- Mr. McMahon is one of the greatest characters in television history. The WWE has always had outrageous storylines, but what Vince went through in 2007 was something else. Vince went from getting his head shaved to wearing a durag to "dying". 2007 was a strange time in the WWE and nothing showcases that more than Vince McMahon straight up WILDIN in 2007. So from his feud with Donald Trump to being ECW Champion.. lets go back to the WWE in 2007 and look at the rise and fall of Durag Vince.

I was 8 when this happened & honestly thought nothing of it due to the weird shenanigans constantly happening in WWE as you mentioned at the start, especially with Vinnie Mac himself. It got scrapped obviously due to what else happened, and I moved on with my life. But dude, looking back, what even was this? What the hell kind of storyline has the boss just "die" like that hahah. 8:47 "Kennedy" is vince second name, I'm pretty sure that when Mr Kennedy debut in 2005 or so, they already had a prototypical plan for a illegitimate son storyline, 2005 Mr Kennedy matches are very overlooked, the guy was very talented and they gave him the opportunity even after they had to scrap the death part, but he blow it with his attitude problems, and not getting along with Triple H and Randy Orton backstage didn't help either
It was set up to push Kennedy but he failed the wellness policy so he was let go and they made it hornswogglel

I remember going to the net right away when I saw the limo explode. An hour later, a fan who was at the arena replied to a thread ( I don't remember exactly where) that he saw Mr McMahon leaving the area after the show alive and well. That whole thing was badly executed in my eyes especially with the dream sequences in the mirrors with Vince lol. One thing that til this day bugs my mind is how Vince disappearing act was pull off. I'd like to see how it was done.
i suspect the leg we saw under the door was a fake leg, rigged topull into the car while the door closes, while the leg is just visibly there, Durag was probably going through the limo to the other side, sneaking out and getting out of range of the blast, once hes in a predesignated safespot, they hit the rig that pulls the leg in and closees the door and ignites the bomb after.
Its also possible it was simply a editing trick where they switched to the explosion sudenly

Another thing that would have happened in the Vince Funeral episode was that his brother Roderick McMahon would been there and he would be the opposite of Vince as the nice and lovely person in the family to the roster and there would also be a family feud between Shane and Stephanie against Roderick’s children for future control of the company
