I'm not sad.She made a selfless choice that was best for her and the baby. She gave her baby to a family that could give Zoey the love and upbringing she deserves. It makes me so angry when I hear about children being raised by abusive parents; There are so many people out there (like this couple) that would make wonderful parents, but don't have the opportunity for various reasons. This is a happy ending.
This is why those 'safe haven' boxes are so important! It gives a mother going through a situation a safe decision to make... and it gives loving people like these two the chance to start a family! Thank you to the biological mom... and thank you to the couple that adopted this beautiful baby! Such a beautiful story!
Also what people need to know is a safe haven box is a wonderful thing to help babies, but also Safe haven laws are laws in every state and all they have to do is walk into an emergency room or a fire station (even when a box is not present) and hand the baby over. They are given a paper to fill out with basic family health history which maybe important and are given a bracelet with matching numbers. The identity of the mother is kept confidential either way. And in a period of time if she decides not to come back the baby is then adopted. Like the 19 year old woman who gave birth then murdered her son in the er of a hospital in Arizona or New Mexico. All she had to do was hand the baby over and leave. She would’ve gotten the care she needed and the baby would be safe now. It’s so sad and situations like this do not have to happen.
This is the second time I watched this. It doesn’t always turn out like this. I just watched another clip of a family out walking, they saw something in a towel, in the middle of a small bridge and it was a newborn left there, umbilical cord still attached and on its way to be a very hot day!
The idea of anonymity, I think, is preferable though. What if the mother suddenly decides that she'd like her back? She now knows where to find her, and, even though the baby is now legally adopted, she could cause all sorts of trouble. Not being cynical, just logical, so here's hoping that the situation remains good for all involved.

To the biological mother: I don’t know what hardships led you to this decision but I want to commend you for doing the right thing. I hope your situation gets better. To the adoptive parents : Thank you! What a miracle..! She was meant for you..!!
To say she was meant for them invalidates the birth mom’s tragedy. It’s like saying she was chosen to go through pregnancy and relinquishing her newborn for another woman and denies her pain. It wasn’t “meant” to be. It was a tragedy for one woman and a “miracle” for another. I learned this from our 5-year-old son who was screaming and crying during the run up to his birthday party. In exasperation he questioned “who” the meaner was who so cruelly used his birth mom for such a painful purpose. We had told him the adoption agency endorsed version of the adoption story that focuses on the baby and adoptive parents, calling it magical and meant to be. He came to us as a 4-month-old who was born 2 months premature and had been out of nicu 3 weeks when he came to us, so his grief wasn’t because he knew her and missed her. Our daughter and most kids in our statewide group had similar feelings. So we stopped the magical version and joined him in grief for a teenager in a horrible situation while also celebrating our family. It is possible for it to be both horrible and wonderful at the same time.
So do I because sometimes and for whatever reason you give your baby up and I see all these awful parents who don't even acknowledge their children while they are with them. Whoever you are bless 😊 you for keeping baby safe.
@fannieschannel5451 your experience is not everyone's experience. You have no idea of the circumstances that led this particular birth mother to make the decision she did. This is a happy ending.
Don’t be sad. Children need parents, not necessarily biological parents. I was adopted and never felt “sad” for my bio mom whoever she is.
There is a person who will keep this video saved and watch again and again.

How beautiful! I pray the biological mom is watching. Thank you so much for loving your baby enough to give her a chance for happiness.🥹💞🙏
Divine intervention 🙏
@@Weatheredstorms1right, and women don't know about the options because all they are told is that abortion is a right and the only solution...
This is the second time I watched this. It doesn’t always turn out like this. I just watched another clip of a family out walking, they saw something in a towel, in the middle of a small bridge and it was a newborn left there, umbilical cord still attached and on its way to be a very hot day!
I hope the biological mother is able to see this and see that her daughter is so well cared for and that she made the right choice.

And like you said, which completely negates your previous statement, something can be both wonderful and horrible at the same time, depending on who you are speaking to. Saying it was meant to be doesn't invalidate anyone, in my opinion.

