i shampoo twice, use a rinse out conditioner & i can skip detangling bc my hair is short now. i deep condition for 30 minutes, rinse it out & moisturize using the LCO method. i try to keep it simple bc i'm already lazy as it is, lol.
Kaice Alea loved the video! what I've been doing lately: shampoo:African black soap or shea moisture curl and shine/ conditioner: OGX tea tree conditioner / deep conditioner: Aussie Moist 3 minute miracle or TGIN honey hair mask for like an hour.. Also I like to mix avocado, tea tree, sweet almond, and Shea oil into all this ❤
Aryce H... hey, yes I think both really helped. I use the sweet almond oil for moisture and the Shea oil to seal. I find that both work well on top of Cantu leave-in conditioner.
my regimen is: 1. pre poo with coconut oil and sleep with it overnight. 2. wet my hair. 3. add African black soap to my scalp.(naptural85 recipe) 4. Deep conditiong with shea moisture JBCO deep treatment masque. 5. Wash out and detangle with Andrélon: Keratin conditioner. 6. Balance my hair with Andrélon: Oil&Care conditioner. And then twist 7: wash out of the twist and let it air dry. 8: Moisturise with cantu shea butter leave in and seal with oil. It's allot but it works for me!
My hair routine is really simple: Co-wash & deep condition every week with trader joe's tea tree tingle and the aussie moist deep conditioner. I only shampoo every other week. I use shea moisture and cantu products to moisturize and shea butter as my sealant. I usually braid my hair after washing and I'll wear it as a braidout for the day and a twisted bun for the rest of the week because I work a lot.
I'm happy and I feel honored to give you the 5000th like. ❤Actually your washing and moisturizing routine is not so much away from my own, when I washed my hair with shampoo and conditioner a continuous way.😀
Love this video. I use to do the MOST to my hair and now I just do what she tells me to do. I wash my hair weekly. Trade Joe's tea tree shampoo and conditioner (to detangle) then a deep condition. Then she prefers a wash a go. If I try to do anything else she gets frustrated. 😂😂 so I just go with it...Wash and Go for life!
I shampoo my hair once a week, I deep condition with the Manuka honey DC then I use Camille rose naturals moisture milk then the eden body works curl defining cream then repeat! And I take the manetabolism pills that has my hair growing super thick and 3/4 of an inch a month ! That might be because I only drink water and I drink at least a 3/4 of a gallon a day !💋love your channel
This was soooo helpful as I am trying to figure out my regimen! I recently bought so many different products to try out to help find which products work best for me! Thanks so much! You're gorgeous Btw 😍
Hi! I just started my natural hair journey about......3 days ago lol.... but I’m determined to stick to it and learn as much as I can....I will just say that I just found your channel and subscribed and you are one of my inspirations for this journey!! Love your videos!
I swear I never hear people talk about the Shea moisture transition milk but that stuff is BOMB. It really changed my hair life. I was fully natural once I started using it and it gives so much moisture. It was a staple of mine for years.
It's the best I love it it really transformed my wash and gos and its a great refresher and it sinks in so fast no flakes aaaaaand using the conditioner of that line as a leave in and seal with oil is perfect
I love your videos! I start with an ACV rinse, condition with shea moisture Jamaican black castor oil strengthen and grow conditioner, and deep condition with shea moisture with Manuka honey hydration hair masque. I then add my kinky curly leave in with some black castor oil!
1. Shampoo with Creme of Nature Argan Oil Shampoo or dandruff shampoo if my scalp is itchy. 2. Condition and Detangle with Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Conditioner. 3. Apply Cantu Leave in in sections. 4. Wash n Go or Twist for a twistout. 5. Use Grapeseed oil to seal in moisture or unravel twists.
my regimen is: wet hair and detangle. wash. deep condition. leave in. moisturizer. cream styler. Shea butter/oil mix. eco styler gel. It kind of sounds like a lot but it works for me.
I remember when I thought developing a hair care regimen would be difficult. When I first went natural I would just shampoo and condition lmao. but then I learned about deep conditioning, then I learned I didn't have to shampoo too often. my regimen is honestly simple, its the shit i do that can sometimes prohibit hair growth like picking my split ends or detangling once a month (when I'm lazy as hell)
Very helpful. I have started my transitioning process for the third time in life. The Aussie Moist & Hello Hydration has been two of my favs thus far. Hopefully this time I can stick it out. TFS love!!!
I like to prepoo sometimes, then I will either shampoo or cowash depending on how dirty my hair is, then I will deep condition and rinse with cold water and use a leave in and oil my scalp
I kinda switch up my routine every couple of months but here's my current. Every two weeks I shampoo with diluted Dr. Bronners Rose Hemp Castile soap then deep condition and detangle with Shea Moisture Deep treatment mask or Nature's Gate Pomegranate Conditioner. Then I use Shea Moisture JBCO leave in and my own homemade hair growth oil to seal. Typically I do a braid out and throughout the week I switch up styles with buns and puffs or redo the braids. I just started cowashing in between wash days but I don't think I like it.
Its really good. I only shampoo my hair with it once every two weeks and its really good at getting rid of any build up that I might have. And it smells great too.
