I have, on occasion, thought "hey, wouldnt it be neat to make drift a retool of Springer?" So it wasn't incredibly shocking to see that someone else had thought that.
I went to my first conventions starting last year. I went to TFCon Chicago in October and Los Angeles in March. If you've never been to a transformers con, you owe it to yourself to go. It was an amazing time. I wish I could do that every month. You really need to go to one soon. There were a lot of voice actors there, which I find the best part of he conventions. Next one in Los Angeles is the 40th anniversary, it's probably going to be the best one ever. The voice actors from the G1 cartoon are not getting any younger.
@@PerspectiveEnd You really should. If you are a transformers fan, which I suspect you may be, you will not regret it, have an amazing time, and kick yourself for not having gone sooner. If Transformers were a drug, going to TFCon is like mainlining it for 2 days straight.
I really love the arms being that far apart tbh, it actually seems really cool to me. It might be my first masterpiece combiner I pick up Oh. And the tidal wave is my absolute DREAM he was one of my favorite toys as a kid
I wouldn't sleep on Metagate simply because they made that awesome Terrorsaur a while back. Their stuff is weird in interesting ways, but I'm interested to see where they wind up going.

Personally, I hope to make a color scheme based on that toy that was released for Transformers 5. I don't know why, but the Cybertron toy looked really good in blue... I'm probably just a weirdo. 11:34 personally, I've given some thought into the master builder UT stuff and while I still adore the fuck out of the figures, I feel like they're better as replacements for the original toys than they are for representations for the characters. They do just about everything the original toys do, have a very toyetic aesthetic... but man, after the legacy prime and Megatron dropped... it's almost like a falling out of love. They're still good figures that make me nostalgic for a simpler time, but...Legacy's cheaper and looks so much more accurate...I'd still say the MB stuff is worth if you just wanna have old-school Chonk and Gimmicks in a modern design philosophy.
The company does love their repaints for sure. Yeah I don't know why they went with their own style, when I'd honestly say it was an inferior one to begin with.
Leadfoot was the Blue and Yellow mirage repaint, and Stalker (the one you assumed was g2) is actually a G1 predator toy, released in the Euro G1 line that eventually got renamed G2 to match with the US lines

I've always been a bit iffy with third party, especially when I got naval commander and it's quality was a little atrocious but MAN they're beautiful to look at But man that Optimus Primal is not for me. I'm a really big fan of the character but even I think that out of place head and weird gorilla mode is just so bizarre

The "Little Bee" is just a bad design. It's so bad that it just misses the mark by a whole solar system. "Sexy Transformers" is already weird, but that face is just... what the hell. It's flesh-colored. And the stuff hanging off the body is just... Like, bees have abdomens, they could probably fold up bits of the car there. I don't really like the whole "generic fembot body type" especially when 3P companies take it to 11, but there's so many better ways that could have been done. Literally 1/2 to 2/3rds of the work has already been done, because the design language of Bumblebee's doors becoming wings is pretty established. That thing doesn't look "cute" or "sexy", it just looks like a dumpster fire waiting to happen. How anyone involved see that and say "yeah let's go with that, that's the best we can do" because this design isn't even half-assed. It's not even a quarter-assed. It probably has more sculpting put into its ass than the development process did. How is Earthrise Arcee despised while stuff like that- which are design-wise the same sort of "just tuck the robot under the car shell but worse"- gets a pass?

