Fish flipper - Mechatronics

  • This is a virtual prototype of a fish flipper, to be used in fish processing facilities. The main objective of this machine is to autmatically flip the fish, such that it can be inspected on both sides with machine vision.
    This project was the result of a student project in the subject "Machine Construction and Mechatronics" at the Institute of Product Development and Materials at Norwegian University of Science and Technology(NTNU).
    The machine was modelled in NX8, while the renderings were done in Keyshot 3.