I pre-poo with a regular all natural conditioner (15 to 30 mins) Shampoo with all natural / moisturizing shampoo Deep condition (30mins to 1 hour) LCO method Style ... protein treatments at the end of the month Castor oil / peppermint oil to my scalp when I remember , and during my pre-poo or deep conditioning step and on edges every night .🤗
Ugh content is always A1! But my basic breakdown of my regimen is shampoo 2x through), condition (leave in for 5 mins + detangle), deep condition (detangle some more), put in leave in, moisturizer, style then seal with some oil
i wash my hair every week unless im wearing braids. i always deep condish aftr shampooing. im stil learning my hair aftr 5 yrs being natural. i recently ben doin clay washes wich i luv. im starting a new routine using ayurvedic. wil try that 4 a cupl months n c how it wrks out 4 me. me n my hair has a luv hate relationship n altho it kicks me 2 the curb sumtimes i stil giv it sum luv.
Wow this really helped. Just would love an idea of what products to buy for the LOC/LOC method. I am sure you probably mentioned it in your previous videos.
Just found your channel and I love it! Your videos are very informative and fun to watch. I’m hoping I can put your tips to the test, cuz I’m lowkey lazy when it comes to my hair 😩
One should tell me a proper wash day routine and nature hair care routine of 4c. I am really desturbed and i don't know what to do. Since i am new in nature hair. Thx
man where was this video back when I started???? lol but I think I finally got my routine down: detangle with cheap conditioner/oil mix, alternate between cowash and shampoo each week (one week I cowash, the next week I shampoo. sometimes I tweak it depending on how Della feels. I also tend to wash my hair in halves vs loose) , deep condition every week (protein treat at least once a month), then I do the LCO method--- apply my leave ins, pre dry it some with a soft bonnet dryer and style my hair on semi dry hair , then seal it with a butter or oil based pomade usually I do two or three strand twistouts, I do wash and gos more in the summer. I've also been playing around with flat twists as a protective style & have been looking into getting into wigs . #endofsoapbox lol
What about if you suffer from dandruff? I’ve tried various shampoos but I need one that is kinkie hair friendly as well as tackles dandruff, any thoughts?
shampoo every week conditions deep conditions leave in grease or butter styler hair last for 8 days but i wash on the 7th day ...even if my hair is still fresh looking or feel I won't go pass 7 days
laur laur skip basically mean the product makes it easily for you to detangle your hair. So if a product has good slip that means it's a great detangler
Hello there! I've been coming across a lot of your vids lately and I must say that I am really impressed - very enjoyable! You are so cute, informative and poised! Loves it - subscribed!!! 👌💖😘👑🌟
Type 4 hair routine Monthly: Prepoo/detangle-Aussie moist Cleanse- She Moisture JBCO shampoo Deep Condition-SheaMoisture intensive hydration/ sheamoistureJBCO/ main choice length retention mask Leave in-shea moisture JBCO SEAL- jojoba oil Weekly: Cowash-eden body works Deep condition -mielle organics babasu Moisturizer-shea moister extra moisture Seal- jojoba oil *eco styler and Camille rose almond Jai twisting butter are great styles*
Hi I am new to starting a natural hair care regime, but I have watched the whole series, and it's been really informative, so thank you! Could you please clarify between the three conditioners? So you use a conditioner to detangle, then you use another one to deep condition (as in leave in for hours to allow heat? then wash out), then you use another conditioner for protein treatment once in awhile. So do you need two different conditioners to detangle and leave in? Also in your part 2 of essential oils you mentioned that you will share your 3 favourite mixes...has that been posted or is that coming later? Thanks!
Hey Kaice, I just started watching your videos like 3 months ago and I just fell in love. Your so informative and have helped me w my natural hair cause I feel like you natural hair is so much like mine! Keep doing what you are doing because you are good at and you have helped me. Especially w/ the LOC method! My twist outs always come out great because of that, and get compliments! I do have a question tho out of curiosity. How do you buy so many expensive hair products and your a college student??? Love you girl! ❤️
My hair routine for my wash day is I wash it with some Shea moisture shampoo of choice, condition, deep condition 15-30 Minutes depends on what product I use, then I don't really do leave in I don't feel like I need it so I go into styling with either Shea moisture curl enhancing smoothie or Cantu coconut curling cream I love both and some eco style gel. Coconut oil as needed. I do my hair once a week lately I've been hooked on my braidouts but I also love my wash and go's too😊 Love this video girl!😊💙💕
tmi.. but I sweat from head. All my heat comes through my head. I've been washing my hair every week (or when I feel dirt) do you recommend me to wash every week due to my conditions?
Hi, I have a problem. I can't find the Aussie mega moist or Joes traders tea tree tingle conditioner in the Netherlands and on website's I only can pay with dollars but I only have europe money. What can I do nowe? I really want to try them.
Natural Theresa So she basically says the things that work for her. She also mentions trying different things and see what your hair likes so I would look locally for some natural hair products with good ingredients to try out.