Kotobukiya recently showed the image and prototype for Bishoujo of Starscream (who is now an anime girl twice) but now there are just repaints of Skywarp and Thundercracker with different faces. And these statues are like $150 each because Hasbro licensing is making these cost more than usual! Wanna bet they're gonna pull a Coronation Starscream as either an event exclusive like Nemesis Prime or like Takara did with Masterpieces to get the coronation gear?
I think studio 01 seed is going to probably get different figures with different paint jobs like how cell did So who knows. Maybe there might be color schemes that might befit the all mighty primus. But only time will tell
Id much rather have seen Maketoys re-release Dirge with the flight stand. As imperfect as it is (and it's VERY imperfect) they've probably got the best Coneheads out there. And with Ramjet and Thrust just having been released, it'd be great for them to have the full set available.
Dr.Wu is really shaping up the Magnus and wheeljack repaints look really good. MMC stuff coming out is odd but like a good odd, but why another devastator like MMC is good but we have a crazy amount Fanshobby stuff is also nice Tidal wave will be interesting to see once done and the huntsman G2 colours make brain go brrrrr. As for the official G2 grimlock it looked good but needs more stripes like on the arms or Dino neck cause they do look a little plain
Fanstoys didn't finish their Menasor or their Superion because the designer quit. He got mad they were price gouging on their figures, so he bailed and started Robot Paradise. Fanstoys then bullied stores by threatening to refuse to sell to them if they carried Robot Paradise products. A new designer had to take the prototypes and reverse engineer them, figuring out how to make the combinations work,
Is that why apparently their Transformations got better recently? REALLY! Robot Paradise is not FT under a different name, but the old Designer? Who knew that FT was just Toyworld/Zeta from an alternate reality.

Okay, time to share my take on this: Primus - Oof, yeah, that's plain ugly. Even if I had no idea who this is, the look of it is just not worth it. Fem!Bee - On one hand, I am admittedly a horny bastard. On the other... NOOO, vhy would you do this?! I would like a genderbent version of a classic character, but not like this ya lasy imbeciles! Aerialbots - Seriously, if I get RM1 for every time a 3rd party fucks up these guys, I'll have RM2.50 MixMaster - FINALLY, someone decides to incorporate the cement drum into the robot design. (Rotf doesn't count)
that metagate nemesis is a repaint of an already existing optimus they made, yes, is about deluxe size, so...yeah, legends scale their aoe drift is truly a masterpiece, its transformation is complex yet intuitive and smooth, both car and robot modes are almost flawless, and then they also added an helicopter mode because drift had one in aoe, is not as successful and its design is 50/50 loved and hated, but is a bonus at that point

To explain why Bludgeon has an orange bugatti as a vehicle mode, MetaGate is repurposing their mold of Age of Extinction Drift. This would be the 3rd time they've done it (the second time being when they changed his colors from blue to red for his look in The Last Knight.)

Metagate is a 3rd party company thats been around for at least a little bit, since i know ive seen a few more prototypes from them, that legends nemesis is a repaint from their normal BB movie prime, and the bludgeon is a retool from their drift so I guess they're doing that now

I never been to a Convention Period. I think you are right about that dude being Leadfoot. Well the trouble here is that I don't know what problem you are running into. The Partner Program only pays once a month on the 21st I think, and you have to have your videos have Monetization enabled. So if you have all that, and you've set up your adsense account properly, then you should probably just check the adsense account, and it should tell you if there are any errors.
In regards to the MakeToys seekers, that’s kinda the only thing they can produce. If you haven’t heard of the Mass Toys incident, they were basically using one of MakeToys’s factories to work on a crowdfund but turned tails and ran off with the money and some of MakeToys’s money and they haven’t been able to recover since ESPECIALLY after the Wei Jiang thing happened. Their Seekers are basically the only thing that’s coming close to keeping them afloat
As someone who watched all of Armada I can tell you now: Overload is only remembered as a toy, he was in the show but had no character in the most literal sense.
I missed out my country’s convention so I snagged Legacy Skyquake as a compensation prize which while a good figure, I kinda hoped to attend so I could see old Tf Merch again. The nostalgia is unbeatable. Ik SDCC is a huge thing but I ain’t Gucci enough to travel AND buy shit just yet, so I wish I got to attend. Oh well, just means I can save for cosplay, guess I can get my Calliope Mori wig sooner rather than later, then hopefully next week finish my RWBY fit
I've seen the Newage sludge and yes can confirm not the head. I was okay with the bee's initial shots til I saw the fuckign backpack holy shit. the IF mirage mould is weird. Every IF toy is very unique and stylize, but it's just mirage. I'm glad they redid the Eris head, the sculpt and paint was pretty haunting.
i feel like mmc might have dropped the ball on devy, especially since it seems like they've done the incorrect thing every devy usually does of making it so the treads are part of his shoulders and not part of his chest (which in the g1 cartoon his treads are part of his chest and separate from the arms) as well as just spacing out the shoulders way way too much which makes me sad to say that UW/CW devy still might keep its crown as the most g1 accurate devastator that is big (toyworld isn't even g1 its studio ox so it doesn't count) which is fucking shocking that hasbro/takara have achieved that even with the weird mixmaster truck cab which is easily fixed with a 3d printer
I'm excited for not ever getting any of this stuff. Maybe when a 3rd party company starts making toys that rival hasbro prices, I'll consider. But until then...
I'm happy I ended up not buying Toyworld Constructor, with MMC I'll have well enough money to buy the latest realeses, best G1 Devastator in my opinion so far.
I don't like Fanshobby, I have heard people saying their material or design isn't good. But most of all, they are the only company with the audacity to charge way more than Fans Toys.
There are very few Hasbro toys that I would even consider buying, IDK why there is a segment that is that die hard on them. Hasbro, drops the ball constantly.
I disagree, I criticize them more than most, infact I have a reputation of being unpleasable because I'm so harsh on them, but I'd say they have more hits than misses. And hands down while I love 3P and collect a TON of the stuff, I'd probably give my top 3 "most satisfaction Granting purchases" to Hasbro. Perhaps that's because they take the shot gun approach, so they have a lot of misses and near hits, but that also means that they strike true every year too.

