Wow, I almost want to purchase one of these only to send it to Tim pool, so that he could replace his UFO with one of the Stargate ships, because I know he loves stargate, he said so Within his podcast many times.
I really wanted to get those ships, but they dont ship to Portugal...
These models really need some custom painting, not a great finish I must say. I may yet order a Deadalus though. A scale model of Atlantis (preferrably loads larger than the Ha'tak) would be very awesome, I'd definitely pay handsomely for that.
I have the Ha'tak thanks to you! When you first mention these in a past video I ordered the very same day and I had it within a month, it has been on a shell for a while now and it looks IMPRESSIVE! Such detail.

I picked these up as well and was blown away by the Ha'tak. If they keep that level of quantity I would definitely pay for a bit larger Atlantis or Apophis Mothership. Others that I would like is some replicators and Asgard and an X302
An X302 would be sweet!
They better make a Destiny model soon! Next in line of interest for me would be Prometheus, Puddle Jumper, Asgard O'Neill class, Ancient Aurora class... assuming that they can't make an affordable Atlantis model.

Destiny is one of my favorite ships. Such a cool design. But a puddle jumper would be really cool as well.
I think that you just hit the nail on the head: "an affordable Atlantis model". If they had stated on their website that they were starting the tooling for the City of Atlantis, the homebase and galaxy traveling ship of the Lantians. "AT" being the Ancient word for Earth. That just would've been SUCH an ambitious thing to undertake. After all, how big would they have to had made it? And a Wraith Hive ship. Another BIIIG motherhumper. Hundred $ models? $150? $200? This would be getting into the Hero Class of model collecting. Like the outrageous $200-300 for building your own Lightsaber at Disney's Star Wars Galaxy's Edge.
I hope they come out with all the Earth ships like the Apollo, Odyssey plus more.
I mean, the only visible difference of those other 304s to the Daedalus would be the naming, right?

I know they don’t really make these types of models, but I hope they make just the Stargate with DHD. I would get that so quickly. I would get the Stargate from each show!

Yay. I have got all three of them. Ha'tak is amazing. Mine got its own number too : 2342-A/A.
I was not impressed at first with the colours of my Death Glider. Stargate franchise had roughly 3-4 different onscreen colour variants. But this black-grey design is the most common one and it would fit better in a growing model fleet. The plastic stand is a bit weird too as it doesn't hold safely the glider as it can slide out easily.
I hope more will come (like a Jumper, tel'tac, al'kesh, Ancient warship, Ori mothership, Destiny, Atlantis, Wraith dart, Wraith Hive, Biliskner, O'Neill, Loki's ship, Martin's people ship, Grace alien ship, rotating Replicator ship, Anubis' flagship, Apophis' new flagship, Prometheus, Ra's Kheops class ship etc.) I really would like to see the 3 different gates, MW DHD, Ancient chair Ancient drone or a ZPM statue too.
I am wondering how could I find a right size magnet which could hold my Ha'tak ship then it would be able to float or even to spin in air without the plastic stand by an other magnet.
I've noticed that with my Glider stand since recording the video, Akos. It really wants to slip out of there, and a stiff breeze would probably do it. I might try to rig the post very slightly so that it leans back at more of an angle.

I'm sure absolutely no one else will want this ship - probably no one even remembers it except me - but the ship I'd buy if I bought merchandise would be the replicator ship we see at the end of New Order, I believe is the episode - the ship that you see a quick glance of when Fifth reveals Repli-Carter for the first time (not the giant spider ship which is too creepy). This replicator ship is cool-looking and creepy at the same time.
This was the cylindrical ship, wasn't it? I think it had a somewhat jagged looking rear section.

I have had an email alert for that Daedalus ship for more than a year now. All I’m getting is weird newsletters I haven’t consented to and they have sold my email address to A LOT of scammers it seems (I use individual email addresses for every newsletter, email alert etc.)

Well EM just announced this morning that they're shutting down so hate to say but if you want it, scalpers are likely going to be your best bet at this point. 😞

@@schwartzy65 It was actually just announced this morning. I've heard rumors that the issue was the majority of their products being produced In China and with all the lockdowns and everything there, the couldn't even get the products to sell them. I'm subscribed to their Ecto-1 model build, no one in the US has gotten new parts since last October, only excuses and empty promises.
@@magaunac well if true that sucks but why would they even announce and make new products stargate line for example if they are soon out of business?
Been waiting for mine for awhile also. Was told it should ship in June, last email said July. I'll keep waiting. Bigger than I thought it would be.
I know they've been struggling with their shipping provider(s) for a while now, and hopefully it's getting sorted. I think that's why I didn't get a Daedalus: it was supposed to ship last November or December but they were struggling to fulfill orders to many customers.

