- Mayor Andre Dickens tweeted that four people were shot in the food court and the building is on lockdown. One of the people shot is believed to be the suspect, according to police.

The contract officers doing security at Peachtree Center are not armed and that's a management decision by the client who selected the winning bid company and wrote the conditions of the contract. And the reason you are only seeing buildings and it's a wide-angle shot is because that is one of the highest concentrations of office buildings in metro Atlanta. Because of the way the buildings are designed and where they are located. It is a very difficult area for helicopter Pilots to fly through due to the variation in Wind coming off or around the buildings

Left the food court and took half a day to celebrate my B Day tomorrow. Prayers to the victims. There were two large conferences. One seemed to be a church conference and the other a police conference. Those elements on top of the regular Downtown crown was a recipe for disaster. Bibles and guns everywhere.
