Maybe. Top Ten I would be down with, but it would be in the latter half of the list. There are just too many great scifi episodes out there so that was a bold statement. A top five list would be very hard for me. I still think In the Pale Moonlight from Star Trek DS9 is my number one, not to mention City on the Edge of Forever from Star Trek TOS, but beyond that there are just so many.
On wormhole extreme I have to thank whoever decided to put all of the outtakes at the end! Mike being confused about 'wait this isn't a real show, but we're shooting it!' was just killing me rolling on the floor laughing!
lol, one of my all time fav ep's of the series's. *(hit's ball through gate) How far away is p3x...?" "Several billion mile's O"Neil" "That's gotta be some kinda record!" Hammond "Col O"Neil! What in hell are you doing!" "In the middle of my back swing Sir!" lol priceless
Just watched Window of Opportunity last night. This episode never gets old. The froot loops scene with Rick's reactions were classic. I guess I figured they shot it once and used the footage over for the episode. Never thought that the cereal was glued to the spoon. Brilliant thinking on David's part.
Absolutely, Dom was an awesome actor/comedian. I remember Peter when he was a young man in a TV series. I've seen his name over the years in the credits, I'm glad he's doing well.
Woo is the funniest episode of any syfy program ever and still make me laugh everytime I watch it. The golf scene "George... on my back swing" 😂😂 can't wait for the repeat of the repeat of the repeat🤭 Thanks so much for take the time to do these David. So extraordinary to get the insight
I love peter. I love listening to him and Gary Jones do commentary for episodes. They are always so funny. Even episodes Gary wasn't in for like atlantis Peter would always grab him for commentary. I guess not everyone did though. I remember , I think it was Inferno for atlantis he said that some of the higher ups or something complained so this was the last commentary of him and Gary and I was so bummed out lol.
Always a joy to watch Peter Deluise on screen,Directing in Wormhole Extreme,or just in uniform hustling guards along under Cheyenne mountain,or taking a call from Pete about cakes or flowers for Carter during a briefing,or many other occasions. Also in my top 5 episodes is WOO,a sad story of love and loss but so much fun at the same time. Jack and T'ealc patiently translating for Daniel, the golf, the pottery, and Jack resigning with Carter in his arms, and then the fond smile of memory at Carter while Jack eats his oatmeal. A favourite episode to make me laugh, great reactions from them all.
Rewatching SG1 and especially O'neill sometimes felt like I was looking at improv theater, like the episodes when he lost his ability to talk/think/etc. still fun
I actually liked that. Made the show more believable like these are real people, not these perfect characters you see everywhere else. Chuckling among themselves at the good jokes, cringing at the bad, felt genuine.
The bike and the golf bits were amongst my favourite parts of that episode... which (of course) is one of my favourite episodes in the series. It was... it was very in the character of O'Neill ❤❤❤ (2 L's!)
It's a magical out with his magical when you see what to do in Anderson eating fruit Loops on this room I need does everything everything in that the window of Opportunity you plays golf on here fantastic every single episode of Stargate SG-1
my favorite episode. maybe one day my husband can meet peter in person, they are related about 12 generations back. some place in italy, their ancestors were brothers.
Don't know exactly how many hours Sam Carter devoted to wanting to recreate that time loop thing so SHE could learn Ancient and other stuff like the Colonel and Teal'c did, but it was alot!
I actually did do this. I had a thought too: Jack could have used one of the loops to say at breakfast, "Sorry, Daniel, I zoned out. Can you repeat that question?" And by the next loop, Daniel wouldn't have known he wasn't actually listening. Knowing Jack, it probably didn't occur to him because he didn't care to begin with but still. XD
current golden age of television.... press X to doubt (what are you watching ? tell me, because asside from the owl house .... i only have animé there isn't a tv show) Peter DeLuise need to make MOAR shows i'm fully convinced that teal'c and O'Neill took some of the loops to learn quite a bit of the ... "goopty goop" and a few skills
I'm pressing X really hard, television is terrible now a days there's hardly anything worth watching and Hollywood seems to have caught the identity politics craze which is ruining everything, but even so The Expanse is a rare case of excellent Sci-Fi.

”In the Middle of my Backswing!”
and
”I lost my son”😢
Those were the 2 lines in that episode which get me the most every time for completely opposite reasons.
Window of Opportunity is not only great, but the best time loop episode of any show, to this day.
Cause and Effect from TNG's 5th season is another great time loop episode
I liked the X-Files take on it too.
I totally agree!!!
Wait until the one tht come out tomorrow.
Xenia episode “Been there, done that!” is a good time loop show.
"I wasn't listening the first time!"
-Jack Oniell
Should've asked him to repeat the question, knowing Daniel would have no clue next loop...
Window of Opportunity is easily one of the top 5 episodes of any sci-fi show, in history 👌 it's 10/10 across the board 👏
Maybe. Top Ten I would be down with, but it would be in the latter half of the list. There are just too many great scifi episodes out there so that was a bold statement. The reveal of the start of Teal'c's start point of the loop in WoO had me laughing to the point of waking up my upstairs neighbour.
On wormhole extreme I have to thank whoever decided to put all of the outtakes at the end! Mike being confused about 'wait this isn't a real show, but we're shooting it!' was just killing me rolling on the floor laughing!
"But we're being paid with real money?!" XD
"In the middle of my back swing!"
I loved Ergo. Your dad was great!
Urgo, but it was one of the best, along with WoO
@@BC-qb1dh lol, I knew I should have looked it up for correct spelling
The whole DeLuise family has given us all so much entertainment.
I thank them all.

