As a Dad to a Special Needs Child myself, this touches my heart to no end. Special Needs Kids and Adults hold a special place in my heart. I see them being stared at, picked on, bullying, being made fun of, etc. . . . It pisses me off.
I have cerebral palsy as well, but mine is different. I can talk clearly and I don't need to use a feeding tube. This is amazing what you guys did for this little boy and his family! God bless you all at KMOV! God bless Charlie and his mom!
There are all levels of Cerebral Palsy. Regardless of ones station in life it's important to always look on the bright side and be grateful that things are not worse than they are. Easier said than done sometimes, I know.

This is a beautiful story but at the same time, don’t judge or wonder why his birth mom gave him up for adoption. That might have been the biggest gift he could have received. To be so quick to be upset and mad at her….you never know someone else’s circumstances.
That kid is so cute! He hopefully will live a rich life full of love, and he is off to a great, fresh start thanks to Amy and this community. Great going!
