Many of her vocal parts on the album were erased by Lindsey on his and Christine's songs because she had entered the studio having just come out of rehab for her then addiction and was still a bit intoxicated, so her vocal parts weren't up to standard. Here I sit, a 63yo retired Mailman who has only really listened to IRON MAIDEN for the past 24 years. I just bought a new pair of headphones (beyerdynamic DTT 770Pro) and before I 'officially' break them in with "SENJETSU", I just grabbed a CD which turned out to be "Rumours".
Maybe back in the day we just played this loud with no cans, but now being older a much deeper appreciation for what this album represents.
It turns out to be a concious awakening of appreciation for music for me at this age, that once was always taken for granted.
At age 40, when I first 'discovered' IRON MAIDEN certainly at that age gives you appreciation for what it is all about.
To now have FLEETWOOD MAC come to fuition for me is a distinct revolation!
All this may sound overstated, but it is true emotion for me to now (come closee to) appreciate (ing) this album.
You certianly gain better perspective as you age, and I am now totally overwhelmed by Christine McVie! Sorry I missed Her all my life!

I remember it like it was yesterday and for all the concerts I have ever seen this was the most memorable. God I loved this woman! Her songs surrounded me throughout the good times as well as the bad. I remember purchasing her first solo album "Christine McVie" at a time in my life when I was going through a very rough patch and couldn't stop listening to it. One song resonated with me which was "Wish You Were Here", no relation to Pink Floyd's masterpiece. "I wish you were here holding me tight. When I had you here near everything was alright. I wish you were here because I feel like a child tonight". Your legacy lives on through your music! Forever in Our Hearts!!!!! Fly Angel fly!!!

I love Rick Vitos version but i would give my right hand to see Lindsey playing live on stage the original guitar solo.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think he's ever played it live with the band 😲

i DISAGREE COMPLETELY. nOT ONLY ARE 3 GUITARS BETTER, BUT VITO IS A SUPERIOR GUITARIST, IMO.-----------------------FM NEVER SOUNDED BETTER WITH LB GONE ! -------------------------------------------WolfSky9, 74 y/o

Greetings: I heard earlier 2day about Christine. Such a shame. A member of a legendary band. The album version really exemplifies here soft vocals. Even tho the band split/retired years ago...she will B missed. RIP Christine. My condolences 2 John and the rest of the gang.

Christine and Stevie harmonize so well here. I like this iteration of Fleetwood Mac as much as all the others. I'm just so glad they kept making music.

Love this song, reminds me of my childhood, but also when my fiancée was an air hostess and she would be ‘on the other side of world’, she was a pretty girl, just like Christine! RIP songbird ❤

One of my favorite Christine McVie songs. I dig the arrangement here, but I prefer the AOR muscle of the studio version. Happy to see them bring it back for this tour!

This line-up really, really gelled on the “Behind the Mask” tour. Folks are quick to dismiss any non-Lindsey lineups, but the fact is this iteration of the band kept the FM brand alive in the late 80s/early 90s and added another unique and nuanced angle to the Fleetwood Mac legacy.

This is the lineup I would have wanted to see live. The 80s energy on display is just too awesome. The big hair, shiny outfits, the vice city outfits the guitarists have on. And that killer riff throughout!!!

    Love Stevie.
But I feel McVie, who kinda kept the band together. Glue. Talented, "pretty girl" too..
    She did'nt get enough cred.
This is absolutely 4ever! Thanx McVie ❤️🇸🇪 Little do I know. 🙊
I just want to say I appreciate ya
