You are the first person that I've watched that has given a clear explanation of why one would use parrallel nodes rather than serial ones. Thank you so much!
True!
Thank you Keith. Im really pleased with this one and I worked hard to get this tuned how I wanted it - to appeal to all levels, so very much appreciated. Your continued support and kind words noted! All the best, Darren.
You're a godsend to us. Your tutorials are absolute gold dust and your delivery of them is brilliant. Thank you, mate. Super appreciate it all.
Glad you like them! Appreciated. Only just seen this message !
really brilliant! Love what you're doing and listening to you!
This might be the best description of parallel nodes I've ever seen. So much better than mine lol. Great job my friend!
Thanks Jay. Worked SO hard on this one. I recorded/edited a whole days and binned it - this came out of that smart decision to bin original - start again! - original one felt same as others - wanted to get a bit deeper into and show how I use them too. Appreciated my friend! Not watched yours....might now :))
Hey Jay... yours is good too 🙂 ( I learned so much from you so thank you!)
Darren is a mastercolor in Resolve Jay!
@@martinpostmusfilmmaker oh I'm well aware! Darren and I are friends lol
Truly Amazing. That's why I continuously look over different explanations of the same thing... what others lacks, some explains brilliantly. This video is gold. A masterclass. Yet so simple, others simply are not meant to be teachers. I'm also in a position to teach other stuff and I'M ALWAYS GOING IN THE SMALLEST TINY DETAILS AND ALWAYS EXPLAIN WHY. I'm so happy I've seen this first before wasting my time with other "tutorials". This is unfairly so underrated.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks Vasile
Completely agree! I have searched for this exact video in order to understand how this works.
Would love to see layer nodes included in this - when to use them instead of Parallel.
Thanks a lot, no bs just pure information. This is how youtube should be!

Applying the dodge and burn technique from photography is such a smart approach. Great work.
Nothing is free in this world! Then I found this. Thank you!
Darren man , you can explain things in such a way that once a mechanism is understood it's almost impossible to forget it! I'm actually standing at my desk coloring some fashion clips and in the meantime listening to you as a podcast !! Great, just great. THANKS A LOT FOR SHARING!
Thanks Arthur. Appreciated and good luck with the grades!
I’m so glad I found your channel! Most people just fly through and don’t give explanations to why something works the way it does. Thank you truly!
Great tutorial. Thanks Darren.
The difference between a good teacher and a great teacher. I'm new to Resolve and I was avoiding parallel nodes because it seemed confusing. Thanks for this exceptional explanation.
