Only Americans think being nice is something special . In my country people do nice things all the time no one thinks it's special because we see it so often .feel sorry for people that don't see this every day
Today someone handed me some money at the grocery store and told ms to buy my baby something. Little does that man know he help feed us for few days. I'm so thankful.
Be careful guys. I had a guy ask me to buy his kid formulas and diapers. I felt so bad so at first I tried to give him $10 and he said he didn't want cash but held onto the ten. I have a hard time saying no to people so I walked with him to self check out and I am not kidding, it came out to be about $100. He kept saying " I need the receipt". That took me by surprise b/c I kept thinking.."hmm why would he want the receipt". I wanted to take the receipt as I paid for it but he kept his hand out...so I just let it go. that is when I sensed something was off. Keep in mind, he still has the $10 too. We walk out the store and he just keeps looking at me, thats when it occurred to me that he is using the RECEIPT to return the items and get cash for it. I waited in the parking lot and I seen him lurk around the grocery store. I ended up driving away, feeling ashamed of myself for not having the guts to say no. Just be careful, they will take advantage of your kindness.

Especially women. Just saying something like "Your purse is so cute/lovely/so unique" or "I just wanted to tell you that this color of blue is beautiful on you!". As long as it's a sincere compliment, you'd be amazed at the reactions. So many women have told me that it's the first compliment they've heard in YEARS! A small little kindness can go a long ways.

When our son was around 5 or 6, he was very curious about debit cards & how the machine worked. So, I taught him my pin number & we practiced 'checking out' at home. The next time we went to the grocery store, I gave him a boost up & handed him my card. He was SO proud of himself! Then the lady behind me loudly said, "You think you're having fun with your kid now but, I'll guarantee that he'll take your card some time & start to order things off the internet until your broke!". Michael gave her a very serious look & told her, "No I won't! That would be stealing!". I was a very proud Mom that day(& every day before & since!)
That young lady is exactly what is good about is good about America, if only we could all be like her and simply stop and treat everyone a little better than we would like to be treated ourselves. Good job Krystian.

Good people are everywhere. You just have to look around! I walk with a cane and most folks hold doors for me or ask if I need any help at the store. Don't give up on people.

There really are alot of good people around. I remember when my mother was in a wheelchair, people always came to open doors for us. One man passing by on the sidewalk lifted her out of the car seat into the chair when i just didn't have the strength to do it. People HAVE goodness in their hearts…its just this world that makes us forget that.
Hopefully, it won't. I pray that his positive and loving experience, executed by the kindness of the cashier, out weighs any negative racial influence that he may encounter in the future.
