I own a V1 Flightstick and noticed that when you select the flightstick in msfs controls options, msfs alters the menu system shown for example at the bottom of the world map to reflect the TB buttons but if you then select keyboard and exit the menus change to keyboard menus at the base of world map! I think the settings are retained when msfs is restarted until you go back and alter controls selection!
I agree with everything u said about the flight stick. I really like it but it does have binding issues and the trim wheel is in a bad spot. I love the pedals especially the pedal configuration options. Great vid as always.
It’s a very good flight stick. It feels really really smooth. Lots of quality of life features like switching left to right handed on the fly and even swaps the buttons around. Excellent product at a very good price
@@PhotonBread I gotta be honest, I'm spoiled. I have a TM Warthog HOTAS on the PC, and I wonder what ever happened to the planned and announced Honeycomb peripherals? 🤔 Sigma Tau, the Foxtrot?!
Thanks for the video. I will order this joystick for my xbox. Do you also use a wireless mouse in your setup and if yes which model works fine with the xbox ?
Thank you; great video! i'd like the idea to assign the autopilot to the 'stupid' cursor-button; but in my version this button (26) is not available to do this! Any idea?
you‘ve mentioned that the shown settings are your „prop-settings“.. would you mind doing a short video about your flightstick-settings for fighter jets? like sensitivity or keybindings? thanks alot man, appreciate!
If you had to choose between the Stick and Rudder pedals, or just the Yoke... which would you choose? The stick with pedals is close enough in price to just the Yoke setup so I'm asking more along the lines of usability, quality, customization, and immersion.
@@Pilot0083 I had the T Flught HOTAS for a year and felt it was great for the fighters and helicopters, but lacked the button count and didn't feel authentic or immersive... still loved it though. Hello everyone. I just got a Turtle Beach "VelocityOne Figlhstick" to play MSFS 2024 on my Xbox Series X. I can't figure out how to enable the little touchpad on the joystick and use it as a mouse. The touchpad would work fine, from RUclips videos, on PC (by moving the mouse cursor on the screen), but not on Xbox. Some videos I've seen online show it was possible in MSFS 2020. (Additional info: the firmware on the joystick is 1.1.6). It would be handy for flying and you have to go into cursor mode to change anything on the EFB, but there's no way. Has anyone done this?
You mention modes on the H2 stick..how are you switching? I see you doing free look and then mixture/pitch - i should be getting mine this week but curious how you switch between the modes.
I use the Xbox series X, but when I connect my rudder pedals to my velocityone yoke, they are not listed in the “control option menu”. Everything is connected properly, and the rudder is on Xbox mode. What could I have done wrong?
No. I invested a ton of cash on a Series X instead of a PS5, specifically cause of this flightstick, & a wide selection of flying games on Series X. Turns out this pos is compatible with MSFS only & nothing else! smh Thats wtf I get for buying before researching I guess?
I just got the rudders for my Flighstick. I have all the latest updates which I’ve done on PC but when I go into Xbox mode on both devices the rudders are not recognized. I have the blue light on and Flightstick nor xbox see them. Do you think it’s my cable in between the two devices?
Yesss the constant interference is ridiculous with msfs … I constantly have to press the left button next to the trim wheel to give control back to the controller in msfs constantly and sometimes it causes the the controls to freak out mid flight… I think that is partly the fault of the sim itself not just the stick …
@@Pilot0083 I have the yolk and also experience the nose dives after coming out of the menus. Whether you're using a mouse or just a gamepad for other functions, you have to tap the yoke left or right to wake it up before unpausing and then everything is fine for me. Sounds like it might be the same with the stick? Do you also get weird behavior on the world map where the globe zooms out and start spinning?
Hi Pilot 0083 could you please help me with a velocity one setup regarding the 737/600 trim? While the trim works on all the airplanes on the 737/600 it does not respond. I turn the wheel up and down and nothing happens! (Xbox/s) Thenks in advance.
@@Pilot0083 yes I have the turtle beach yoke, rudder pedals and just got the stick. The rudder pedals are plugged into the yoke so when I hook up the stick, will it still pick up the rudder pedals if I have it set to stick in controller options in the SIM
@@Pilot0083 got it all figured out rudder pedals are plugged into the yoke with the wire adapter, and then plugged into the Xbox. Flightstick is plugged directly into the Xbox. The rudder pedals do work, and I can use the throttle quadrant from the yolk with the Flightstick.
Great video man. Even though there are some annoyances I think it’s partly the fault of Microsoft and the way the flight sim is set up… but yeah I definitely would recommend this stick as well.
@@Pilot0083 I’m big into heli’s and this stick is great for swapping between regular GA aircraft and helicopters. The firmness in the stick is great for precise movement for heli flight.
I returned my Velocity One Flight yoke for this flight stick. Much better build quality and while it's not perfect, it's the best option for Xbox currently. Current setup is V1 flight stick + rudder.

In 2024 it's BROKEN. bindings don't work right and it causes conflicts and won't recognize haptic feedback or analogue trim. H1 seems to scan but not bind in game
Is it possible to connect the Flight Stick to the Rudder directly in PC mode?
If you are on pc then yes
