- Groucho once again engaging in his favorite sport on YBYL: humiliating George Fenneman. The moment Groucho heard the young contestant mistake George's name as "Fiddeman", you can tell Groucho knew he'd just struck comic gold.

"Aren't you a married man?"
"Up till now I was, yes. "
LMAO
Grocho and George were a perfect team. Both complimented the other very well.
It's been noted many times before but here is another reason for the success of You Bet Your Life. While YBYL was certainly structured and Groucho stayed within that structure, the chemistry between Groucho and George and their ad-libbing is priceless.
George Fenneman was funny and so handsome.
He was absolutely gorgeous. My father was a waiter in North Hollywood in the 50's and George would often come in for Saturday dinners with this wife. My Dad said George was a great tipper, polite and jaw droppingly handsome.
The one and only Groucho at his finest.
I've never seen this. It's hilarious!
Remember the episode where Groucho had that lady that was crazy in love with Fenneman and she kept swooning and giggling over him? Fenneman was the man.

@@sydneycarton9973 Thanks for the link. I love that episode. Of the 2 Dvd sets for "You Bet Your Life", I have the one that doesn't feature this one.
@@WolverinePete You are welcome, I had just watched it a few minutes before coming to this one. These are additive
Groucho was one of a kind
So what was the story? The clip cut off before George had any chance to explain anything, so now we’ll never know 😏
Groucho is my all time favorite comedian followed by Robin & Jonathan.
Got his start with a part in the movie, "The Thing From Another World."
Highlight clip from a NEW show to be posted soon!
There will never be quality Television as this,,,in this Isle' Earth,,, because episodes of our lives are just that,,,practiced living with an unrehearsed outcome,,,life is not scripted,,, 🤦🤦😭🤔👂😌🙃🤣😍🤗
👍😂Hilarious 😂
Great comedy.....
great ad libs
The close caption is really bad or it's me that I don't understand what they said
Low and a little muffle.
A comedian who didn't need a script unlike the crap today.
Oh Groucho!!!
😀😃😄
George had nothing to do with the ladies being on the show. Before broadcast, it was suggested to them that they mention Fenneman as the reason for their invitation, but the lady mispronounced his name, which is all Groucho needed to have fun.
