Man, the reason you are having adhesion problems is because you touch the bed full hand all the time. Every time you touch it, oil from your skin goes to the bed.
I wash my build plate with dishwashing detergent, rinse it in warm water and I dry it with a paper towel - AND I NEVER TOUCH the printing surface after it is clean.
    Nice prints! 🤯

That eccentric nut info is the first I've heard of it in four years of printing. Thanks!

I though the Philips screws on the stepper were for adjusting the voltage? POT screw? steppers should be mounted via pins (press fit)

Looks good. Nice review. The stepper drivers are not screwed down they are press fit. The screw is for adjusting the voltage to the stepper motors. If they are gutless the you can turn it up. If they are hot you can turn it down. DO NOT DO THIS IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING! There are many tutorials on how to do this and if done incorrectly could damage the board or motor.
    Great video. Keep it lit.

Clicked the „Mug“-link and noticed that the original result is not as half as good as yours. Is this real or a pimped version?

I didn't see hotrod...I still gave the video a thumbs up. Just let it be known that it was noticed.

Hello, I'm a new sub, I just got a Photon Mono and have been playing around with it for a couple of weeks with some success and failure (I guess thats just a learning curve). My question is about resin print cleaning, it calls for using 70% rubbing alcohol which can get expensive, is there another solution you would recommend?

Denatured alcohol works great for me. Far cheaper and available everywhere

    WARNING !!!
I have discovered a very serious and potentially highly dangerous flaw with the Fokoos Odin5.
When the ribbon connector that connects to the print head becomes worn over time it can lead to highly erratic temperature readings, for me this lead to thermal runaway with the hotend reaching over 300 degrees centigrade, smoke was pouring out of the print head and this could have lead to a real disaster if I hadn't been in the room when it happened.
Please anyone who reads this help to get the word out there, this is a very serious issue and could possibly lead to tragedy.
Thanks for your time and stay safe.

Oh no, not more ribbon cables! How have these companies not learned from what Artillery did with the Sidewinder?
Looks like the base of the printer and Y extrusions/belt tensioner are basically identical OEM production of the TwoTrees Bluer-style printer design, like the ZYLtech Gear. I think a one-piece design for the housing of the y tensioner would be better, but otherwise the overall design is pretty sound. (minus the ribbon cables!)
One thing I discovered recently is that TwoTrees came up with a proprietary tensioner for the v-slot wheels on the z axis of their Bluer Plus, which now uses springs to kep the wheels pushed up against the extrusions. I just wish they'd put them on the X and Y axis wheels as well!
