Welcome all new Dial the Gate fans this and Gateworld are the best Stargate RUclips channels available and you won't be disappointed from the information and knowledge gained from either of them, they're simply the best! 👍✨
I'm a huge fan of the aurora class ships, and the ancient seed ships. Really cool unique sci fi designs that stand out in my mind. I also love all the wraith ships. The whole organic nature of them was a nice juxtaposition with the ancient designs.
I love the space suit from Destiny in the background. still think its funny it was repurposed from Atlantis though.
Thank you!! I have often wondered about the models and if they would ever be available somewhere!! :-)
it there was aver any ship i'd want it would likely be either a deadalus class/ Aurora class or the asgards O'niel.
preferably an Aurora. :P
Wow 🤩. I saw a guy who actually made a Stargate on RUclips.
Did I hear Tennessee? WHAT?! I live just south of Nashville. If there is any chance of a meet and greet, sign me up=)
And oh, of course, those models are gorgeous. Strikes a chord deep within when I see them.
*#DavidRead** said in another video that he was moving to Nashville TN but we’ll see if and when it happens.*
*Green Gun, what a name. Lol* 😂🤣🤣😆
There can be only one!
Just being able to hold those him your hands has to feel awesome. Beautiful work.
Word has it that Eaglemoss will be making models for Stargate soon.
It's available now for pre-order. I just got mine and it looks good.
Totally Wicked!!!! Hellish to dust
Thank you, David. That was a great insight on how to get Stargate models. Really appreciate it.
This is fantastic, I will be getting a couple of these thank you :)
Very cool!
Is...that Jack O'Neill's house??
*Was wondering that also. Lol* 🤣🤣🤣
Thanks for the info David... oh and David, what are you doing at my cabin?.... restock the fridge with Heineken before you leave..😉
Just ignore the friggin rooster... hahahaha
Eaglemoss is now releasing a series of licensed ships by MGM. Just got my 304
Fantastic models thanks for showing! Of all the Daedalus Class ships, which one is your favourite?
I guess we won't be eating this month
Food’s overrated, anyway
Staring at the cool models will sustain you.
@@DialtheGate I will go into a deep kelnoreem so I can live on for longer
@@martinleopard193 *HaHa that was funny* 😂🤣🤣🤣😆
This was a fantastic video! I can't wait to see whats coming for season 2.
Question - where would one get a replica of a communication stone?
sg1props.com! :)
Part of me wonders if he could vaccuform the BC-304 model, and make proper cast of it? Obviously he would have to remove the antennas, but it would make it easier to replicate it if he wanted.
He could, could he? ;-)
The BC-304 is incredibly good!
Do someone know of at scale ZPM replica ?
There is one in development. Stick around and I will share when available!
@@DialtheGate Thank you David, this is great news because the one's I've found are way beyond my price range of over $1,000 each. They look great but I and most others can't afford those prices.
@@JohnFourtyTwo *There was a guy who belong to the group on Facebook, the group “Stargate Fans” that had them for sale @ $250.00 a peace.*
@@jamesfcarlton6890 Thank you James, that's a much better price! 👍✨
Darren, I'm trying to make an official Lego set of a BC304 a reality, the model I designed is on the Lego Ideas platform
Figures the one I want the most and the one I’ve been searching for longer than I can remember is the customs built one ha. I am about to buy a 3D printer to make my own
3dtech.pro does make them. The resolution obviously won’t be the same but it’s still a good piece they offer.
@@DialtheGate thanks! Checking them out now!
Awesome models! Could you also give some info on your lighted Enterprise model? Keep up the great videos!!
This was also a custom build from a friend. I believe it is a Polar Lights base kit with electronics upgrade.
@@DialtheGate awesome I thought it was the PL kit but wanted to be sure, thanks for the reply and again keep up the great work!!
I also see a Flag Box in the background, as a retired Air Force veteran I was curious what the backstory was on it, thanks again!
FWIW, here are the direct links to the mentioned makers (except Chris Baker):

i bought 3d pros Prometheus like 2 days ago funny you make this video now
He does good work!
@@DialtheGate *OH he does❓ That’s good to hear*
i got the larger destiny from tom paris a while ago, though i was rather disappointed with the significant warping of the model through shipping, it took a lot of effort to get it straight which kinda killed my drive to finish it as yet
I would write him if I were you!
