Hi, no problem! Hmm which transfer paper have you been using? I prefer Burda's Dressmakers carbon paper, which tends to stay put quite well and is tougher to remove - I know that some papers are a bit more chalky and rub off more easily!
Glad it was helpful! Sure, it's Burda carbon paper - available here: paraffle-embroidery.com/products/burda-dressmakers-carbon-paper-white-and-yellow :)
Hey! I don't think most carbon papers come in black - but there are packs of red and blue carbon paper that work equally well on white fabric! Lighter fabrics have a few more options, too - you could also trace the design on with a water soluble pen (which isn't possible on darker ones)! 😊
@@Paraffle thank you for the answer ^^ In Italy, for some odd reason, we have black carbon paper, too xD but I'll keep the other methods you mentioned as a backup, so thanks!
This is dressmakers carbon paper, so I've only tried it on fabric before! There's a chance it might work on paper, but I don't think it would with wood 😊
Thank you for this video ! 🙏🏽
You're so welcome! :)
Hey thanks for the video! I find that the design is easily rubbed off before/during embroidering. Do you have any tips for this? Thanks!

How to get white carbon paper?
Thank you!
Cool!
I assume that to do the same on a white fabric (what I have to do) one needs black carbon paper...?

Oh that's good to know! No problem 😊
Is this a normal carbon or different
Hi! It's dressmaker's carbon paper, designed for use on fabric - I like to use the one from Burda! 😊
Thank you 🙏
You're very welcome! 😊
Can this work on glossy fabric
Nice
Thanks!
Do you need to use a specific type of pen when tracing over pattern, or will a simple ballpoint pen work?
Hi! A simple ballpoint pen will do it - that's what I tend to use! 😊
Hello, i was wondering if there's good ones on Amazon es?
Do we need to use specific carbon paper? Or we can use anything?
I use dressmaker's carbon paper, from Burda - I find that one works best! 😊
@@Paraffle hmm,okay. Thank you
Omg thank you for this😇
You're very welcome! 😊
Hello,
Can you please tell an alternate option? I am unable to find the white carbon paper in my country. :(
Hi! You can also use Sulky Solvy paper (if you can get it) - you can print/draw on it, stick it onto fabric, then wash it off once you're finished! 😊
