- We got our hands on the 2023 Nissan Z Proto Spec, and immediately began working on it. We were able to be the first RZ34 Z to break into the 10s on a 1/4 mile, with a 10.78 @128 MPH, but we didn't stop there.
After adding our mods, we became the first Z in the 9s as well, running a 9.92 @ 137 MPH 1/4 Mile:

@@shad3128 that has nothing to do with a rolling encrypted ecu. It’s still been updated as well.
It’s actually what Nissan wanted. They wanted the consumer to be able to tune and modify it out of the box which is why they didn’t go crazy on exhaust and suspension ect…

To pretend that the B58 is just on another planet is why no one takes trolls like you seriously. Are there some advantages the B58 has architecturally? Yes.. But that’s not translating to real world aftermarket. We’ve got aftermarket VR30’s running with Tesla Plaids and gapping BWM Supras all day. Go to Dank Qs RUclips channel and check it out. The VR30 is a legend and a beast of an engine. I don’t know why that bothers Beemer trolls so bad. Half of y’all are already mad because a aftermarket Q50 walked you, so you come into these comments trolling. Either drop some links to some good kills or keep flapping your imaginary superiority. 🤡

If real that is one of best Dyno graphs I have ever seen on a turbo car. Torque doesn't stay flat, it climbs!
AMS doesn't lie.
It's fairly common to see flat torque curves with modern cars. A lot of modern cars nowadays the torque peaks early , around 2000rpm and then flatlines till about 5 or 6000rpm before dropping off.
You gained 68hp from just a retune???

Like I've been saying. Nissan intentionally made this car with a shit load of potential for the tuning crowd to explore. The chief designer said all along that they weren't looking for numbers straight from the lot cuz it wasn't necessarily to do when they know it a hidden beast waiting to be unleashed.

Stock dyno: 372/400 = 93% (which is a 7% drivetrain loss).
Going by that, 719 whp = 773 bhp.
600+BHP with bolt ons only is damn good power.

its still a jatco so it probably wont be able to go much higher reliably. still have no idea why they didnt opt for a ZF for a few more dollars

Don't lol Q60's with bigger turbos are getting walked by N/A camaros and mustangs with basic bolt ons and let's not mention the BMW's lol. Get a B58 car, much better platform and more reliable if you want to stay import.

Would I be able to achieve the same numbers with my Infiniti Q60?
im excited to see what this engine can take. my guess close to 800Hp before rods and pistons but who knows?
The safe spot for the engine and trans was around 600whp and 600wtq for the q50 and q60, we have seen people take the stock engine and make 700+ and detuning the torque quite a bit for safety. But 700 is an aggressive tune for the engine. B&C have pushed theres to 800whp with about 550wtq i believe. Id day the car can safely handle 650whp while maintaining 600wtq. Any more and you are just counting the passes before it blows. As for the z we havent had anyone push the 9 speed yet so we will have to see what that trans is capable of!

@@ACommenterOnRUclips He said "push the 9 speed"... high 500tq to the wheel isn't pushing the 9spd as that's around the same numbers the Q50/Q60 is putting down on the 7spd. It would be interesting to see mid 600tq to the wheels on the stock 9spd in the new Z and see how it handles it.

Shows the slip for the 10.47, but doesn't show it for the 9.9. Claims the engine does 719whp. This engine couldn't handle more than 600hp in the redsport without rebuilding the engine. So, how the hell could it get to 119 more hp? I don't believe shit in this video.
See 04:49 for the dynamometer graph. 06:00 you can clearly hear the radio announcing Jacob drove the Z into the 9's 3 times in one day.
@@youtubecensorsmycomments There are many shady companies. There isn’t a vr30 that can handle 719whp without a full rebuild. This engine is old af. It’s weaker than the out going vq37. Again, there is a reason why no slips were shown for the 9.9.

What happened to your torque? Those numbers were looking really good, until you changed the turbos. What size turbos did you guys put on? Referring to them by what you named them doesn't tell me anything.
My 95 300 is E85, GT2863s, running a Haltech Elite 2500. My last dyno session was on 3/21/23

Your 719 hp is not bad, but that 592 torque value is way low. Something is not matching up well.
pure stage 2 turbos use the factory housing turbos so still very small. Basically they are just ported stock turbos with upgraded larger billet compressor and turbine wheels. You also had a built engine, the torque is kept low on purpose to keep the motor and trans happy.

It makes me angry when seeing people working on cars in a controlled setting with all the tools they need. You're supposed to be lacking tools, dropping half of the screws you pull out into odd areas of the engine and shit

There is nothing rare or collectable about this yellow 400z, they are exactly the same as other Z's, only with questionable color

I ran a 9.7@ 147mph with the 6 speed, 315/30/18 A052 rear tires. 1st gear is limited to 470kw atw, 2nd is 550kw and 3rd onwards is 630kw atw. (850hp). It's a cornering setup, so traction off the mark isnt great, I only managed a 1.5 60ft. But good to see others are doing it too.

How did you guys get it to hook and 60' like that? I've heard there's problems with getting the car to do proper burnouts (and therefore can't warm up drag radials).
With line lock and a good tune it's possible.
Alec, what is the decibel and hp & torque gain on AMS' 3" exhaust for Z32 twin turbo 5 speed? I looked it up online and couldn't find it anywhere.
Unfortunately the Z32 is not a platform we work on currently, so I'm not sure. Thank you for checking out our video though!
