Highway Patrol cars have ANPR and can detect unlicensed owners and cars automatically.

@Coral Springs Public Safety Given their popularity and wide audience, it is *critical* that these videos only include *accurate* information. Officer Vara-Valderrama was slightly incorrect @03:16 when he explained the nature of the citations. A 30mph citation requires a mandatory court appearance but it is a civil traffic offense and *not* a misdemeanor. Also, if the driver was cited with Driving While License Suspended Without Knowledge 322.34(1), that too is just a civil traffic infraction and not a misdemeanor. Finally, Florida courts cannot issue warrants for missing court on civil traffic offenses. If the driver doesn't appear in court, his license will be suspended (again) but he doesn't face the risk of an arrest warrant. Thank you for making these videos as they display the great work of CSPD and provide an outlet to educate viewers of Florids traffic laws.
Nice video, Best to get a Laser & Radar jammer when traveling though there. I know they work on the Interstates as they connect them to the speed cameras.

Yes, the laws and how they are enforced varies drastically across the US. Each level of government here will define thier own rules and have thier own law enforcement department. City, county, state and federal. Yes, it's confusing and impossible to keep track of, especially when traveling between states. That's why you see officers give a lot of warnings instead of strict enforcement. State police are typically the least forgiving. City police are a close second. County police (Sheriff department), which is where Frank is, are typically more lenient because the top man is elected by voters. All other levels of law enforcement are appointed or hired.

Im so happy he got a ticket for not using his turn signal. It’s a phenomenon in FL. People with a college degree more likely to use it. English as a second language less likely.
Going 70 vs 45... you might save maybe 1 or 2 minutes on your trip...if you're already late, what is one or two more minutes? But you get yanked and you just added 30 minutes to your trip. Also instead of saying you were in a hurry, just say you tend to have a lead foot and you're trying to improve your habits. Police tend to respect honest answers over bullsh1ttery