They really should! ❤
What an incredibly selfless decision her birth mother made. It's very obvious Zoey is not only loved by her parents, but by her birth mother too. She is a lucky girl.
@@666AbbeyRoadI think you should reread the comment. That is not what is being said.
@@666AbbeyRoadLOL, they said "selfless" not "selfish"
@@666AbbeyRoad dork...
beautiful story..❤
To all the mothers out there ( I know you all are crying ) this is a gift that is bigger than selfless. It truly is a story of love on both sides.
Hope the mum is ok, and hope she sees that her baby is safe & loved ❤️
I’m a bio mom too. It’s been 53 years for me. Stories like this help me. It was the hardest thing I’ve ever done. I’ve had regrets every day of my life, but yet I’ve also known, every day of my life, that I did the right thing.
Thank you for doing the right thing.❤
You did a wonderful thing. Thank you for your sacrifice.
Elaine 69 years ago my mother a single 21 year old woman gave me up for adoption. I got great parents and was very happy with them but I always wondered about my other mom. Two weeks ago I discovered who she was. A woman who 5 months after I was born died during surgery after a car accident. She did the right thing if I could hug her it would be wonderful but I can’t. I drove a couple of hours last week to the small town she was from and visited her church for services and found her grave along with those of my grandparents. I was sad but thankful. She has beautiful grandchildren and great grandchildren and a very grateful son. I still don’t know what she looked like but in my heart she is beautiful. I am sure your child thinks the same.
@@miketierney7451Dying a few months or a year after giving birth is the best gift any mother could give to their child.
I’ve always thought giving a baby up for adoption would be one of the most difficult things to do in life, and would haunt you life long. Even when it’s the right thing to do, for whatever reason. I think it would help to know that the child did well.
Their story resonates with me and I wish them nothing but happiness. My husband and I have been trying for 10 years with no success. We're in the middle of an adoption, but we've been waiting for over 3 years. We're at the point that we're "discouraged", but they have given us hope. We need to hang in there and have faith that one day, we'll be blessed as well.
Never give up.
Please stick with it.. we are all rooting for you ❤🙏🏿
You’re in my prayers.
We adopted and I totally understand that feeling. Every day you kind of wait for a phone call, or you're staring at the calendar, wondering how many more days will go by. Your miracle is coming! We received ours and I know you will too ❤️❤️❤️
I wish and pray for ypir adoption success - do not give up your motivation amd willingness to give a little baby a life
I imagine one of the hardest parts of giving up a baby it’s not knowing about their future. This is such a blessing for the mom who made the right choice to see that her baby will have a safe life.
I'm glad it's getting attention, the mom can be reassured of her decision.
And have to live the rest of your life wondering what became of the baby
I LOVE this story. What a perfectly beautiful blessing. Adoption can be such a beautiful thing!
The biological mother did so so well to carry and nurture and birth this beautiful child. And to place her in a safe place under what must have been very difficult circumstances. God bless her 🙏
Hopefully she's at peace with the decision.
@@kryer981 exactly she did the right thing
what if the biological dad doesn't know and HE would have liked to take care of his daughter? he has rights
what a dumb what if
@@412pgh2 You don't think outside the box do you? There is a biological father in all this. He may not even know. And at some point in this little girls life, through DNA, she will find out who he is and who her biological family is. All it takes is sending your DNA to Ancestry or 23andMe or any of those DNA labs and they will match you with other people in the system. And if he finds out sooner rather than later he has rights to his child. The courts would definitely grant him visitation and he may even be entitled to a custody issue.
My heart goes our to the biological mom. I cannot imagine the agony. At the same time, I am so very proud of her. I heard a song once that said "From God's arms, to my arms, to yours."
That's a precious quote ❤ Love that. She had to carry her baby for months and give her up, can only imagine how painful that must be. I hope she's somehow able to see this video.
THIS is a win-win situation. I am happy for the adoptive family and also for the birthmother who made a final decision and kept her child safe.
Indeed she is an angel
😘😘😘!!!
Thank you to her biological Mom for her giving her life!! She’s my hero!! 💜
Come on let's not go overboard, she did the right thing by giving her daughter a chance at life, but other than that she's not a hero. For all we know she can be out right now getting pregnant again with no plans on raising her kid.
@@blacksquid270 May she be well and hopefully safe but the only heroes here are the baby's new parents. They are the REAL heroes of this sad but lovely story.
@@edyannNo heroes here. On either side. A hero runs into a burning building to save a person. Adoption does not a hero make
Her mom should be arrested. This is awful that you are encouraging.
@@bunjijumper5345 I don't think that anyone here is encouraging that. But me, for example- I am grateful that she at least took the baby to a safe place. Who knows what might have happened to the biological mother. I hope she's well and doesn't do that again but right now all I know is that because she did leave her there, this story thank goodness has a happy ending. Those good people adopted her and she's such a cutie pie!
My heart goes out to the birth mom because giving up her baby must've not been easy at all. She loves this baby very much to have given her up in a safe place and give her a second chance instead of throwing her away as some unfortunately do. Little Zoe is precious and beautiful. She will be very much loved by this couple❤ Interesting she looks like her adoptive mommy:)
Blessings! The birth mother did the right thing for her child!!!!! Safe Haven Boxes are an absolute must!
God bless your Family, What a great Job you did, Love you Cute Princess 🥰😍
This woman and man have hearts of gold. God bless them and their little baby.
I think baby Zoe looks like her adoptive parents. This was meant to be. Sending gratitude and peace to Zoe’s birth mother x
Neither of the parents is ginger 😊. What makes them look alike is their devotion to each other.
The bio mom is such a star!⭐️⭐️⭐️ She did what was right, not what was easy. What a beautiful gift she gave this couple.❤️💕💕
if i throw my baby in the dumpster im a star wow
@@M.S.Y.CWhat is your problem, leaving all these idiotic comments? No one threw a baby in a dumpster or out the window as your other comment said.
A blessing from God . Congratulations to Zoey and parents . 😊😊😊 ❤❤❤❤❤
Bless the birth mother and bless this beautiful family
Safe haven box is the best idea ever happen. Everybody wins. That baby girl is going to have the best life she can have with the loving parents like that.
Could not fight the tears when I heard the Mom say, "She looked at me and she smiled, and that's when I knew that I was in love and that was with my daughter." Just a beautiful story.
That’s when I started crying too.
Yes tears welled up in my eyes too at that moment
omg what a beautiful baby girl....she gorgeous...happy for thiscouple.
Yes the bio mom came through for her daughter. It’s a true blessing this couple was able to adopt her . Congratulations
This should be a PSA for all the girls out there that don’t want their babies. Safe havens are out there. People are out there who will love and care for your baby. You don’t have to do the unthinkable. This is a beautiful thing. What amazing strength the birth mom has.
Uh... there aren't that many adoptive parents available.
@@ayanp353true i would say abortion is still a valid option. with the alexee trevizo case though, you get the gist of it. if you’re gonna birth a baby, give it to a loving family instead of taking it’s life.