I don't know that the MMC Female Megatron will be able to hold the Starsaber. Her hands are designed very differently than the figures meant to wield it.
I actually haven't been able to break my habbit of trying to Respond to every comment yet, so I still do read all of them. And yes I do plan on getting the MS Combaticons too, I'm just waiting for a better release of them, because I've heard bad things about the QC on the first few.

The Metagate Drift actually has quite the smooth conversion between robot and car considering it's their first high end figure and it's a triple changer... but the helicopter is nonsense. I've got lucky cat's Megazord and Bumblebee. I've held both in my hand at the same time. I can not believe they were made by the same company. Not for anything bad, but the Megazord is just so much more simplistic. Bumblebee is based on Cyber Era's Bumblebee which had a god awful transformation that was finnicky, unfun, un memorable, and destroyed the paint. So the fact it's now the size of my thumb and has none of those issues fucking astounds me. I just don't get how it's mostly working the same and yet working so much better. That being said it's still complex enough that I don't question why it doesn't turn into a cube because about half the engineering on the Megazord was to turn it into a bunch of cubes; and if it did it wouldn't be in scale with the other cubes. Imagine they did an 07 Optimus that does turn into a cube, and the plastic box thing is decoed like the Alspark. My inner child would be so happy it's unreal. Lucky Cat definitely seems like the company to follow for just... everything.
I have seen people say that about them. I've gotten their Terrorsaur, and their Shatter, and they are both very good. I got that Megazord too, it's pretty good, though I wish it were like 20% bigger. I heard about that Bumblebee, and yeah I heard it was real good. Why would Optimus turn into a Cube? Oh are they the guys who do the Cube Transformers?

Remember when Planet X made High Moon figures? Pepperidge Farms remembers. I guess they made the FOC Dinobots and they sold really well so their motto now is "We only make dinobots, no matter how ugly or non existent." Which is sad, but will also be hillarious if they blow through all dinobots from every continuity with the movie ones last and they still end up making a full set of AOE Dinobots before Hasbro even makes a second one.
I don't know why they think it's a good idea to make the IDW ones. 3 of the IDW Dinobots are Horribly lame, and one of them is basically a figure they already made.