I haven't been in the police for some 27 years but as Fed we had government buildings and airports as our patch.
Make it simple. Just impound the vehicle. Arrogance and Entitlement is out of control.
100% he knew his license was suspended and still driving his friends car like an a..hole and passing a cop like he’s sleepy joe and above the law .
Exactly, he knew it was suspended. So if you knew it was suspended, why you breaking traffic laws? LOL! Also, I would be soooo scared to drive on a suspended license because even if there's no accident, you might need to report something and your license would be required for the report. We know our license is expired, we're sent the documents in the mail
Good job, Officer. Straight talking.
Thanks for serving our country in the United States Army!
The first car going 95 also never used the blinker changing lanes!!!
Has there been an episode where rain isn’t involved? lol.
The sunshine state isn't so sunny in the summer 😂
Good to see people getting tickets instead of warnings and some mandatory court dates. Hit em in the pocket book and the inconvenience for them.
First guy didn't use turn signal either. Thought officer was going to call that out, but didn’t.
Good work!
Happy 4 th of July !
FL drivers appear to be very aggressive! The police officer handles himself in a very professional manner.
Its all over the country. Not just Florida. This is what happens when we no longer enforce.
He gave no warning went ham on tickets
@Coral Springs Public Safety
Given their popularity and wide audience, it is *critical* that these videos only include *accurate* information.
“I’ll drive the speed limit. But if I’m late for something, watch out cause I’m gonna start driving 20+ mph over the limit!”
Some people really just throw all good behavior and rationality out the window the moment they feel they’re going to be late for something.
Of course he knows there’s a Dunkin Donuts at that exit lol
This officer has a very cool demeanor..
The Honda was NOT doing Uber. She has a 2-door coupe and Uber only approves 4-door vehicles. Maybe she was looking for her Uber so that she doesn't drive to wherever she's going, but doing Uber, nope lol
Uber eats
Texas doesn't require registration in vehicle & officer can check insurance
I think I’ve been pulled over by this officer before. I was speeding and got a warning because he knew my mom. Respectable and polite officer.
Woops, Range Rover got their LP blasted. Love it.
Happy 4th of July! Be safe out there. 💙💙💙
🔥🔥🔥
Speeding in wet weather conditions because you're late to a birthday party? And not a single clown joke was made? That's some admirable self-restraint from the officer. I guess he didn't want to make a circus of things. Either way, she should learn to juggle her responsibilities better...
Classic there is a donut shop lol.
Okay so in Florida if you want a vehicle and you don't have insurance it will suspend your license even if your sits in the driveway? Do you got to mark it in storage or something ? What if you don't own a car?
It’s tied to plates. You can return your plates and then let your car sit on your driveway with no insurance as long as you like.
buy and register the car in a state that doesn't have mandated insurance.
I always use my turn signal, and because of the car I drive, everyone around me uses them too 😂
They usually dont ask for registration here as running the plate shows the owner info.
Hey from north Iowa
👋🏻 hello!
I’m waiting for the “ I blame my cruise control excuse “. Uh, Officer my car was speeding, I tried to stop it honest… please take it to car jail😂
I saw you yesterday on Atlantic and I did an illegal U turn and sped up to try and wave hi. I’m J/K I did see you though. Be safe.
He is definitely all business. Deputy Sloup is all business too, while being entertaining. I'm almost sure that when Deputy Sloup writes a ticket, the person receiving the ticket feels good about it.
there is no valid excuse for speeding. I love how they always say I'm running late or have to be somewhere.
My wife is giving birth?
@@JobberJimYou knew that was going to happen for 9 months so you had plenty of time to plan!! 😂😂
@@ryanm4013 ok fair enough, how about i just got stabbed an im bleeding out and need a hospital? Dude said no valid excuse so im just playing devils advocate
@@JobberJim wouldnt calling 911 be better than passing out on the road?
So weird that they want paper proof of registration and insurance. My state that comes up attached to the plate -- all they ever want is a drivers license for the operator.
left lane only for passing.
Whine more
I gotta ask is Valderrama from NY too like Frank?
Protect our road crews! He should have charged her with the violation in a work zone. She's driving a Range Rover. She could have handled the 2x fine.
My biggest pet peeve is not using the turn signal.
What is the purpose of the registration card? Can't the officer just run the plate and determine it's registered?
It’s the law. It doesn’t need to make sense to you in order to be valid
someone could have used the plate from a different vehicle. The registration card has the VIN
@@Civ5forlife-td7hy All that info is in the computer. No need for a card.
@@ryanm4013 keep your mouth shut
Comes with the renewal sticker for your tag. It's a legit document pertaining to the privilege of driving. Be responsible...that stuff, including a current...PAID..... insurance card . C'mon people!
Come to us 1. Please!
I now am a little terrified of open trailers after a pickup truck pulling a trailer hit my driver side front quarter panel and dragged me for an entire foot. Almost $5,000 in damages. Thank goodness my insurance put him at fault.
I'm in England but seen a few of these videos. Notice the ones in a different place with a guy called Frank tends to give many more warnings than I see on this one. Is that down to different rules in different area ?? See here in the UK the police are the police wherever you go. Same rules.
Frank is kind of a clown.
Could just be two different content creators wanting to show things differently? 🤷♂️
Range rover entitlement...
she knew exactly why she got pulled over . She was too important to wait in the long line like everyone else ! She must do this all the time at that light .......
What do you mean?
Im so happy he got a ticket for not using his turn signal. It’s a phenomenon in FL. People with a college degree more likely to use it. English as a second language less likely.
Going 70 vs 45... you might save maybe 1 or 2 minutes on your trip...if you're already late, what is one or two more minutes? But you get yanked and you just added 30 minutes to your trip.
Also instead of saying you were in a hurry, just say you tend to have a lead foot and you're trying to improve your habits. Police tend to respect honest answers over bullsh1ttery
If you are running late then just call someone to tell them you will be late and then drive safely and legally.
These cars are marked units right? If so, it's unbelievable to me that people are seeing them but flying past them 20 mph or more over the limit
They don't care. I guarantee it.
not marked
it’s an unmark
these excessive speed violations ( 20 + mph over the speed limit ) should be mandatory tow and / or arrest
That's too much exaggeration
Officer discretion.
Does he ever give warnings?
i always say alive and late or dead and never make it
Could he not fix the FR issue via the internet on his phone and have a valid license immediately?
Well he would need to go the DMV or call to figure out what the financial responsibility suspension is before he could pay anything
Even if its your husband's car, you should always have the documents ready just in case. I'm driving my friend's car while she's out of the country and I got the registration for the glove compartment.
You don't even stop in time with an all wheel vehicle? If you mean awd vehicle, that still doesn't make you stop faster.
I will admit I’m not sure where my registration is. But it’s not super important because I don’t speed or tailgate and I use my turn signals. Thus I have no interaction with any Florida police.
Officer Word Salad reporting for duty!
Yeah, they have to EXPLAIN everything because stupid people driving a $75K car don't know what any of their required documents look like. Sad.
Having to listen to someone jabber on and on as legitimately a good punishment