For my wash day routine, I shampoo, condition, deep condition & detangle overnight. The next day I rinse out the deep conditioner, then leave-in, curling smoothie and oil. The LCO method works best for me.
laur laur its when you wash your hair with a conditioner instead of a shampoo. People usually do that because shampoos make their hair super dry. Its a great alternative but you still have to include shampoos in your routine to clarify your hair (like once a month). Hope it was helpful 🙂
Xae Jae Slip..slippery..the feeling a really really good product gives your hair. You're able to practically run your fingers through your hair, or can feel your strands detangle themselves practically! Moisture-y goodness
I want to hear some of your hair routines!! Give a quick summary of yours below because it may help someone else out :)
i shampoo twice, use a rinse out conditioner & i can skip detangling bc my hair is short now. i deep condition for 30 minutes, rinse it out & moisturize using the LCO method. i try to keep it simple bc i'm already lazy as it is, lol.

Aryce H... hey, yes I think both really helped. I use the sweet almond oil for moisture and the Shea oil to seal. I find that both work well on top of Cantu leave-in conditioner.
my regimen is:
1. pre poo with coconut oil and sleep with it overnight.

3. add African black soap to my scalp.(naptural85 recipe)
4. Deep conditiong with shea moisture JBCO deep treatment masque.
5. Wash out and detangle with Andrélon: Keratin conditioner.
6. Balance my hair with Andrélon: Oil&Care conditioner. And then twist
7: wash out of the twist and let it air dry.
8: Moisturise with cantu shea butter leave in and seal with oil.
It's allot but it works for me!
I'm one of those "I've been natural for a long time & I have no idea what I'm doing" 😩😩😩
Me too 😩. Im going to try this.
shannon jones I've been natural my entire life and I'm still figuring it out!
kel 097 😩😩😩 well at least I'm not alone.
Dont worry. It took me three years to figure out what my hair likes. Don't give up☺️
It took me four years to figure it out but now I have it on lock and doing my hair is so pleasant now. Routine is so important
1. Pre-Poo
2. Shampoo
3. Deep Condition and detangle
4. LOC or LCO
5. Style
Restyle with Style Thank you, lol!
Jenny Oyster that is her regimen not what the girl said in the video.

