Thank you sm for your support and feedback.💕. Protective styles help for length retention. Check out my passion twist tutorial if you’re interested. I’ll post another protective style vid this weekend✨
Hi love! I’d say about 4-5 years, although I trimmed my hair a lot during that time. Now, I don’t cut a lot off during trims, I just dust the ends when my hair begins to knot and tangle more often💕
Thank you Tina! I wear protective styles often, so my hair is often shielded from the changes of the weather. Since humidity is something we can not control, I have learned to embrace frizz when it happens. Some ways to manage frizz from humidity is to make sure your hair is always fully moisturized- frizz is often the result of dry hair. I hope this helps!
I wear protective styles most days. My hair grows the fastest this way. But, I plan to wear it stretched more often this year because its so much easier :)
@@Kims_Whims Mainly wigs during the fall and winter and braids/twists in the spring/summer. If wearing wigs, make sure to still moisturize your hair daily. I find wigs dry my hair out quickly, unfortunately.
I use an assortment of light oils such as almond, jojoba, and olive oil. My technique also helps me to retain the length. I’ll post a video on that soon!

Thank you!! 🤎🤎🤎
hi, how long did this process take from start to finish?
Hi! This took me 2 days only because I slept with my deep conditioner. If done in 1 day, it takes about 4-5 hours
Do you wear your hair stretched majority of the time?

My hair reverts by the time I finish blow drying my entire head. Sigh..this Caribbean humidity is the enemy!

Thank you so much!
1:36 Did you condition them cheeks too? Lol
Definitely not 4c hair and sounds like you're actually high porosity. Maybe do some research on low porosity. Beautiful type 4 hair though
