*commenting on a year old video* One thing to factor in with the Hero ( and Jade to a lesser extent) above everyone else is his unique equipment. Hero getting back 20 MP at the beginning of wveey turn makes him really efficient in longer dungeons. Falcon slash turns into a better normal attack when you're gaining resources as you use it. His magic becomes solid, cheap chip damage to help push fights into one tuen kills
Agreed. It's all end of game/post gane stuff, but once I have the Erdwin shield I have him go sword and board for the 20mp (10 from it and 10 from the Erdwin clothes) . Then he can spam aoe abilities and be a healer that has more durability than the others. Of course Greatsword is king for like 90% of the game
@12:54, why would you ever use gigaslash instead of gigagash? Because gigagash isn't available until your skill tree expands later in the game. When deciding which is better, don't forget that rectification isn't all that costly, so I recommend a back and forth between swords and greatswords. Greatswords are better at the start, but once you reach 43 skill points, switch to swords. With 43 skill points you can rectify and beeline to falcon slash, rectify again keeping only the swordmastery skill falcon slash, leaving you enough points to acquire gigaslash! At that point in the game gigaslash is so OP, you'll want to stick to swords at least until you learn the quadraslash ability. You could go back to greatswords at that point, but when you farm enough seeds of strength, dual-wielding swords will once again become the better option.
A fair point, I forgot that Gigagash isn't available until your tree expands. However I still think there's much better things available to go for first before it would ever matter. I personally prefer the defensive bonuses greatswords give too. Falcon slash is very overrated in my experience. I'm sure it's just as viable though
@@LunaCyclone02, my goal wasn't to get falcon slash. The point was that it's a swardmastery skill, so it doesn't go away when you reclaim your sword skill points with rectification. That allows you to then get gigaslash with only 43 total skill points. You should try it; getting gigaslash that early in the game is crazy good!
I dont know why but with dual swords a simple gugaslahs seems to be more efficient than quadraslash that u learn later and costs more mana Maybe develoeprs just didnt balance it well or i just dont do it right
Damn, was really hoping for a skill guide for Jade. All RUclips has for her is compilations of her swinging her chesticles at enemies and close-ups of her legs as she steps on people. I mean, I like that as much as the next fella, but those weren't the skills I set out to find. ;_;
Hahaha I’m not surprised. The jade video will come soon enough. I plan on getting the Sylvando one done in the next few days, so Jade will shortly follow considering there seems to be the want for it :))
@@LunaCyclone02 Can't speak for anyone else, but at least three people in my family own this game and regularly talk about it, so I'd appreciate it if you spent hours of your time making a video so I don't have to! Jokes aside, I watched all of the other guides bar Serena (currently in act 2!) and they came in really handy, so thank you very much.
Luna, I love your takes. All the strategy guides online don’t take your approach and let me down. They don’t use whips, spears or claws like you do. Veronica is labeled a spell caster which sucks because your take opened my eyes to the whip potential. So a question for you. Do you recommend any guide to roll with along with your recommendations? If not, have you considered making a guide yourself?
I can exsept that greatswords are better. But I honestly perfer not needing magic too do all target damage. And hero is in my opinion the best sword user sense they don't have a weapon that does the same thing but better for them
I cheated my mc stats all to 999 But my character doesnt seem to be doing as much damage as on some videos Im in the middle of the game and i recently unlockee all expanded luminary skills I wonder does the quality of weapons and gears also affect the amount of damage or it doesnt matter at all? I also used a lot of seeds on mc in the case if seeds can help.to.go beyond 999, but it doesnt seem to be working Although stength seed boosted right hand damage too

Gigaslash is useful if u cant afford gigagash yet
Are there any specific skills that Hero, Eric and Jade need to unlock in order to use the pep power Hallelujah?
No I believe it's unlocked simply by having erik, hero, and jade.