@@DialtheGate I did at the time. They offered to fix or replace it if I sent it back but it took so long to get here and they said they had no idea why it happened so there was no real guarantee it wouldn't come back the same so I just left it
so much cool stuff! Ill have something new for the set ready soon to ;)
Ooh! Can’t wait, Big J Customs!
@@DialtheGate *Wondering that also **#DavidRead*
*Gotta click the Like button like **#JeffDavis** used to say*
#DarrenSumner is that right #DavidRead❓*
@@jamesfcarlton6890 There are some sneak peaks on my instagram ;)
What about the more prop like stuff you have on the shelf? Like the asuran/ancient stun blaster, where did you get that?
From the prop auctions. Those are all screen used.
@@DialtheGate Oh, they probably pretty 'spensive in that case.
I really need to become an actor so I can discreetly walk away with props from set every couple of weeks.
Hey David, thanks for the Update and hope you are well. Knew you were moving, but didn't realize you were moving to Tennessee! What area of the state are you moving to?
North of Nashville!
@@DialtheGate Excellent, I'm just south of town near the Brentwood area. If you need any recommendations from a native Nashvillian, just give a shout.
Does some of those companies have sites? You named a few things, but their was no links. You said Kevin zabo, Are there no sites, or companies where you can order?
I've had mixed results with Amazon & Ebay
This is so cool and all Fan made! But were die you get the Borg Statue and the SGU Spacesuit Statue from?
Those are original costumes. The Borg is from First Contact, and the space suit is one of three built for Stargate Atlantis Season Five and repurposed for Universe.
@@DialtheGate So you got them at an auction?
"Screen used" zat. Does that mean it was actually used on the show? Is the replicator block also from the show set itself?
When is Eaglemoss coming out with their Stargate ships? I heard this month or next. Any other news?
I've been wondering the same thing.
They have it on pre-order now.
*Yeah **#JeffDavis** told me that he emailed you about this.*
*Wish we could have seen **#Darren**’s Satgun. Did I spell that right **#DavidRead**❓*
@@jamesfcarlton6890 *Hi **#James**. Lol* 😆😂🤣🤣
*RAINMAKER❓*
Google Stargate Rainmaker Digital
I still think the destiny is the coolest spaceship in scfi.
Indeed
Wtf
How the f...k did you end up with getting Stargate props from a Hungarian company from the middle of nowhere??? Gotta check this out :)
Greetings, also from Hungary ;)
*I’m hungry to, I need something to eat soon.*
My regards to our mutual postal services for the triumph!
@@DialtheGate *What❓*
@@DialtheGate haha, I wonder which postal service is worse ;)
How come most of the SG model makers are from Europe? Where are the North American fans?
They exist. sg1props.com ; bigjcustomsart.com
@@DialtheGate Nice! Thanks!
Most sci-fi ships I can enjoy as art pieces, and I even have some. But I don't really like any of them as actual ships. EVE Online's ships are the absolute worst. You could build a ship with asymmetrical thrust...but it would require so much complex and active adjustment to make it work, that a ship without such a design aspect would always have a massive advantage. There's also no possible way at all to make it energy efficient. No amount of automation, no matter how perfect, would change that.
.
Star Trek actually is number two on that worst-to-best list, with Robotech at number three, Babylon 5 next, followed by Stargate, then every (original) space game in existence, The Expanse, and so on. Nothing ever makes it to "good" status, so far, anyway.
.
I don't include Star Wars because it's space fantasy, not sci-fi. Plenty of other properties are borderline, but Star Wars just goes too far into impossible bullshit. Much as I love the show Farscape, it goes even farther into off-the-wall bullshit territory...I love the show, but it's not sci-fi. Warhammer 40k isn't even really space fantasy...it's just a circle jerk for psychopaths in a space fantasy skin.
Kind of shows the mentality of MGM as the Stargate rights holder that they have mismanaged the franchise so badly. Fox were left kicking themselves as George Lucas retained the merchandising rights to Star Wars and made huge sums from toys games models etc. Two decades later MGM then choose to do the same, how stupid can you be?
