I shoot c500 and it's 13mb per frame but when I develops it 50mb why is this and is there advantage but 13 mbps files can be read by Adobe and devinchi
I keep telling everyone, this guy made Davinci Resolve! His knowledge is uncanny. 😉👍🏾🎬😀 He needs more exposure... (My first comment was deleted due to cussing. But it was a good curse!)
Legitimately the best tutorials for resolve are done here. Everyone else is just trying to duplicate this content and just not pulling it off this flawlessly.
Not many people are this good at explaining things. You didn’t assume anything and you always made sure you told the student exactly where to look and where to click. Well done. If I ever need more training or if someone wants a recommendation I’ll send them to your website. Great work.
Thanks for the video! I have a question: is there any particular reason to show the tracking on the color page? Does it work similarly on the fusion page, or is it somewhat different?
Yeah, this! I have seen RUclips videos where they use tracking in the Fusion page, and other videos using tracking in the Color page. I think it has something to do with what you want done to the clip (grading a clip versus a call out text) but I'm not sure. 🤔
This seems easier than using fusion window to track - so what can you do with this tracking window once you have tracked something? Can you stick an image to the tracked area like as in fusion, or is this only for colour grading this tracked area? Is this an alternative to the fusion workflow?
Fantastic video tutorial, thanks! I have one question though... What shortcuts did you use to start and stop tracking? I've been looking through Resolve's keyboard shortcut settings and haven't been able to find anything there. Thank you again!
Can you tell me, whether it is possible to track an effect such as a vignette on an object or something similar? Can you explain to me how this would be possible? many thanks!
Good explanations but I do have a newbie question: When/Why would one use a 'clip' mode to expand the window (but not have the expanded window track anything) -- what is the point of this?
That was very interesting and I’ll surely use those tricks. What is the benefit of using the tracker in frame mode compared to using keyframes? In this example it seems to me that it’s basically the same workflow and the same result.
i try to track a object inthe frame and the object goes out of the frame in the middle of the video, but the tracker tracking the coner of the frame while the object was gone, how to stop tracking in the middle of the video
I can't get mine to track correctly. I am recording airsoft gameplay, where I move alot, but i want like a "target lock" track but it just moves around when I look around. Even though the "track spot" is in frame ; (
Hi!!! Awesome video! But, brings me to a frequent problem I step on: when working with more complex masks, even tho I keyframe the movements from the beginning to the end, when I start move the playhead, the mask get all crazy and running really out of what I previously have keyed....!!! Any tip on how to work with that?! (Hope I made myself clear.....! =/ )
I would like to remove an object from a video. I need these controls in the fusion tab, which seems to be impossible. Is it possible to do it in the fusion tab? If not, how to do it in the color tab?
I'm having an issue where a transition is set between clips, and it won't let me track before the transition has finished. It just won't show up in the power winder as if that part of the clip which overlaps another clip does not exist. Edit: I just deleted my transition so the whole clip showed up in the colour screen. This is a bug they need to fix I think
Hi! Sorry to side track, but is there an option to invert mask for deltakeyer in fusion? I know how to do it in color but i literally cant find it in fusion
it shoulda been mentioned, that resolve is ass when it comes to tracking things without very stark difference in colors. i was tracking a piece of white paper, but everytime my pink reddish white hand got it front, it would start tracking that instead.
Yes. All of the vids from here do that. Perhaps each and every time they re-use a saved audio preset in fairlight, which happens to enhance his otherwise nearly inaudible mouth noises?

His sound is just pure butter to my ears. He speaks just at the right speed, right tone and gives me just the information I need.
This just explained all my frustrations with the tracker. Thank you!
Let me stop for a moment and say, I loooooooooooooooooooove you brother. This video absolutely changed my workflow. Thank you.
Legitimately the best tutorials for resolve are done here. Everyone else is just trying to duplicate this content and just not pulling it off this flawlessly.
Literally saved me. No one explained this like you did and that is priceless. Subscribing right away.

Very well explained. Thank you you've cleared my doubts. Not everybody talks about the interactive mode or the frame button.
Genius! Thank you very much! A DVR Tracker Masterclass in less than 10 minutes. Best Regards from Lima - Perú.

Thank you for your videos, pretty funny that I watched this, even though I don't know what a tracker would be used for. Still don't know.

Great! Thank you!

Hi, so simple and easy. Great video professor 😉. I suscribe. Thank you so much 🙏
Thank you smooch Sir🙏🙏
Hi Alex, I've been watching your channel for years, but what accent do you have? I've never been able to figure it out!
I'm fairly new to DR. Why would you need to move the tracking window around and keyframe it, does it track new points?
Just amazing
i try to track a object inthe frame and the object goes out of the frame in the middle of the video, but the tracker tracking the coner of the frame while the object was gone, how to stop tracking in the middle of the video
Amazing! Thanks for the tips! Great stuff.
thank you so much!!
Good info, Alex. Thank you 🙏
Thank you this is Gold 👍
Very good. Thank you.
SIMPLY AWESOME
What's the benefits of having large tracking window half of which you don't use VS just setting a small window?
Very informative. But I cant copy tracking data in Resolve 18.1, it just doesnt work, its a bug... do you know a workaround?
I might need to watch that a few times :)
I can't get mine to track correctly. I am recording airsoft gameplay, where I move alot, but i want like a "target lock" track but it just moves around when I look around. Even though the "track spot" is in frame ; (

I am having trouble with tracking/blurring a logo throughout a video as things move in front of it and draw the tracking away. Any suggestions?
I would like to remove an object from a video. I need these controls in the fusion tab, which seems to be impossible. Is it possible to do it in the fusion tab?
If not, how to do it in the color tab?
thanks a lot! this was so helpful :)
Awesome!
What about making something follow a traked window, like a Text object, for example?
Thank you!
how to change position all keyframes created in FRAME instead of CLIP using SPLINE? Why I can't see keyframes in KEYFRAME window?
Is this for the free version?
love you man

Excellent
awesome that's all I got to say!!!
Cheers
👏👏👏
Cool
Missing your tutorials, Are you alright Sir?
Thanks, I learned some things.
(This woman drinks a lot throughout the video, she must be completely drunk by the end :-)

anyone else hear asmr sounds when he speaks?
Yes. All of the vids from here do that. Perhaps each and every time they re-use a saved audio preset in fairlight, which happens to enhance his otherwise nearly inaudible mouth noises?
You could complicate making a coffee.
That woman sure drinks a bunch…
