PSA: Don't Download Procreate for Android

- I've seen a lot of spam trying to trick people into clicking on links to download Procreate for free or for Android. DON'T FALL FOR IT, IT'S A VIRUS. The only safe place to get it is the Apple App Store it's not available for Android at this time.

I'm willing to buy procreate but its only available for ios. I wouldn't mind if it didn't have as many capabilities. Its pretty unfair considering apple charges you for the ipad and the apple pencil. I have an s6 lite and its more than enough for my needs, atm ibispaint does a good job but I hope other android apps adopt procreate features.

That's what they want why do you think they have such a niche market Apple has basically made them self Gucci so it's basically a staple to have one rather than anyone using it for its intended purposes they get these programs an apps better for the digital artist Market because they want you to buy their expensive garbage and I really don't want to call it that because they are good at what they do but their Insidious in so many ways with their products just to make sure you buy more even more so than any other company that there's no way in hell I would ever aligned myself and spend my hard-earned money for their setup
@@lilyrose1581 I still use my android for a lot of stuff like listening to music, but having a iPads honestly pretty nice. The only reason I got one on the first place was for Procreate but I do enjoy how fast it is, and how powerful it is when I play games on it. I wouldn’t call it garbage. There’s stuff about it I don’t like but it’s overall good and I have my android and computer to help with anything.

I might be getting myself an ipad air 4th gen in a few months, and if I get lucky maybe the first gen apple pen, but im 100% getting procreate if i get an apple device.

I remember when I bought a Cintiq companion Hybrid and I was beta testing procreate on iPad. I had a conversation with one of the guys there about Procreate for Android. I said when Wacom made a tablet it really a good place for artists. They were just not interested. They seem to want to keep it exclusively iOS. Now that Wacom don’t do android tablets, and the android Wacom supported tablets aren’t exactly winning anything in the sales department. I just don’t see it happening.

@@malihabatool6028 it's not available for Android, you can't get it. People advertise fake stuff online. Don't get it though because it will give you a virus and won't actually give you procreate, as it doesn't exist for Android
Apple is so creative with their marketing tools.
As you can see, a lot of android user's want apple products because of their *exclusive* items.
This marketing tool is working really well and that tool also enforces the walls of the apple ecosystem.
When you join the apple ecosystem you cant get out, because of all the exclusive offers/apps your gonna lose.
*Mainly why apple users make fun of android users as if they're free*

I mailed the creators and the reply was that I pad Os is their platform and they are not planning to make procreate for android cause they also need to pair the app with the pen which is not possible like the apple pencil 😔

Yeah I wish I could use procreate on my Samsung tablet, it’s sad because I was so excited and I even got a stylus just to get my hopes crushed when I checked the google play store to not see it at all. I guess I just have to stick to ibis paint x and FlipaClip for now.

People who complains that "I wish I cOuLd get ProCreate for android...", "Oh apple has "all" the privileges than android." Ehm, please don't attack me for this but SOME artists forget that you don't need to get a better product or app to make your drawing better. You should be grateful on what you have now, I know that some drawing apps have a lack of tools you need for your drawing but hey, Ibispaint X is good for speed edits, speedpaint, animations and etc.

We 𝗮𝗿𝗲 gratefull. But so many people would agree that procreate is a better app than ibispaintX. But is is not fair only apple users can have it Apple products arn't that good anyway.

I know why...watch Teoh YiChie's video of artist review of iPad Pro vs tabS7+...check the display time stamp. You'll see why Procreate is only for iPads. Procreate is like Final Cut Pro...they will never be outside Apple ecosystem...or they'll suffer the consequence of being pirated like apk files and some features will be copied from it in other apps..Procreate creators don't like that. Procreate wants to secure its future. Procreate said that they have no plans to ever port Procreate to android.
The good thing though is Clip Studio Paint is now in android tablets. But the brushes of Procreate and simplicity without lacking is just way ahead so you can focus on what you create....Gal Shir videos of Procreate are very relaxing though. iPad Pro (esp the 12.9'')+ its aspect ratio+matte screen protector for paper like feel+ Apple pencil with silicon cover for comfort + Color accurate display not available in all Android tablets even AMOLED+ Procreate is just lightyears awesome for creativity for many purposes.
Procreate is about to get even better with 5.2 version. The M1 MiniLED will be lit too esp it has peak brightness up to 1600nits...1000nits is the standard minimum brightness for HDR contents. Great contrast ratio although not perfect black. True in all colors except true perfect black. With color accurate display even on LCD iPad Pros...now the color accuracy will be so much better with miniLED...all artworks will look like the same on iPad as when printed... and all films and photos/videos on websites and apps will look the way the creators intended them to look like.
Damn! I can't wait for Apple pencil 3 with photo sensor that can copy real color of any real world object or if I have color palette...that would make creativity more fun and easier and faster. Apple patented for it last year.
Photo and video uploads are also crisp in iOS like in iPhones and even iPads like using FB messenger and other popular messaging apps due to optimisation...in android phone and tablets, the photos will be heavily compressed when you look at them at the person or group you send them to despite looking crisp on the sender's phone or tablet. Even snapchat and Instagram stories look crisp on iPhones and iPads...esp the 3D FACE ID for snapchat and other AR purposes like Memoji or animoji and LiDAR for ''AR Spaces''.
For sure there are so many advantages of android tablets and phones not available in iPads/iPhones. It depends on the user's priorities and preferences though. For people with money issues and still prefer iPads...there are many affordable 2nd hand iPads and iPad Pros online...but check serial numbers upon meet up.

Reason I didn't get an iPad was apples restrictive os, apples limited repair options (I like to repair my devices myself), and pen with no buttons. I want a procreate on Android tho lmfao
