- Sorry it's been so long since my last upload. I recorded this Keane song five years ago, but the singing was awful (even though I had composited three takes and made a bunch of corrections). So, I thought I'd redo it. This bass and vocal are 100% live with no fixes -- painfully obvious in a few spots, but I was determined to get it done.
The bass is an Atlansia Stealth recorded direct. On top are a digital waveform representation of the mix and a frequency spectrum from 20-1000 Hertz. At the bottom are phase-correlation images of the left vs. right channel of the whole mix, and the bass vs. vocal only.

I have known every song that you have done except Possum Kingdom. I loved the song, and listened to your version so many time. When I went to compare yours to the original, I truly enjoy the intonations that come from your naturally deeper voice on many of the words sung more so than whoever the lead singer of the toadies is. I post this as a testament to there existing covers by you that are better than original...but proving the objectivity of that is someone else's job. hehe thanks!

DAMN Eddie, I feel as slow as the children I work with for only now finding out that besides being a comedic genius your also a musician. As one Failed guitarist (a.k.a. bassist) to another, This certainly ain't half assed. In fact it's pretty good. But I just love rough edges. ( except on glas, stones, plastics....etc....well you get my drift anything that can cut you)

You have great taste in music. I wish you weren't so busy or lazy that it takes almost a year in between your videos. I know you started off strong with this channel. I was hoping it would be a sorta relief between secular vids to help you keep a level of consistency when as we all know great ideas are sparse.
