Last weekend we went to see Keane at the O2 in London with our 16 year old and 11 year old daughters who were not even born when this album came out. I myself was only 24 and in the Army. We had a brilliant night. They knew all the words as we always listened to Keane. Music is a beautiful thing, passed from one to another, memories made.

This reminds me of my older brother... who passed away on August 29, 2019. In the morning hours, I woke up at 5:30 in the morning, went to his room to wake him up, but what I found was him having a heart attack while asleep. I called my dad and we tried to revive him but it was too late... and that was the last time he'll be with us... We have so many memories, dreaming together... But then I realized that despite what happened, we all have our own destinies. Goodbye, my brother, I hope you'll always be happy.

This song gives me so much nostalgia. The kind that makes you want to cry...kind of in a happy way though.
I think that's the songs purpose nostalgia is mostly remorse for something you miss in an idealized way. I rhink this song is about ones self and reconnecting with yourself. so the somewhere only 'we' know is yourself.

My fiance and I would dance under the stars listening to this, I lost her in a car crash the year after this came out. I cant help but tear up everytime I hear it, sometimes on purpose.
