I am one of the nurses that works with Dr. Webb. I enjoy working with him! He communicates with his team! He always checks in at the beginning of the day to see if we have questions or concerns. This makes days smoother if the team can anticipate his needs. The less I run for supplies during cases the more I am present in the room. I can text him my questions and concerns, and I can keep him posted on what's going on regarding operating room times, patient issues, etc. An approachable surgeon is always appreciated as a nurse. I am honored to be a part of this team and hospital.
I've been following you since I was in high school, first aspiring to become a Doctor. Now I am a 2nd year medical student and I am still just as inspired seeing your videos. It's amazing what you do. The sacrifices can be daunting but you persevere and help so many people.
My sister is an RN burn nurse. She's back in school going for her Nurse Practitioner. She is my real life hero. I watched her preform CPR on a family member and brought them back. I respect everyone in the medical community!
As a nightshift nurse, I appreciate how respectful you are to those who need to call you...I wish all docs who are ON CALL would be more thankful for us who love to work nights, instead of treating us like we're a bother when they're admitting chronic pain patients that THEY performed surgery on. Love this! As someone who works in the emergency department, I really appreciate videos that humanize healthcare professionals and give us a peek into how each individual tries their best to manage a demanding work schedule while maintaining an active personal life.
Seeing and hearing about a doctor that takes the time to communicate with his team is amazing! I have worked with some doctors that didnt do this and it made it much harder on the team to work as efficiently as possible. I am a Dietitian and practicing APC that works in a few high acuity settings one being a pediatric center and I primarily have Tube Feed and TPN patients so having a doctor that is attentive and available is amazing for me and our team to get the best care to our patients! Big kudos to you doc!

Dr. Webb, what you guys do, nurses, doctors, entire medical staff is amazing. I had a laminectomy and discectomy L4L5 back in January 2023 due to herniated disc. So far it's been a mixed bag as some days are better than others but working closely with my surgeon to hopefully gain good long term results. Just wanted to send out a kudos to you and all the folks that sacrifice so much in your personal lives to care for us. Be well. 😊
I have been watching you for years Dr.Webb and it is heartwarming to see how far you have come. The Day in the Life video covered a little of everything and I enjoyed how you showed a balance of life and work. Thank you for the content and for keeping the flame alive for others like me who are on our road to become physicians.
I’m astounded by the technology used during the operations. Doctors and surgeons need to learn so much more these days, I imagine. Not only basic surgery, but also how to use the technology. This surgeon was so calm and laid back. I’m sure this is good for his patients and staff. Thanks for posting. Fascinating stuff!
I admire Dr's like this not just because of the skill, but it must take a lot of nerve and bravery to specialize on a part of the body that delicate. The smallest mistake could result in even worse pain for the patient.
I’ve been an X-ray technologist and have been working in a hospital for a little over a year now helping out in all kinds of orthopedic and spine cases. It still amazes me how similar all hospitals/ORs look
I had anterior + posterior multi-level lumbar fusion this past December at KU by an orthopedic spine surgeon. I watched every video I could find before it but don’t remember seeing yours. It was one of the most humbling meetings of my life, and after that, there's a very high bar for people who impress me. Most celebrities just aren't that interesting right? I’m a post grad medical intern from the Philippines and an aspirant cardio thoracic surgeon in the next 8 to 9 years.Dr. Webb, your RUclips contents are very reflective of the true life of medical doctors especially those of surgeons including you.I do have a huge respect to a doctor like you who make huge sacrifices to bring the best service and medical interventions possible for their patients.I would say that you are very passionate on the work you do as a spine surgeon and you deserve all the gratifications you get from your patients from the best care you give to them and of course for the so much hardwork you gave to your medical studies/training for you to become one of the best spine surgeons.I see it in your videos that you do have a huge appreciation of everyone in the health care team including the nurse practitioners who work hand in hand with you..I would say that your guiding principle when it comes to your profession of being a doctor is “sacrifice for patient and self gratification from the best feeling in your helping patients”.I’m anticipating for more inspirational videos to come in the next months or weeks in this RUclips channel of yours..
Man! Dr. Webb you keep inspiring me to go back to PA school. I've kinda lost my way working a 9-5. Your videos bring me back into the right direction. Gratification. Thank you!
can't even explain how excited I was to see this thumbnail pop up on my home screen. Dr. Webb, you are a major reason why I started my RUclips channel. I've been watching your videos since 2016 when I was a junior in undergrad. Although I'm in dental school now after switching from pre-med, I can't even describe how important your videos were in keeping me inspired when I was younger and encouraging me to stay on my path. Now I wanna do what you did for me, for younger students interested in dentistry. I'm forever indebted to you and your channel.
I have a very terrible disc herniation in my lower right side, failed PT, Failed Pain Medication, and I now have a back Injection which is helping drastically! Zero pain, although it was slowly healing by itself already. Watched this to better understand some things in my spine! Appreciate it!
I was an operating room nurse for 34 years, mainly in orthopedics and neurosurgery. The Neuro doctors were unpleasant to work with. Just wanted to say that I like your demeanor and the way to talk to everyone without yelling! God bless!
Your videos continue to actually help me be a better Physical Therapist, because I am usually seeing your demographic of patients either right before or right after their surgeries. Improving my understanding of what happens during the actual surgery helps me educate my patients better on their situations, and provide more directed interventions to help them with their pain.
Wow! Amazing. I have been along for your journey for many years. I am soooo proud of you! Oh and you said the procedure was fun! We have very different perceptions of fun 😂. You are blessed to have found your calling! Oh and your wife is amazing too! She’s patient and holding down the fort!!! Keep going!!!
Thank you and was is so very wonderful to see you working in the OR and the great patient outcomes. I was with Depuy Spine R&D for 10 years and loved every minute. Retired a while back, after going to Ethicon to make sutures and Dermabond. Love seeing your videos they gave me a smile. Take care and God bless
By the time some of these patients become candidates for spine surgery, they have tried literally everything. Spine surgery is a very high-risk surgery. Thank you for letting us see how the miracle happens. And coming from someone who had cervical nerve pain from MVA, I know how good it feels to finally be free from that nagging pain. Thank you for helping bring back joy into people's lives.
It's absolutely wild how far medicine has come, even in the last 30-40 years. The stuff that these doctors, surgeons can do to fix us humans is crazy to think of.