Just catching up to this, sad thing that Eaglemoss is no more :( they went into administration just a lil bit after this vid came out. I learned about it because of the ecto-1 built from them as we hadn't seen a shipment from them for awhile

Love Stargate love it. Eaglemoss makes good models expensive and you get very little, I mean they could have had the Deathglader canopy open

Are all those white spots (square one's) windows (or rooms that have the lights on)? I wonder how they paint all those. I'm pretty sure they're not hand painted. That would be really time consuming (and I don't think you can hand paint tiny squares like that without stencils... but stencils would be difficult and time consuming too).
Small correction: The deathglider cockpit actually opens - just once, though. ;-)
Somebody said there are seats inside but they can not be seen through the black window. Maybe they were talking about a homemade model before you break your own.
Yes, I can see little seats (with control panels) through the window if I hold it up to the light. But on the shelf the windows are too dark to see inside.

I have quite a few of their Star Trek ships and will probably be adding Stargate also.
A question to ask them is why don't they make them to a scale. The detail is great, but wish they were comparable to each other. Granted the Mother ships and gliders and fighters would need to be a different scales.
it seems like they are individually numbered my Goa'uld ship has "1094-A/A" on it and my death glider has "0615-A/A"

Yep. I just wrote the same. Since the model is so symmetrical if you could attach a magnet at the landing area then it could float in air.
Maybe it would look cool as a miror decoration in a car to if it could be suspended by tiny sewing strings like a Christmas ornament.

My only real complaint is that the ha'tak doesn't have a pel'tak
I have the Daedalus and the Death Glider, and I like them both. The mothership just looks odd to me for some reason, so I didn’t get it. Really want them to make a Prometheus. And a puddle jumper.
I think maybe the only thing I would do different here is paint those round dots dark grey rather than light. They stand out a bit too much.

All the other ship designs will be great, but I personally cannot wait to see and potentially get it for myself if the company does it, is that of Atlantis - although I can see that Atlantis would probably be one of the hardest or most detailed ship design to actually do! I'm definitely keeping my eyes on this! Thanks for the video @GateWorld
Thanks for watching! I imagine if they do Atlantis it either won't be at this scale (and will be much more expensive), or it will be a very simplified and streamlined design that captures the basic shape with several buildings.

@@Platschu That would be ideal. They do different sizes for Star Trek, and Atlantis and Destiny in particular would really benefit from XL models.
@@GateWorldDotNet A Star Trek fan asked EagleMoss at a London based con and they said they were planning 12 different Stargate models. Other resource said only three. We should ask them what is the plan.
They also asked them about the three Stargate models and they replied they will consider them. I believe those ones would look amazing on any bookshelf. But they probably wouldn't be the right scale in comparison to the action figures.
@@GateWorldDotNet Yeah that's what I was thinking, & to be perfectly honest, I wouldn't mind paying that bit more for a more detailed Atlantis at s scale similar to that of the Goa'uld Ha'tak class vessel that you revealed on your video. I'd also love to see the Puddle Jumper as well, again with the detailing, and I'd also like to see the Aurora-class battleship (yes, I'm really into the Ancients lol - what I'd love to have seen as a TV Series was one based on the Ancients, in their time, were we get to see the meeting between the 4 great races, finally getting to meet the Furlings lol - but also see the Ancients explore the Galaxy or Galaxies - I think a series on the Ancients could go on for some time and would be very interesting!) - Oh & I cannot wait to see the Daedalus when you receive it! You're very lucky, & thank you so much for all the content that you provide & all the interviews! Top quality content! Keep up your great work!

