My hair is straightened right now but it's the first time I straightened it in 5 months so I think I'm doing pretty good lol. Part of the reason I straighten it at all is because shrinkage makes it hard for me to see if my hair is growing. Love this video💙

Well the blow dry creams I use always have heat protectant in them
Some products have a certain ingredients in them that covers the hair that when heat styling takes place it does not effect the hair shaft since it is being protected. Such as certain types of silicones.
Hey kaice, like you I only straighten my hair maybe once a year. I have the Mane choice hair straighteners and I personally loved it. It has like a fine tooth comb edge which kinda works like the chase method and it also talks to you 😊. Love your videos. Luv from the U.K!
Love your hair! Since I don't use a blow dryer I just make sure to thoroughly moisturize my hair using my favorite leave-in, heat protectant, and Africa's Best Herbal Oil mixed with coconut and olive oil and put it in about 20 flat twists to stretch it. I do have finer hair strands at the nape and front half of my hair, but my hair overall is very dense so I don't really mind my hair being weighed down a little bit. Then when my hair is completely dry the next day I apply a bit more heat protectant just to be safe before flat ironing. I use the Instyler Ionic Styler Pro hot brush/flat iron.

I have 3c and 3b hair and I straighted mine 4 times a year in the winter and fall time. I have no damage at all. I do protein treatment before and after I straighten it and it really helps prevent it

Your hair looks so beautiful! I love your progress so much with your hair. I just straightened my hair myself a few days ago. My hair ended up reverting back after using a faulty shower cap. I just got braids last night though. Luckily I got no heat damage though I was so upset. My hair was only straight for three days I did it for my birthday. 😂😂😂

The fact that i went out and straightened my hair just because i wanted to see if it would look as good as yours , but girl i cant seem to combat the fizz . I used anti fizz shampoo and conditioner a moisturizing deep conditioner and my hair still got fizzy.

i finally got rid of all my chemically processed hair around the beginning of this year, decided to straighten my hair for mothers day used two heat protection sprays (one of which was expensive asf) even used the lowest heat setting possible for the blow dryer and flat iron and STILL got heat damage everywhere besides the lower back left side of my head LMAOOO like how sway how
