Grocery List:
Fries (homemade or store-bought, unseasoned)
2 1/2 lb Beef chuck roast, cubed
1 medium carrot, peeled and chopped
2 yellow onions, quartered and sliced
1 tsp ginger, grated
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 tbsp butter (divided)
2 tbsp neutral oil (divided)
1/2 cup red wine (Cabernet)
1/2 tbsp Japanese curry powder
1 tbsp tomato paste
4 cups beef broth
1 red apple, grated
1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp ketchup
1 tbsp honey
2 tbsp milk
1-2 bay leaves
1 Japanese curry roux package
Shichimi Togarashi (to season fries)
Kewpie Japanese mayo or fried egg to top
Salt & Pepper Хобби

Great video John. A patron supporter request. I’d love to see a video of cooking with stainless, cast iron and non stick. The differences, technics etc. I just invested in stainless and have a cast iron but grew up using only non stick. Would love some tips.
