    • @stratfordbaby
      @stratfordbaby 4 месяца назад +4

      You can but you can ask for a REDUCTION too. Instead of just getting off, ask for the excess speed to be reduced from maybe 20 over to 15 over or something.

    The 3x speeder cracked me up, but the officer was super kind to her even though she's not taking it seriously with her speed. As for the guy who drove 5yrs on no insurance and expired tags, geesh - I get being behind maybe by 5 or 10 days, but don't drive the car during the day if you know the car is not supposed to be on the road. I'm too afraid to drive the car when anything lapses by 1-day because it would be my luck to be pulled over, although I don't personally have a habit of being pulled over

    Actually cruise control can do this on newer cars. I recently rented a Ford Expedition that would randomly heavily accelerate and jump my set cruise control speed up 20mph. I couldn't figure what the heck was happening. Turns out it automatically adjusted for what it thought the posted speed limit was. So if you set the cruise control at 55 and that was 10mph over the speed limit (45) and then it thought the speed limit for that road (via gps) changed to 65 down the road, it would adjust your cruise control to stay 10mph above that and set it to 75mph! At one point it jumped my speed from 68 to 88mph!! I caught it right away and turned off the cruise, the gps speed was super inaccurate. I thought "this thing is going to get me a ticket and who is ever going to believe me, that it was the cruise control"😂 now you all know its a real thing

    I think the window tint in the back should be as dark as you want it to be because nobody questions you about sight obstructions if you're driving a van , box truck or a camper.

    I'm glad I live in Sarasota, where they don't bother with "too dark" tint. We live in FL man, it's damn hot out 99% of the year.
    Also, that chick in the Tesla 100% knew the tint wasn't legal.

    Having driven the roads of SE Florida for decades, I can tell you this kind of driving (103MPH) on any highway is not uncommon in this part of the state. Miami/Dade/Broward, and Palm Beach Counties are all very lax on traffic enforcement and it shows with the criminal lack of responsibility shown by these drivers with their driving habits.

    It amazes me how many states allow people going 30+ over get away with a fine or court appearance.
    Here in NY, that rate of speed can result in your immediate arrest and tow, and our court surcharges are often just as high as the fine amount.
    Even if you aren’t arrested in the spot, you can still get jail time and license suspension is required for certain rates of speed.

    I find an interesting that some states you can't have any tint on front 3 (70% light transmission, thats normal auto glass) but rear you can have as dark as you want

      Tint stops most of the time is legal excuse check for other violations. When travel across state lines have vary levels allowed and because legal where you normally drive does not supersede the laws of the state your in. Most of the time , if your paperwork and DL check out, no warrants, or other factors like drugs or alcohol, they will let you off with a warning. Attitude goes along way too.

    Also most if not all car's cruise control tops out at 80 mph. Guy was full of it.