Much love and go after your dreams guys cause it hurts to much not too.. ❤❤❤
It's not over brother, Jesus can open those doors for you, if God created you to be a Doctor, then ask God for Guidance. Be what God created you to Be. In one of Dr. Webb's videos he talked about being rejected many times when he applied to Medical School but that he kept applying, he talked about him failing tests but all those setbacks he took as a learning experience & he said he was grateful for them because it made him who he is today. Amen!!!
Yup. I've had the lateral interbody fusion when the five level fusion (L1-L5) had one location that didn't heal correctly. Recovery was as good as could be expected, but not absolutely perfect. The first surgery was a laminectomy with bilateral foraminotomy. Glad I had access to the technology when I needed it.
I’m hoping to see a specialist next week about my issue. Been having pain numbness weakness down my right leg and somewhat down my left leg for the last year.
Awesome! As a benefactor of two spine surgeries, l4-l5 micro discectomy and c4-c7 fusion, I really appreciate this. I am now facing another surgery only this time it is to remove part of my sigmoid colon, and remove a fistula between my colon and bladder. I am not looking forward to this. I have been on a liquid diet for a month while I heal from the last bout of diverticulitis to let the inflammation settle down. I have a colonoscopy in 2 weeks and then he will schedule my surgery hopefully soon thereafter. I just want to get it over with, and hopefully never have to spend weeks in the hospital battling infection again. Wish me luck and send prayers! Thanks Dr. Webb for doing what you do!
I love Dr Webbs videos. I got to know about him 2 years ago and have been following him up through this media. He really inspired me and now I'm a first year medical student in one of the medical schools in Nigeria. Looking forward to be come a spine surgeon in future❤
A general comment. I have followed you for a bit and have learned a good deal. A piece of personal advice is I have had 7 surgeries with 5 surgeons. The first for 2 years never told me I never fused 3-5 vertebrae. He was in Minneapolis. I eventually came back to Fargo surgeon. He was very honest telling all the steps. He was able to repair but needed a bit more and he did not have the expertise. He got me to the Univ of Minn. That dr fixed me up the last way. I was doing fine until I fell out of bed. Had to have surgery again. This surgeon has an attitude and tells you very little. Get a surgeon that talks to you and is honest.
Thank you so much for enduring many of the sacrifices that you and many other doctors have to endure in order for people to receive the best medical treatment available and improve their quality of life overall! God bless!
❤❤❤ I am Ysabel Galvan, my surgery was in December 2022. Thank you Doctor Webb, you made it possible for me to have a better quality of life. I was in a lot of pain and scared and you explained to me patiently and did my hernia surgery with a pinched nerve and put two pins even though I have all the discs worn out, my degenerative case and now I am happy. I will see you very soon. Thank you very much for giving me security. God bless you and your beautiful family.❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏

Any time I watch MD Webb's videos I smile and I've watched his educative and inspiring videos for years now. He is humble, and seems like such a gentleman but most of all he looks like my son who is now in med school:))