Bad news: the company has gone under since this video was released. Still waiting to see if any existing stock is going to make it out of the warehouse.
I really wanted to get them, but they dont ship to some countrys in Europe... in my case, Portugal.
I really wanted the Hatak and when avaiable the Thor ship.
Guys there will be a re-release of these beauties in spring 2024 on master replicas. (at least they have announced it)

Re: the current situation with Eaglemoss, word on the street is they're about to file for administration which is from my understanding the UK equivalent of a Chapter 11 bankruptcy. This doesn't mean they're closing or going out of business, it means they have so many debts, they need to have the courts step in to help them settle those and reorganize the business so they can get back on their feet. It's not great news but there are many businesses who go on to survive filing for a Chapter 11 and do fine once they leave insolvency. So don't everyone think they're dead just yet, it's possible they can still recover from this.

Unless you squint at that ending to "Double Jeopardy" (see our Goof Gate video) a Ha'tak isn't supposed to be built to land on a pyramid. I hope Eaglemoss considers this for the Pyramid Ship base, though!

What's annoying about Eaglemoss is theit limited selection of suitable delivery countries. I live smack-dab in the middle of Europe and couldn't order anything from the European website because my country simply wasn't on the list of countries to deliver to. Some models are sold on Amazon, but they are heavily marked up.
Basically, if I want some good shop models for a reasonable price, I'd have to find someone in Poland whose adress I can send the order to and pay extra to have it sent to me.
So do they make an asgard Daniel Jackson? Or no.

Was lucky enough to see the screen use model in person of Ra's ship as a kid, can't wait to open a little goa'uld ship of my own.
The prometheus battlecruiser looks a mess, definitely feels like it's lacking definition, but the death glider is an ABSOLUTE BEAUTY.
Definitely getting me one of those once I have some spare change. And yeh, I want 3 hataks, 12 death gliders, and a prometheus to set up in some kind of action scene in a cabinet in my mansion on the beach please 😢

It's been a very long while since the last announcement, I'm wondering now if it has less to do with covid and more to do with a pause due to contracts changing with the purchase by Amazon. I certainly hope that is not the case because Stargate has a ton of ships that I would love to have on my shelves

The "Death Glider" looks what could have been the Cylon Raider from Glenn Larson's series. Not Ron Moore's Galactica.

I didn't think to look into the Eaglemoss situation since this video's latest comments came out so I did that recently and apparently the company closed down for good in August 2022. No idea if everyone who ordered their ships got them all or not before the company folded. There is a Star Trek fansite reporting that other companies are trying to take over their Trek ship licenses but I found no stories on what happened to the Stargate ships or if anyone is trying to take over making those.
The last of Eaglemoss's inventory is currently being sold (in biweekly stock drops) by Master Replicas. The last of the Stargate ships went this month, with wave 2. But we're still waiting to hear on who might pick up future manufacturing.

Eaglemoss wants way too much money for their little ships and when there is a problem with your order their customer service is slow and suck, I 3D print my own now it saves alot of moolah and I can make them bigger. they are nice though.
I was really looking forward to getting these ships, but just found out that EM essentially doesn't exist anymore as of sometime early this morning. 😡😡
My hope is that someone else buys them out. Ive got a friend who currently has an order in for a Death Glider... wonder what is gonna happen there.
@@mpittard21 Believe me when I say that a LOT of people are hoping that happens. Especially with their subscription model builds.
@@magaunac I never considered that. Im in Aus and the Aus version of the Eaglemoss store has always been the most empty in choice. Yeah those on subscriptions must hurt but if you paid by card should be fairly easy to stop payments.
@@mpittard21 It's more a matter of being left with part of a giant model kit that you may or may not ever be able to finish now. For example I'm about two thirds of the way through one of the Ecto-1 and if another company doesn't pick it up, I'm left with what amounts to an almost $1000 massive doorstop.

The Ha'tak still bothers me. There are a lot of inconsistency such as flight direction, bridge location, and number of sides. I am convinced it was a running joke.

Hopefully we'll get there! I think Eaglemoss has made some good choices for these first few. I'd like to see an F-302 and a Puddle Jumper before Prometheus. And an Asgard mothership or two!

NGL, these look so bad. I love Stargate, I love some good merch here and there, but IMHO, these just seem so cheap and tacky; Stargate and its fans deserve better. Yikes.
What ? no they are realy nice , I got them both as well and they are of pretty good quality
Seeing them in person I am pretty pleased with these two. (Still reserving judgment on the Daedalus' paint job.) These are $60 display models, and the quality seems to match that. A more refined design and build could easily push these to $150-200, which puts them out of the range of casual buyers like me.