That it of the hat killed me. It was like Dom peaking out from Heaven and saying "hi!"
WoO was a great episode. Even Tealc managed to get a few laughable scenes.
My first introduction to Peter and Michael DeLuise was SeaQuest 😁 Having all 4 of them involved in SG-1 is just something special.
We discuss seaQuest in the full interview. He even does Dagwood for me!
Dom was like a laughter/happiness elemental.
Just watched Window of Opportunity last night. This episode never gets old. The froot loops scene with Rick's reactions were classic. I guess I figured they shot it once and used the footage over for the episode. Never thought that the cereal was glued to the spoon. Brilliant thinking on David's part.
I spelled fruit incorrectly on purpose because ground hog day for Jack had him feeling loopy. 🤣🤷♀️
I always loved Dom and Peter is a great Director. Loved his episodes.
I loved the hat. I’m old and a big Dom fan.
Absolutely, Dom was an awesome actor/comedian. I remember Peter when he was a young man in a TV series. I've seen his name over the years in the credits, I'm glad he's doing well.
Window of Opportunity is such fun episode! Definitely a favourite!
Also..."BIGGER!"
Oh and WoO is my favorite of all SG1🥰
How did it take me this long to realize that the fruit loops start the time loop...
WoO was my favourite episode, lol. Just all the humor packed into one episode, lol.

WOW. That is Dom!
WoO is definitely my favorite episode of the entire series, and probably my favorite of all TV shows.
Great interview. Thanks.
OMG that little moment with his Dad's hat! Love his family. So happy he was able to work them into the show.
I love peter. I love listening to him and Gary Jones do commentary for episodes. They are always so funny. Even episodes Gary wasn't in for like atlantis Peter would always grab him for commentary. I,too really enjoy Peter's commentaries. He is such fun.
200 is one of my favorite episodes too.
Oh my goodness, Don's hat and his smile, Thank You
I truly ❤ that Irco was also a favorite of mine because of Don DeLuise, what a funny and sweet man!
Sweet, you got Peter DeLuise on. Been interested in hearing his thoughts for a while. Now if you could get RDJ and Judge on, it'd be really cool.
From humble "Dagger" on Seaquest to successful Director.
Dagwood was such an enjoyable character.
Dagwood was about the best thing to come out of Seaquest S2
Wait, he was Dagwood? Neat.
@@hokutoulrik7345 Yep...IIRC, didn't he work with a brother and his dad at some point on Seaquest? Also... the original 21 Jump Street show..
Superb! Love that keeping dad close. I wanna watch Urgo now.
"BIGGER!" - Perer DeLuise

Peter is amazing and what an absolutely great guest he is!
There is a very similair episode on Dark Matter , loved that aswell
Underrated show. Too bad they canceled it to finish the shitty "Killjoys"

I would think she'd like to recreate that 15 seconds when Jack decides to retire!!!
@@imisstoronto3121 Only if Jack were to ever tell her.
See Xander and yet ANOTHER Demon in Twisting The Hellmouth fanfiction site for Sam's feelings about time loops.
*Great interview with **#Peter** **#David_Read**, **#Thanks**.*
WoO is my 2nd favorite after Lost City Part 1 and 2.
I'm watching Stargate on Comet right now.
Man I recall this one, really though it looked like the actors had a tad more fun with this then planned.
'In the middle of my back swing!'
the thing i loved about the episode was O'neil quitting to kiss Carter..
Magnets!
In the middle of *my backswing*!!!!
How about Callahan’s Crosstime Saloon by Spider Robinson…
My favorite scenes were of Teal'c and the door.
Fun episode.
"WOO" (new acronym, which makes sense in hindsight) is *the* episode you show someone to hook them on Stargate, IMO.
Omg with the hat and the facial, so looked like your dad
Awww...no Seaquest stuff on Peter's side?
Check the full episode. Plenty of seaQuest discussion and memorabilia.
WOO 100%
Sorry, had to pause this interview clip to rewatch WOO

I have one of the last lines in a tattoo "if at first you try try try again
When he put his dad's hat on that family sme came out, the eye twinkling and made me mis Dom!!!
Only one error, Pottery before kissing Sam?. 🧡
How far is Alaris, anyway?
What show did he recommend on Netflix
Palm Springs. It’s a time loop comedy.
It’s pretty good 👍🏻
Palm Springs is on Hulu, not Netflix, at least for me i live in the US if that is a factor.
when he came on you should have played the theme to 21 jump street
Top ;)
Peter is a chip off the old man's block, that's for sure. So many of the mannerisms show through.
I’m sorry… but you REALLY should have started the interview with… “I just wanna know what YOU think”
I miss when it was actually spelt Fruit Loops 😔