Now I wanna do what you did for me, for younger students interested in dentistry. I'm forever indebted to you and your channel.
🙏🏾👊🏽
is medicine hard and would you say dentistry is similarly as hard
We’re all very proud of you Dr. Webb ✊🏾!! Thanks for taking us along in a day in the life!!
I have a very terrible disc herniation in my lower right side, failed PT, Failed Pain Medication, and I now have a back Injection which is helping drastically! Zero pain, although it was slowly healing by itself already. Watched this to better understand some things in my spine!
Appreciate it!
So neat to see behind the scenes. I’ve had two surgeries , one in my neck for severe stenosis. You guys are life savers!
Thank you!
I was an operating room nurse for 34 years, mainly in orthopedics and neurosurgery. The Neuro doctors were unpleasant to work with. Just wanted to say that I like your demeanor and the way to talk to everyone without yelling! God bless!
Dr Webb seems so genuine, what a man
Your videos continue to actually help me be a better Physical Therapist, because I am usually seeing your demographic of patients either right before or right after their surgeries. Improving my understanding of what happens during the actual surgery helps me educate my patients better on their situations, and provide more directed interventions to help them with their pain.
Thank you!!
Same Here. As a PT as well this video is very helpful.
Wow!
I have had 3 major back surgeries. The days you guys put in are an inspiration!
Thank you Dr. Webb for showing us some insight on what you do on a daily basis. Keep inspiring 🔥
Thank you!! 🙏🏾
It's absolutely wild how far medicine has come, even in the last 30-40 years. The stuff that these doctors, surgeons can do to fix us humans is crazy to think of.
I tell my nephew, "there are fake heroes like Spiderman and Superman; then there are real heroes like doctors, scientists and paramedics".
I am in my 4th year of med school and gym sessions everyday before i go to the hospital are one of the best things i introduced in my routine. Benefits are endless. Would reccomend this to everyone.
Whats your age
@@JuanRico-d1b im 23 years old. Still going every day, havent missed a day yet thank God
Just started watching your videos. Great work Dr. I recently broke my wrist and had surgery on it. My doctor did a great job and even as I type this, its amazing what you doctors can do. Thank you again for all your hard work!
Loved this video ! I wish more doctors would do this ! This doctor is EPIC ! Confident, comfortable in his environment, and loves his job !!! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Thank you!!
@@antoniowebbmd very welcome, sir !
Doc, your such a cool guy!!!! Not stocked up, or too proud. Continue helping others and changing lives. God bless you and your family.
I appreciate that! 👊🏽
Your videos always help me when I need a push during a week of classes when I'm feeling a bit sluggish. Keep doing your thing and fighting the good fight! Thank you Dr. Webb!
My spine was literally bent at a 45+ degree angle. After my surgeru i have a 3 degree angle. I have no pain and am feeling great almost 5 years after my surgery. Thanks to my surgeon for saving my pain
❤❤
Those phone calls with your kids especially at that age is hard I be rushing home the days I don’t work late to spend time with mine
I love seeing professionals use video to give their clients and colleagues a better look into what they do and how they handle business. Great Job Dr Webb!!!
I start crying every single time I watch dr webb because he is what I want to be, I even enrolled in Louisville… I didn’t do what I was suppose to do (GrindWise) and now I can’t even look myself in mirror… so to all those who aspire we to do this, go after it with everything u got! For me please…. I haven’t been able to sleep all summer cause I know I prolly won’t ever have the chance to do this type of work….
May the good lord continue to use you to help humanity Dr Webb
I love Dr Webbs videos. I got to know about him 2 years ago and have been following him up through this media. He really inspired me and now I'm a first year medical student in one of the medical schools in Nigeria. Looking forward to be come a spine surgeon in future❤
Appreciate that and good luck!!
Same here Dr
I’m motivated even more to get to interventional cardiology. Dr Webb you are the standard
💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
DON'T DO IT, TOO STRESSFUL
Thanks for letting us look over your shoulder for a time. Blessings and favor.
Great vlog Dr. Webb! The effort you put into these videos does not go unrecognized.
Thanks and noted. Appreciate the comment
What a cool guy. People like this need to be promoted more so kids can see what a successful life they can have if they work hard. Also, flex more than just the range. Let’s see a Dr Webb cribs!! Inspire the youth!
Great idea
This video is important, because it shows those who may be interested in pursuing this career the in fact truth that you would need to be prepared to put your work before time with family.
Phenomenal video! Please continue to do more of these “Day in the Life” 🤗
Have a great day doc.
Doc, you're so awesome! You are literally inspiring and creating a new generation of black physicians and black surgeons. Great work sir!
Loved the protection of privacy but also felt like I was able to get a good understanding of what a day in the life is like 👍🏾
Any time I watch MD Webb's videos I smile and I've watched his educative and inspiring videos for years now. He is humble, and seems like such a gentleman but most of all he looks like my son who is now in med school:))
I have been following you for over 05 years. You are an inspiration to me and my dream is to become a spine surgeon like you. Thanks for the content.
I appreciate that, Clinton. You’re next bro. Keep going👊🏽

Subscribed. Thanks for sharing portions of your day Doc and more importantly, for treating folks with compassion. Looking forward to viewing more of your shows.
Blessings
Thank GOD for you Dr. Webb, you revived my confidence in healthcare.
As a spine surgeon, do you work closely with your patients' neurologists (if there's a neurologic issue like with spinal stenosis)? I imagine there's a lot of crossover.
Hello there Doc. Am a student nurse currently studying in Kenya. Hope to see you one day and work along as a theatre nurse. You are an inspiration.
Great video!!! I've been sharing your videos with my nephew who's an inspiring med student.
God bless you! I was fortunate to find a dedicated surgeon where I live that was able to help me with my back and leg pain!
Good video sir, wow you put in the work, and I thought I had it bad with a office 8-5 technology job, you are inspiring to a lot of people. Tremendous work ethic and care for the patients you care for as well.
