We had a really good time aboard Voyager of the Seas. We had a western Caribbean itinerary that included Cozumel and Costa Maya from Galveston, Texas. Voyager of the Sea may be an older ship but we believe you should have an excellent time aboard her.

Thank you for the review video. Looks like she a lovely ship. Voyager is scheduled to home out of Brisbane Australia, with Anthem homing out of Sydney during the 2025/2026 Australian summer cruise months. While I haven't been on her but have been on Quantum 4 times with 2 more coming up, I have seen the Voyager in Sydney in Feb 2018 and watched her depart sydney on one of her cruises.
Australian cruises are on our bucket list for sure, one of these days we’re going to plan a big trip there.
We prefer the Quantum Class ships like Ovation, Anthem, Quantum, etc over the Voyager class ships usually but Voyager is a good ship even despite her age.
We came back from the 5 day Voyager cruise just a few days ago (2-29-24). Last time we cruised was back in 2019. I can say the cruise amenities like internet, drinks, etc. have gotten more expensive. Guess the inflation had something to do with that. The food seems to have been downgraded a bit also when it comes to main dining hall and the buffet concerning food selections and quality. I am unsure why that is. Last time (2019) the main dining hall served 3/4in thick steaks that was about 11oz and very tender. Now the steak was 3/8in thick and tough and about 5-6oz size ( 1 family member could not eat it so substituted it for spaghetti because it was so tough she couldn't even cut it with the steak knife without putting in a lot of effort). Besides those issues the cruise was fun and the employees were very nice and helpful. The daily schedule also had plenty to do to keep you busy. Please understand this is just a personal review of the cruise and does not reflect other peoples view points.
Completely agree, the cruise lines have made a decent amount of cut backs especially in the food since the restart. Prices are way up and the dynamic pricing model just keeps them going up. The problem is all the debt these companies accrued during the shutdown and now they are in a race to pay that debt down. Maybe one day they’ll increase quality to pre-shutdown days but right now we’re kinda stuck. I don’t even order the steaks anymore unless I’m at chops or coastal kitchen.

Ship is really good
We enjoyed our cruise on voyager of the seas. We like a few other ships more, but even with its faults, voyager is still good.
I love your channel makes me want to go on a cruise just concerned about motion sickness.
Easiest thing to do about that is to get the patches that go behind your ear for seasickness. That way you won’t have to worry about the motion of the ship and can just focus on having fun.
