I love how they put so much into his “adoption proposal” or whatever you want to call it. To see their family and friends show up and just how many people are were there to support Andrew and his new parents and siblings was special. I’m so happy for him to be back with the family he spent so much time with and loved and he knows they love him and he’s safe.
On one hand yes. On the other hand I'd prefer to keep it a familymatter, have a small party with just mum,dad and siblings, and later throw a bigger party for extended family and fiends. But everyone has to do as suits them best.
You said it right. The adoption proposal was awesome and they asked if i knew anyone that would help with it so i got my family, my barber workers and clients to help with that and it was so amazing to do that and see their happiness
Many people don’t realize just how IMPORTANT it is for young foster children to interact with other kids. It teaches them social skills without lecturing, and even more importantly (especially in this boy’s case) it teaches them about familial love without making it hard to grasp. To the untrained eye, it’s just two boys playing games and eating Pop Tarts. But to folks like myself, it’s the early formation of brotherly love, and it’s so sweet to see.
