To the negative comment you received on here...Bill...I wish it was actually possible...to do an experiment...where they take the same exact child...and put it with 3 different kinds of parents...and grow up in 3 different kinds of atmospheres....and see how and what kind of person that child grows up into under 3 different kinds of scenarios. I am who I am today because of how I grew up. If I had had different parents with different views, political and religious, or if they had been poorer or richer, if I had lived in California instead of a farming town in Missouri...you can't argue that I wouldn't be a different person.
You are being formed into the adult you will be from the moment you are born. From your parents..the economics you are raised in, the teachers and schools you attend are strongly determined on where you live, the friends you have, etc.
That girl doesn't sound ungrateful...she sounds strong... that because no matter how hard life has been for her...she is determined to become better. And hopefully she will pass that down to her children and they will be better.
Don Forman is one of the biggest unsung heroes in the world today.

@zoomeroula why not? I have a 08 sentra with the cvt. It does have some issues but it also now has over 250,000 on it. Everything still works and it drives as it should

I AM CRYING SO HARD
They remind me of me...when I started college I was homeless, living in my car. I would shower at the gym before class and do my homework at the public library. Now I'm 2 semesters away from a chemistry degree, I have a 4.0 GPA and I scored a place in the honor society. Bless these women and may they always keep that fire in them...it's the best part of our population.

I started crying while watching this video. It's so nice to know within all the horrible things that happen in this world, there is always good to counteract the evil.
When they succeed I would never drive anything, but a NISSAN from Mr. Forman or his family for life. He is a sweet man and his wife for the giving he does.
Monica Jackson is my favorite on this show. She always has intelligent questions, but also compassionate when talking to the people she interviews.

I hope whoever sees this will help the older sister with her education, since she had drop out of high school to take care of her siblings. Hope these teens, hope their siblings can get help their education as well.
I just want to say that I really think it’s fantastic that this program exists at all, to award local kids who really want to work in the hospitality industry there. I grew up in a tourist area and it can be difficult growing up with all those crowds swarming, the increased prices that comes with that, etc. and not feeling like you, as a local, really gets anything out of it.
