It sounds like a very unpleasant experience in a very unpleasant place, but remember, these were the worst people humanity had to offer, forced to be sequestered from the rest of society they're too dangerous for.
@@rxques People do NOT go to prison for no reason. Like Einsam said, this prison holds people who committed the worse ever crimes in the US. I'm talking school shooters, child kidnappers, serial killers and other people that are (probably) impossible to reform, not to mention they need punishment for the horrific crimes they committed.

As a guy from Arkansas, the answer to the question- “How dumb do they grow them down their in Arkansas?” The answer is just right, the scientists down here are doing a great job. Though they haven’t really figured out this “left and right” business you keep talking about, whatever that stuff is.
Military was miserable enough I couldn’t imagine being in prison. Plus you don’t even mention the fact what torment they go through if they feel any remorse for the crime that got them there.

I had the opportunity to go to Alcatraz when I was younger maybe 7/8? I do remember walking around the prison but more so remember the full size Crunch bars my mom had in her purse 😂😩

But if I'm sincerely honest in my humble opinion, without being sentimental, and of course without offending anyone who thinks differently from my direction but rather looking into this serious matter with a perspective distinction and without condemning anyone's point of view, honestly think and feel that I have nothing to say
I really can’t tell where this show is based or who runs what because the narrator speaks perfect English with an American accent and has mentioned that he’s in America now. However some of the words that pop up in the video are spelled wrong or it’s written with improper grammar and one comment they made sounded like it was written by a non-native speaker

They wasent just doing prisoner laundry and uniforms / they was also doing the wardens and guards laundry and their families .. the wardens and guards families literally lived on Alcatraz with the prisoners if they wanted to leave Alcatraz they had to take the ferries to San Fransisco I went to a field trip out there in the 2nd grade
