Dr Webb! You performed surgery on me. Did artificial disk replacement. December 2021. I made the fire academy because I was physical able to perform all the workouts with flying colors. Now I’m pursuing my degree in psychology at UTSA. I’m able to live a fast life without pain. The moment I woke up from surgery that day. I havnt felt a single ounce of pain. I’m turning 30 in November and I feel 25 years old. Thank you for everything you have done for this world. Whatever good thing I do in this world you have a part in that. Again thank you!
whats the difference between 30 and 25 lol you make it sound like big difference
Awesome! This just made my day! Glad you are doing well and good luck at UTSA
#goroadrunners🤙🏽
It is.
@@antoniowebbmd no big difference between a 25 year old and a 30 year old
Wow
I’m so inspired by this dude there’s not a lot of black doctors where I’m from and seeing him is driving me more into my schoolwork
nope. Gotta get used to white people if you wanna work at the hospital they sure are different
They got different anatomy and everything
Why does race matter. He's a doctor
If you're not black then you may not be able to relate. @@thesunris
@@thesunris Its a matter of representation & commonality. More people are inspired to do things when they feel represented in being capable of doing something, that's why it matters.
You are my idol. I am taking my MCAT and finishing my Prerequisites classes. I am in the midst of career change from Teacher to Medical Field. Thank you for refinding my purpose again!
🙏🏾
As a fellow spine surgeon, good video!
Thank you, doc!
You are a great doctor and RUclipsr. I am currently a sophomore in college who wants to go to medical school. I love your videos because they give me a behind-the-scenes view of the life of a doctor (the pluses and minuses)!
At 4:14 laptop tells the whole story - you can see the hustle and grind it's been put through! Nice video Dr. Webb.
Thank God for spine surgeons. Today I had a procedure on the top of my spine and another one is scheduled for my lumbar. I hope these help elevate my back and leg pain!🤞🏼
@wrinklessprinkles1843, you meant to say alleviate, because "elevate" is to increase, which is NOT what you want
@@newmankidman5763 Correct!
First! I just want you to know that you’ve inspired me so much, i’m currently in my 3rd year of undergrad getting ready to take my MCAT next month
Dr. Webb's Day in the Life of will never get old. Keep them coming. Thank you sir!
Bro you’re very inspirational. Please keep the content coming.

Always an inspiration to me. Whenever my colleagues in med school ask who my role model is, aside Ben Carson, I will just say Dr Antonio Webbs. They will be like, who is that? Curiosity will make them check you out. Thanks man for the inspiration. I will certainly become a spine surgeon like you❤

That intro was pretty cool!

Hey Dr. Webb, how many hours do you work weekly as someone in private practice? Is there an issue keeping a work/family balance? These are all questions that I personally consider when thinking about this career path. Keep up the great work!
I’m not even in the medical field but these are still fun to watch 😂
This is one incredible man!!!!
Thank you!!
You are so inspirational.
Thank you for these beautiful video's.
Thank you for sharing Doctor and for all that you do. Really interesting to watch a Day in the Life of different careers/ roles. 👏👏

You are so welcome!
🤝 no words needed.
Always appreciate the physical therapy shoutouts :)
So proud of you brother
Your video came across my feed. Glad it did. Do you plan to expand your practice to other states? I am in the DC area
I watched another video about the different types of jobs doctors can have. This video was cool because it showed a side of the profession rarely seen. I'd be interested in a video if you were able to interview people in different areas (e.g. private practice, hospital employed, academics, etc) just to hear what those doctors like and don't like about their career paths.
Thanks for the feedback and watching. I have a series called, Careers in medicine where I’ve interviewed various medical
professionals who discuss this. You can find that playlist here:

very inspirational
Dr. Webb you can’t be driving around in a dirty “Lac” come on man lol 😂 much love Doc 💪🏿
Humble Dr
Great to see a black doctor!
That intro went unfathomably hard ngl
Very inspiring
Awesomeness
So inspirational except I’m going for radiology
Good content
Two observations:
1. Bro’s pants are a lil too tight/short
2. The handwriting is crazzyyy 😂
Wow this is a great vlog
Thank you!!
Do you know Dr. McCurdy Cardwell? Emergency surgeon in San Antonio and my cousin! In his early 30s
He is an emergency medicine doctor. Not a surgeon.
@@nova9672 you an are incorrect. He is a trained surgeon.
I guess the correct title would be a trauma surgeon.
@@dwcardwell144trauma surgeon and emergency doctor are different. Both cool :)
Did he say 15 years of school!!!! I went crazy with 4 years of college.
Dr. Web would you do cervical fusion and laminectonies without doing assessment with a patient.
As a spine surgeon do you read the spine MRIs of your patients or do you just review the imaging findings in the report from the radiologist? Do you read the images in accordance to the disc disease nomenclature as outlined in the 2014 recommendations from the American Society of Spine Radiology, American Society of Neuroradiology and American Spine Society. As a spine surgeon, what do you like to see in the reports from the radiologist to help with the management of your patients?
Dr. You said it and described it perfectly. My back has failed me twice and the pain was undescribable. I would just look at the nurces when they asked what is your pain level from one through ten. Ten being the worst pain. I'm thinking fifteen. The kinda pain that makes you want to just kill yourself too make it stop. Horrible pain that you can't imagine or describe. I would always tell people I wish I could give you my pain for just a few minutes. Let's see how you describe it. Keep up the good work doctor.
Thanks for sharing!
Forget lebron, Michael Jordan, Messi, Ronaldo, Tiger Woods, djokovic, Federer, Nadal, Dr Antonio Webb is the goat
Hahaha in the Medical Field
hello doctor, I have a question, but can the spinal surgery robot only place screws? and another thing, in your opinion, with a robot for spinal surgery will it make this surgery almost automatic? Sorry for my English but I follow you from Italy, and I don't speak the language so I used Google Translate.
definitely an inspiration especially as a black man
👊🏽
Love the Star Trek reference, but medical is blue/teal; engineering is yellow! 😀
I know they flip patients over for spine surgeries but I had a vision of a spine surgeon working under the bed like a car mechanic 😂
😂
As a spine surgeon, are 100% of the cases you see spine cases now? Or do you still get called on other orthopedic cases like trauma with arms or legs?
I think I have an anterior calcified herniated thoracic disc at t9t10. I can't find info anywhere. Rare?
Hello sir! can I ask a question? can a person with mild thoracic levoscoliosis like me can do weight lifting? thanks
Hey doctor webb hard is getting good enough grades to get into med school if you aren’t that good at math? and exactly how much math is involved in mcat testing and med school prerequisites curriculum.

We using this baby until the wheels fall off!!! ‼️
Cool to know that even a spine surgeon is hunching over his laptop 🤣
