Thank you so much! I'm happy to help! I feel like these kits can be intimidating with all the details but it is so much fun to see the finished result.
RFM has impressed me so far for sure! I have every RFM interior kit except the Stug III and IV as I already have the Panzer III and IV. RFM's interiors go together so well I'm almost scared to put together the Border, Miniart, Trumpeter, and AFV club interior builds I have in my stash.
Great video - great advice. I've battled with interior kits, as during the later steps they often don't comfortably fit - top to bottom. You can buy a great assortment of lead wire (thicknesses) at Bass Pro shops in the US - sold for use in tying fishing flies,
Thanks. I struggled with my first interior build when it came to final fitment but my last two from RFM have fit like a glove even after all the interior construction and modifications.
Hi mate Great work, a stunner of a kit! RFM Sherman kits are definitely the best on the market if you’re looking for accuracy and aren’t in a hurry 😂 I’m in the process of building 20 odd Sherman kits and Meng would come in 2nd place with their Jumbo model, Asuka with their range, Tamiya, Italeri and Academy in that descending order. Thanks for sharing your build Cheers from 🇦🇺 ❤😊
Thank you! This is my 2nd Sherman build. I built the Takom Easy 8 in 1/16 scale last year and enjoyed it. This RFM kit is great so far! I have an Asuka jumbo to build. The Sherman had so many variants and the crews were very creative in adapting them, shall we say, field engineering them? Think those sandbag armor rigs. The Sherman is a great subject for modelling!
@@relentlesstorm You can’t beat a Sherman build. I’me also doing a few of Dragon’s kits but sadly they’re not as good as they say they are! 😞 I might do a 1/16 Takom Sherman one day, hopefully b4 I die 😂
I appreciate that! Thank you! I may be spoiled with interior builds after this one. The Sherman is so well documented and RFM definitely took advantage and included a LOT of details that look great and fit very well.
That interior looks so real I want to jump in and drive it! Awesome weathering detail work! I can't wait for the turret to be installed and you finish your diorama. I'm inspired so much that I want to try my own diorama in the future! Keep up the good work and appreciate your teaching skills for us all. Take care!
Outstanding work my friend, you take a lot of pride in your work, and I think it's great. Keep up the great modeling, looking forward to more results. ✌
The enamel was applied straight over the acrylic in this case. It is safe to apply enamels directly over acrylics. I typically seal in the exterior base coat before applying weathering in case of mistakes.
I found snippets of the manual on The Sherman Tank site. There is a plethora of information on Sherman tanks there. Here is a link - www.theshermantank.com/tag/tank-interior/
You put the hobby to its next level. This video is the new reference for anyone (including me) who wants to build that kit.

RFM by farcare the best company on the market. I got about all of their interior kits not including the newest ones put out.

Thank you so much! I appreciate the support.
did you apply the mig engine oil straight over the acrylic, or did you seal the engine first

@@relentlesstorm thank you for the reply, I'm a beginner and found your video fascinating, again thank you 👍
