    okay, sub'd... I need more ideas like this and will check out what else you have
    regarding the fast noise... I have been kicking the backside out of that one for the last nine months or so to create abstract graphics for my music videos
    what I like to use is a fast noise followed by an edge detect, and then use mirrors to give me rosette/kaleidoscope type effects but I think I have pushed my experimentations to the limit, now, and it is getting a little bit boring

      Another fun thing to try; you could add the filter node and use the Sobel type. Maybe with a brightness/contrast right before with the low and high clamped tightly and clipped blacks and whites. This will allow you to get sharper "edges" which could look nice with some glows and other effects.

    ⚡the text has a cool glow effect around the edges. I really enjoyed working with the text. I would like to see more such lessons. Very often it is required to create titles for trailers and it looks professional. In particular, the logo for advertising. So do more of this. I will especially note the Node demonstration for understanding what to eat with what. The most difficult thing in creating such a composition is always understanding how to properly link the chain with the desired effects. It's hard to get used to after AE)))

    This is a FANTASTIC lesson! I've just finished building v1 of the text reveal and am quite 'tickled' that it was as straight forward and understandable as it was - BRAVO! A quick question though, how hard do you think this would be to apply to 3D Text in fusion? I've done a significant amount of comps in fusion to consider myself a 'Fusion 3D Intermediate Amateur', so am really questioning if this might be easier to do with particles enclosed inside 3D text? Or alternatively, although I've never used the 3D Noise node before, (but have used FN to create texture materials) Any thoughts on this? I suppose I'm just asking an opinion on which direction to go in to evolve your demo into a 3D scene. TNX IN ADVANCE and again, GREAT WORK!

    • @MattMcCool0
      @MattMcCool0 Год назад +3

      Yeah, I guess using the fast noise as a material on the 3D text would get you pretty close. You could also use a Displace3D fed by the same fast noise (with some blur after) and point it at a 2nd camera to control the direction of the displacement (similar to X/Y refraction). I think you could combine that with some fancy particles and get some interesting results.

      @@MattMcCool0 I think you may have just provided me with the inspiration to find out - perhaps I can share the finished version if I manage to make it presentable (or of course, the 'almost finished' version since when are we ever really 'done' a comp in Fusion... are we? hehe) Tnx for the feedback - I'll wait impatiently for your NEXT AWESOME TUT!

    I had some issues with the first tip (dilate/erode) to mask green parts inside the object i want to preserve in the video. In my case, the subject is in movement and he is with the arms a little away from his body, so, for some reason when I dilate the subject to get ride of the green part inside his body and then apply the erode, the space between his body and his arms are filled with bubbles from the difference of dilate/erode effect and not a masked area from the delta keyer anymore. By effect, this space between the arms and the body of the subject is green on the final image instead of transparent. Not sure if I made it clear since my English is not good enought to explain some things (sorry). Also, there is some green fringering next to the hair of the subject since it's not a clean hair as it's with your subject of the example. Maybe this solution is not good for footages with lots of movement, without sharp edges between the subject and the greenscreen background and also with small gaps filled with the greenscreen between objects that are not supposed to be masked out. Maybe you have some advices for these situations.

      Indeed, it's a bit complex here, but the technique applied in the video is a simplified version that can be adapted to more intricate shots with multiple keys and masks. For a deeper dive into this, try to explore more additive keying tutorials, you can find some on RUclips. Hope it helps a bit. 🙌🏻

    can you track that blur in the person on the desk and window, what if it was all shot on a phone and all is in focus and we want to emulate an autofocus shit following the acotor. can we put diamonds on that

      Here's the alternative idea: keyframe the target depth in the depth map:)