Technically speaking they already made all the IDW Dinobots; since, like many IDW characters, they swapped over to the high moon games for a bit. Because one of the most infuriating things about IDW was how it's art and design style would entirely change to associate it with whatever big thing is out around the time, which not only largely robbed the series of it's own identity every couple years, but also made things confusing. Cause the Dinobots had the High Moon designs for a bit, but then around the same time they made comics tying FoC to Prime and the Dinobots looked the same there, which means it was really easy to cross continuities and be completely confused. Almost like having a bunch of unconnected congruently running storylines with almost identical character designs across them all is a bad thing. I have to spend an hour explaining to someone the minute surface styling and engineering differences between ROTB, Siege, Earthrise, Cyberverse, and Reactivate Prime so they stop looking at me like I'm a crazy idiot for buying what appears to be the same thing over and over again. But when I show them Haslab Omega Prime, Armada, G.E., Animated, and RotF Jetpower Primes they're like "Okay I see, those are all different things, I can see why you'd want them all."
They don't sell him Complete, only one figure at a time. They keep rereleasing it, so if you go through ShowZ or TFsource you should be able to find them new, relatively regularly.

The "Little Bee" is just a bad design. It's so bad that it just misses the mark by a whole solar system. "Sexy Transformers" is already weird, but that face is just... what the hell. It's flesh-colored.
And the stuff hanging off the body is just...
Like, bees have abdomens, they could probably fold up bits of the car there. I don't really like the whole "generic fembot body type" especially when 3P companies take it to 11, but there's so many better ways that could have been done. Literally 1/2 to 2/3rds of the work has already been done, because the design language of Bumblebee's doors becoming wings is pretty established.
That thing doesn't look "cute" or "sexy", it just looks like a dumpster fire waiting to happen. How anyone involved see that and say "yeah let's go with that, that's the best we can do" because this design isn't even half-assed. It's not even a quarter-assed. It probably has more sculpting put into its ass than the development process did.
How is Earthrise Arcee despised while stuff like that- which are design-wise the same sort of "just tuck the robot under the car shell but worse"- gets a pass?

Kotobukiya recently showed the image and prototype for Bishoujo of Starscream (who is now an anime girl twice) but now there are just repaints of Skywarp and Thundercracker with different faces. And these statues are like $150 each because Hasbro licensing is making these cost more than usual! Wanna bet they're gonna pull a Coronation Starscream as either an event exclusive like Nemesis Prime or like Takara did with Masterpieces to get the coronation gear?
I think studio 01 seed is going to probably get different figures with different paint jobs like how cell did

Id much rather have seen Maketoys re-release Dirge with the flight stand. As imperfect as it is (and it's VERY imperfect) they've probably got the best Coneheads out there. And with Ramjet and Thrust just having been released, it'd be great for them to have the full set available.

He got mad they were price gouging on their figures, so he bailed and started Robot Paradise. Fanstoys then bullied stores by threatening to refuse to sell to them if they carried Robot Paradise products.
A new designer had to take the prototypes and reverse engineer them, figuring out how to make the combinations work,

Okay, time to share my take on this:
Primus - Oof, yeah, that's plain ugly. Even if I had no idea who this is, the look of it is just not worth it.
Fem!Bee - On one hand, I am admittedly a horny bastard. On the other... NOOO, vhy would you do this?! I would like a genderbent version of a classic character, but not like this ya lasy imbeciles!
Aerialbots - Seriously, if I get RM1 for every time a 3rd party fucks up these guys, I'll have RM2.50
MixMaster - FINALLY, someone decides to incorporate the cement drum into the robot design. (Rotf doesn't count)

ROTF constructicons were neat imo and the second time the constructicons got a major redesign that made them all unique
that metagate nemesis is a repaint of an already existing optimus they made, yes, is about deluxe size, so...yeah, legends scale
their aoe drift is truly a masterpiece, its transformation is complex yet intuitive and smooth, both car and robot modes are almost flawless, and then they also added an helicopter mode because drift had one in aoe, is not as successful and its design is 50/50 loved and hated, but is a bonus at that point
It actually surprises me to hear that the transformation on that Drift isn't a Nightmare.

To explain why Bludgeon has an orange bugatti as a vehicle mode, MetaGate is repurposing their mold of Age of Extinction Drift. This would be the 3rd time they've done it (the second time being when they changed his colors from blue to red for his look in The Last Knight.)

