Good video. Little tip. mark each ridge tile position before removing with a scratch or marker pen so that the gaps remain as before. You then won't need to lay all the tiles back before fitting as you did in the video saving you lots of time. Keep up the good work👍
Should have got all new ridges as half of them was half round and half 3rd round but even rebedding them won't stop the leak as the flat roof needs a lay board and an upstand
Great job super neat as always . Do me a favour though, don’t twizzle round on the very edge of a high roof again . My fingers and toes are still fizzing .
I don't have a you tube page but you are a good teacher, I would stick to that as ridge tiles only cost about 2 quid each and bodging with silicone? Not a messy job you are tidy but your skills need refinement. Customers are tough and price dictates what they want and need, I'm guessing, but 5hrs work sand cement and a tube of silicone and they must have payed no more than 140 sterling. I say this because 25 pound a hour and materials. 200 quid tops! Roof will still fail due to fibre glass flat roof expansion?
Your video encouraged me to repair my roof ridged liles. Thanks
Hang in there! More and more people are watching and subscribing to your channel! You do great work and you explanations are excellent. Thank You!

Good quality work! Thanks for taking the time making and sharing this video.
Thank you for your help. Maybe as a diyer I could do this in the future. Didn't know there was lead sealant. I live and learn.
Looks like you did a great job, as usual. Very thorough and neat. Thanks for the great vlog 👍🏻
My only suggestion is before re laying the ridges wire brush them clean it will make your great work and the new point look even dapper pal

Sorry mate, I’ve been roofing for over forty years and that was a mess

Builders stick to building and roofers stick to roofing is all I can say. Good effort though mate
Ruff with a capital R
Just filled gaps between my ridge tiles with silicone sealant was that a good idea?
Why do you keep the old mortar underneath the newly refitted ridges? Does it serve a particular purpose?
Will watch more of your work as I think you are going to do well in the future after personal growth 😊 not having a dig. Work hard on your refinement.
Keep it up, we all need work, if you and your customer's are happy it's all good.
Thanks man. Great advice!

That flat roof is wrong there is no up stand on the back whatsoever. It will always leak through the ridges mortar is not waterproof
I didn’t build it

Nice job.
I had practically the same job done! I paid £1,300. Is that about right?...
That looks like a dry mix? Is dry mix best? Good job btw 👍
It’s not dry but just don’t make it too wet and it can become a mess
Thanks 😊
I would of used leadmate once all dried considering its grp roof 👍
Mint 👍🏻
