      When I got pulled over I tried to ask for a warning, but it was the first time I have been pulled over in like 20 years I'm also one that had all my documents ready for him when he walked up to the car so I was hoping I would catch a break. I also did not challenge anything because I knew I was speeding as I was trying to go around a hooptie car that was going really slow. The officer acted like he didn't hear me when I asked and he just went back and wrote the ticket. I ended up just paying it since it was the first time in 20 years getting one so I said why not.🤷‍♂

    • @gilnorton1
      @gilnorton1 Месяц назад +10

      You still have to pay for the ticket. Some jurisdictions will give you about a 20% reduction, but they are no longer required to do so by law. You also have to pay for driving school, which I think is around $35. But at least you don’t get the points on your license. For some, the increase in insurance rates for aggressive or reckless driving is going to add up to way more than the cost of the ticket. Peace

    • @joshcarter-com
      @joshcarter-com Месяц назад +1

      In Texas, years ago, you didn’t have to pay the ticket if you did traffic school-but you still had to go in front of a judge and ask his permission, and you only had that option once every so many years. I’m not sure if it’s still that way.

    Since dark window tint is so illegal, why not write a fix-it ticket? This way, they are forced to fix it to keep them aligned with state laws and to keep our officers and deputies safe.

    What sucks about this a friend of mine got a ticket there 76 in a 45 & he was from Pennsylvania & only option is to pay it online & no option for traffic school. Later he found out Pennsylvania does not issue violations or points on his record for out of state tickets. He paid it & wrote the ticket off on his taxes there. -Cheers!

    Honestly, if the rental companies are the ones renting out cars with illegal modifications already applied, it should be they who face the penalties. The drivers should only be cited for changes made to the vehicles after the rental agreement has been signed, and it's up to the rental companies to provide supporting evidence of legal exemption from guilt in such cases.

    • @None-ef6nf
      @None-ef6nf Месяц назад

      There is more to that story. Normal, reputable rental companies don't tint windows to illegal levels...indeed, most don't after-market tint the windows at all.
      It would be interesting to see which rental company owns that car, if it is a licensed rental company at all.

A uniden r9 ultra long range radar detection system system, an eight head al priority laser signal shifter, highway radar integration, Waze, a uniden sds100 to monitor DOT and HP radio traffic, a remote controlled plate cover I can control from the cockpit, electronically articulated valves in the exhaust that I can open and close from the cockpit to make my car quiet on the push of a button. And a s58 making 650WHP being put down by an amazing AWD system where I can bias power to the front or rear to control oversteer on my Y rated super sticky Michelin pilot sport 4s tires. I did 150 in a 55 tonight and wasn't nervous at all.

    Bro come up to Kissimmee. People turn left from the straight ahead lanes nonstop so they don't have to wait multiple lights in the correct left turn lanes. Drives me nuts that Kissimmee or Orlando does nothing up here. Lazy cops.
