Doctor Hashmi i follow you videos regularly. My husband has iga nephropathy established through biopsy..age 40 weight 73 height 183 cm ...gfr is 66 .the main problem is leaking protein..We do testing evry 3-6 months 0.77 gm ,0.79 gms and this current one came around 1.6 gms. We are on ceveram and Farxiga and as per the doctor here we are on max therapy management. However he has asked us if we want to be. Apart of clinical trials for Atacecipt...he will not know whether he is getting plcebo or 150 gms of Atacecipt. He has50 percent chance of getting the medicine.if agreed to be part of trial. Shall we opt for it or one it has more long term implications? Or shall we opt for something else for protein leaking? Please advise it will mean a lot

Take a look at the section on Mediterranean diet. It's impact is not through weight loss

I’ve been currently watching some of your videos on kidney “care”.
What I’m confused about is the studies you bring up about the dangers of high potassium and phosphorus foods, and the damage it does to the kidneys. Yet you’re telling people to eat foods like beans, lentils, and legumes, that are SUPER high in these minerals. Even for 1 serving. This is the problem a lot of people are having. Following a doctor on RUclips, suggesting things you should have/consume, yet if you READ the labels, it’s some of the WORST foods that you should consume for kidney health. READ THE LABELS people.
