figure is looking good I can't wait to hear the other good news.
This all looks amazing quality. You have clearly put so much work in to create a fantastic kit. All the best from the UK.
