Yoooooooooooooooo pikmin’s getting a new game in like ten years of waiting!!!!!! It looks so good. I hope the franchise can make a comeback and not have another 10 year hiatus.

@@jackbassett3091 I don't count BOTW as a true Wii U game because it was also released on the Switch. Sure, it was intended for the WII U, but BOTW was also released at the end of the Wii U's life as Nintendo's main home console. It may technically be a Wii U game, but not like 3D world, Pikmin 3, Mario Kart 8, or Mario Maker were. Those games were all released during the WIi U's lifetime and were all intended for the Wii U only. Putting all that aside, BOTW is probably the best Wii U game, but Pikmin 3 is still my favorite.

Pikmin 4! Please, i tried to support the franchise by purchasing physical and digital versiobs of pikmin 3, also buying digital pikmin 1 and 2 and also i bought pikmin short movies HD and 3D versión on wii u and 3DS respectively, bought the Olimar Amiibo, and i bought Hey! Pikmin on 3ds... And since E3 2014 i have been dissapointed each year with no new announcements... Please i know i'm not the only one who supports the pikmin franchise, it sells well, no more spin offs non canon games please. Have a nice day.

So many years I've waited. It's even better than how I imagined.
I find the Rock Pikmin to be a pretty good idea, it adds to the strategy and fills in some of the elements Pikmin weren't immune to before ( ex: crushing, wind, possibly explosions)

This game is utterly fantastic. I'm about 7 hours in and soooooo addicted. Familiar pikmin gameplay but so refined and the combination of nunchuk, remote & gamepad functions are just the perfect fit for the franchise. This is an essential game for ANYONE who's sick of all the same generic crap we've had on other systems this last gen. This game deserves to sell systems.

Well, technically there are 3 charactors, since once you beat the game you also play as the mayor, although your allways limited to 2 charactors at once. Other than that, your correct.

I don’t know why but I really wanted to come back here after the sudden trailer for pikmin 3 deluxe on the switch
I was talking about bosses in general in pikmin games. There are a few that can murder relentlessly. But for most bosses, the only strategy is throw, call back, throw, call back, and repeat until it dies. In this game the strategies and bosses are much more big and at the very least, harder than in previous pikmin games. Take the vehemoth plosbat, or whatever you call it. The battle is VERY extensive and most of it is puzzles in a cave, trying to knock it down as best as you can. It's very cool.
Make pikmin 4 please PLEASE!

I read that this game was originally supposed to come out for 3DS. I am SO glad that it didn't, this game is so pretty, and the motion controls combined with the gamepad work so prefectly if you've got a good setup, the 3DS wouldn't have done it justice. You've done good Nintendo!
I hadn't thought of this aspect, I only thought it served aesthetic purposes. But you're right, it's a great way to distinguish the Pikmin while keeping the rest of the screen relatively clean.

I had to go through a Walmart and 2 gamestops to finally find one that didn't have this game sold out. So glad I have it and I'm so hooked!

Yeah, I agree, to your agreement. I remember, being a noob, and collecting Pikmin, not focusing on the parts. I was a bit younger, and so therefore, I didn't focus. I just remember the excitement, and fun Pikmin brought me.

I have owned Pikmin as one of my first video games. I disliked it back then, but only because I was bad. But I kept it, and I started playing again and again over the years. And now I'm fairly decent and I love it. I'm so excited for it.
