You can but you can ask for a REDUCTION too. Instead of just getting off, ask for the excess speed to be reduced from maybe 20 over to 15 over or something.
I’d argue the first thing not to do is ask for a warning. You get a warning if you deserve a warning. Most likely if you’re polite and have a good record.
thanks for not letting drivers like this off... they won't change unless it hits their pocket book. please tow their cars if they have no car insurance. Its not fair to drivers that follow the driving rules.
@noteworthyinsignificance That's just the way a standard issue BMW cruise control works. They always go to 105 mph when you first activate them. If you want to go slower, you have to reduce the setting. But what kind of BMW driver would want that?
@@noteworthyinsignificance He was probably lying, but it theoretically could be true with adaptive cruise control. If you set adaptive cruise control to 105mph, and are in traffic, it will slow down, but then speed back up when a lane is clear. Still no excuse to set it that high.

Plus, the guy put a '22 sticker on there when it was expired for 5yrs. Wonder where he got the sticker from. Maybe stole it off someone else's car
no, the car should not be towed because of lack of insurance. In fact, mandated insurance is legalized extortion. He had a valid license and should have been allowed to drive off.
The 3x speeder cracked me up, but the officer was super kind to her even though she's not taking it seriously with her speed. As for the guy who drove 5yrs on no insurance and expired tags, geesh - I get being behind maybe by 5 or 10 days, but don't drive the car during the day if you know the car is not supposed to be on the road. I'm too afraid to drive the car when anything lapses by 1-day because it would be my luck to be pulled over, although I don't personally have a habit of being pulled over
Most professional officer I've ever seen. God Bless you sir. Thank you for doing THE job. I just saw a video where the driver was speeding more than 20 over the limit. Then argued that the officer should go after real criminals...drug dealers. I hate when people say that. Police have a job today. Those assigned to traffic enforcement, enforce traffic laws....and do their best to keep us safe. We (citizens that drive) know the rules. We get away with breaking them A LOT. On the rare chance we get caught, "cowboy up" and accept what's coming. Again...God Bless the police
In Oregon if you’re going 100 mph or above it’s a $1,150 presumptive fine and if you’re found guilty it’s a mandatory 90 day license suspension. Also for the no insurance guy, Oregon would’ve taken his car to car jail.
Same here in California, they need to stop more people with the tint. If I remember correctly in the old days they would make you peel it off right then and there, but I guess now they just give you a ticket and people just pay it and wait till they get pulled over again and rinse and repeat. They should make you bring your car to a local police station of some kind to prove/show that you actually took the tint off your car.

Cool information concerning window tint. I never realized there could be a medical reason for dark window tint. As a nurse i know the medical reasons. I just never thought of the medical application.

I like how you explained the window tint exemptions. I was wondering why I see police cars in Florida with darker tint than is typically legal. I'm glad my current car didn't have tint on it when I got it, so I was able to get 30% all around except for the windshield, and stay 100% legal.
I wish more departments would willingly film themselves like this. Between Fridays with frank, and traffic Thursdays, it really makes me want a career in law enforcement. Thanks for that! You are a fabulous officer, doing good work, and doing your job correctly. Thank you for that.
Amazing this is so great! I love he is giving citations for no turn signals and passing in the slow lane! These are major problems in Florida. Almost nobody uses turn signals and everyone seems to pass in the slow lane.

You don't go from 88 to 105 on cruise control 😂 that's for damn sure. I had a Jeep Cherokee and the adaptive cruise was disabled for speeds of 100 and over.
Corolla drivers are literally the worst drivers!! Holy hell it's awful here in Kissimmee. Cops don't care about tint here though, 5% all day long lol. It's honestly just where you are if they care. Small towns they may care but bigger cities they don't have time to worry about tint. I would put money on that corolla being driven right back to the home after the officer left lol.
Same. I called my local PD about an incident of a red light runner that almost smashed into me, and they asked if I was okay, any damage? Okay, good to go. That's Boston for you. Plus, once someone leaves a part of Boston, they're often long gone. Thank God for my dash cam
Actually cruise control can do this on newer cars. I recently rented a Ford Expedition that would randomly heavily accelerate and jump my set cruise control speed up 20mph. I couldn't figure what the heck was happening. Turns out it automatically adjusted for what it thought the posted speed limit was. So if you set the cruise control at 55 and that was 10mph over the speed limit (45) and then it thought the speed limit for that road (via gps) changed to 65 down the road, it would adjust your cruise control to stay 10mph above that and set it to 75mph! At one point it jumped my speed from 68 to 88mph!! I caught it right away and turned off the cruise, the gps speed was super inaccurate. I thought "this thing is going to get me a ticket and who is ever going to believe me, that it was the cruise control"😂 now you all know its a real thing
the fines need to increase exponentially for each additional speeding ticket within 3 years. Clearly that last person isn't learning. 4 in one year should be a 30 day license suspension.
I think the window tint in the back should be as dark as you want it to be because nobody questions you about sight obstructions if you're driving a van , box truck or a camper.

Miami/Dade/Broward, and Palm Beach Counties are all very lax on traffic enforcement and it shows with the criminal lack of responsibility shown by these drivers with their driving habits.