I literally have such a hard time making a regimen and even a harder time keeping up with that regimen.
My hair routine is really simple: Co-wash & deep condition every week with trader joe's tea tree tingle and the aussie moist deep conditioner. I only shampoo every other week. Brittany Jackson I love that one as well.
yup...it's very moisturizing
Brittany Jackson yes that stuff is the business. It's so moisturizing. I never hear about it much either but it is bomb.
It's the best I love it it really transformed my wash and gos and its a great refresher and it sinks in so fast no flakes aaaaaand using the conditioner of that line as a leave in and seal with oil is perfect
Love that stuff but I can't find it in stores anymore. I thought it was discontinued
I love your videos! I start with an ACV rinse, condition with shea moisture Jamaican black castor oil strengthen and grow conditioner, and deep condition with shea moisture with Manuka honey hydration hair masque. I then add my kinky curly leave in with some black castor oil!

Ahhh. Your videos are soooo helpful. I've been natural for a year and 8 months and I still don't have a good regime. I love this curls series ❤️
My mom used to use that hair mayonnaise treatment as a detangler/moisturizer when I was little omg.
my regimen is: wet hair and detangle. wash. deep condition. leave in. moisturizer. cream styler. Shea butter/oil mix. eco styler gel. It kind of sounds like a lot but it works for me.
Thats what I do too
Love Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie!
I remember when I thought developing a hair care regimen would be difficult. When I first went natural I would just shampoo and condition lmao.

Its really good. I only shampoo my hair with it once every two weeks and its really good at getting rid of any build up that I might have. And it smells great too.
I pre-poo with a regular all natural conditioner (15 to 30 mins)

Imma subscribe before watching cause she cute 😂😘😘 after two BCs and now my hair is suffering. So, back to basic
What about if you suffer from dandruff? I’ve tried various shampoos but I need one that is kinkie hair friendly as well as tackles dandruff, any thoughts?
shampoo every week
conditions
deep conditions
leave in
grease or butter
styler
hair last for 8 days but i wash on the 7th day ...even if my hair is still fresh looking or feel I won't go pass 7 days
What can you say about Auntie Jackies's products?
can you go over or make a video..on natural hair words and what they mean...when they say slip "this sampoo doesnt have slip" what does that mean?
laur laur skip basically mean the product makes it easily for you to detangle your hair. So if a product has good slip that means it's a great detangler
yessss. im always xcited wen i hear that bell. #smashedthelikebutton👇 so gorgeous😍. hair is life.

you shampoo your hair once a month then co wash weekly?
Mecheã Lewis Yes
is it more effective than using it every week? thank you :)
Mecheã Lewis if you don't use heavy products it's very effective. If you use heavy products it may not work because you may have a lot of build up
Thank you again :)
I love the series thank you so much for sharing I’m new at curly hair and this series it’s been so helpful
Very helpful. Thanks for sharing 🙂
your shrinkage is so relllll
Your curls look so great

Hey Kaice, I just started watching your videos like 3 months ago and I just fell in love.
You're so beautiful!
Swear your curls give me life
Nice video kaice
Hey Im currently dealing with protein overload and I have zero clue of what to I was wondering if you had some suggestions?
p.s: I have a mixture of 3c 4a kinda between low & high porosity
AjJaree find products that have no protein in them. Buy moisturizing products
For my wash day routine, I shampoo, condition, deep condition & detangle overnight. The next day I rinse out the deep conditioner, then leave-in, curling smoothie and oil. The LCO method works best for me.
what is a cowash? washing with a conditioner ?
laur laur its when you wash your hair with a conditioner instead of a shampoo. People usually do that because shampoos make their hair super dry. Its a great alternative but you still have to include shampoos in your routine to clarify your hair (like once a month). Hope it was helpful 🙂
ana rose thank you :)
tu est magnifique 😘 😘💞💋
So pretty ! Love your videos
You're so pretty
New subbie!!!
there are dudes watching this too girlllll!!! but great video!
what does slip mean??
Xae Jae Slip..slippery..the feeling a really really good product gives your hair. You're able to practically run your fingers through your hair, or can feel your strands detangle themselves practically! Moisture-y goodness
She talks soooo much. A mouthful. But it's very informative. 🙂
I prepoo with aloe vera
Shampoo
Acv rinse