Well the trouble here is that I don't know what problem you are running into. The Partner Program only pays once a month on the 21st I think, and you have to have your videos have Monetization enabled.
So if you have all that, and you've set up your adsense account properly, then you should probably just check the adsense account, and it should tell you if there are any errors.
In regards to the MakeToys seekers, that’s kinda the only thing they can produce. If you haven’t heard of the Mass Toys incident, they were basically using one of MakeToys’s factories to work on a crowdfund but turned tails and ran off with the money and some of MakeToys’s money and they haven’t been able to recover since ESPECIALLY after the Wei Jiang thing happened. Their Seekers are basically the only thing that’s coming close to keeping them afloat

I've seen the Newage sludge and yes can confirm not the head. I was okay with the bee's initial shots til I saw the fuckign backpack holy shit. the IF mirage mould is weird. Every IF toy is very unique and stylize, but it's just mirage. I'm glad they redid the Eris head, the sculpt and paint was pretty haunting.

i feel like mmc might have dropped the ball on devy, especially since it seems like they've done the incorrect thing every devy usually does of making it so the treads are part of his shoulders and not part of his chest (which in the g1 cartoon his treads are part of his chest and separate from the arms) as well as just spacing out the shoulders way way too much which makes me sad to say that UW/CW devy still might keep its crown as the most g1 accurate devastator that is big (toyworld isn't even g1 its studio ox so it doesn't count) which is fucking shocking that hasbro/takara have achieved that even with the weird mixmaster truck cab which is easily fixed with a 3d printer

The Metagate Drift actually has quite the smooth conversion between robot and car considering it's their first high end figure and it's a triple changer... but the helicopter is nonsense.
I've got lucky cat's Megazord and Bumblebee. I've held both in my hand at the same time. I can not believe they were made by the same company. Not for anything bad, but the Megazord is just so much more simplistic.
Bumblebee is based on Cyber Era's Bumblebee which had a god awful transformation that was finnicky, unfun, un memorable, and destroyed the paint. So the fact it's now the size of my thumb and has none of those issues fucking astounds me. I just don't get how it's mostly working the same and yet working so much better. That being said it's still complex enough that I don't question why it doesn't turn into a cube because about half the engineering on the Megazord was to turn it into a bunch of cubes; and if it did it wouldn't be in scale with the other cubes.
Imagine they did an 07 Optimus that does turn into a cube, and the plastic box thing is decoed like the Alspark. My inner child would be so happy it's unreal. Lucky Cat definitely seems like the company to follow for just... everything.

I guess they made the FOC Dinobots and they sold really well so their motto now is "We only make dinobots, no matter how ugly or non existent." Which is sad, but will also be hillarious if they blow through all dinobots from every continuity with the movie ones last and they still end up making a full set of AOE Dinobots before Hasbro even makes a second one.
I don't know why they think it's a good idea to make the IDW ones. 3 of the IDW Dinobots are Horribly lame, and one of them is basically a figure they already made.

Sorry about being late to the party here but I had to take a powder from your content.
Technically speaking they already made all the IDW Dinobots; since, like many IDW characters, they swapped over to the high moon games for a bit. Because one of the most infuriating things about IDW was how it's art and design style would entirely change to associate it with whatever big thing is out around the time, which not only largely robbed the series of it's own identity every couple years, but also made things confusing.
Cause the Dinobots had the High Moon designs for a bit, but then around the same time they made comics tying FoC to Prime and the Dinobots looked the same there, which means it was really easy to cross continuities and be completely confused. Almost like having a bunch of unconnected congruently running storylines with almost identical character designs across them all is a bad thing.
I have to spend an hour explaining to someone the minute surface styling and engineering differences between ROTB, Siege, Earthrise, Cyberverse, and Reactivate Prime so they stop looking at me like I'm a crazy idiot for buying what appears to be the same thing over and over again. But when I show them Haslab Omega Prime, Armada, G.E., Animated, and RotF Jetpower Primes they're like "Okay I see, those are all different things, I can see why you'd want them all."
When do you plan on making the prime roast? Also I don't care is the plastic looks brittle, that bludgeon looks sick!

They don't sell him Complete, only one figure at a time. They keep rereleasing it, so if you go through ShowZ or TFsource you should be able to find them new, relatively regularly.
