how many times can you do gpp fitness in a week when you train full body program and how do you know which exercises to put in it? are the exercises that were not practiced the day before
Solid. Enjoyed it and will run this today. Couple questions… 1. Where would I put a GPP session in during the week? Just randomly replace a strength session with it? 2. Do you live in Alabama?
I talked about that near the end of the video at the 'quick story' mark - there's a few options like as it's own session or replacing one of those strength sessions.
🔥🔥🔥 The sled has always been a favorite and those staggered carries have become a favorite recently. what would you substitute for landmine? Ball slams?
@@danlebel3507 yes, was indeed able to mimic the hip to hip rotation with my 12kg kb for the 20reps. Will try to bust out the barbell next time to compare how the motion feels compared to the KB swap, but I liked the KB swap just fine.
Yes, but it depends on your level of ability. I have lots of people in their 50s/60s on my EVOLV program: marketplace.trainheroic.com/workout-plan/team/jbc-5x?attrib=549825-yt

Thanks for this great video! Would this replace or be in addition to a steady state Zone 2 day in the weekly plan?
@@dianecooper8316 ideally it would be an addition

Yes you do!
Looking cut!
Appreciate it!
Are barbell complex’s a good option for a GPP workout??
in conjuction with other modalities, it could be, but there are many factors such as loading and overall intensity of the complex.
This is an interesting Concpet. Is their a book on it?
Lots of books that talk about GPP. Louie Simmons talks about it every book he's written.
@@jasonbrowncoachingI was just going to refer him to Louie Simmons stuff about GPP. It changed my life! R.I.P. to him

That depends on you and what type of program you're on.
No, I'm in New Hampshire.
@@jasonbrowncoaching I’m running the full body programming you put out on YT not long ago.
Thanks for the replies.

If you own a barbell stick it in a shoe in the corner of your room. Maybe Russian twists of you don't have a barbell, but I'll defer to Jason.
I'd get a landmine. They are less than 30 bucks on amazon.
Thank you! I work with barbell once a week and like to think of this conditioning work outs as barbell free workouts :)
@@47Strong might be able to try the same movement pattern but with a light kettlebell
