I now have a new goal if I discover time travel. I will go back to this time period and get Ernie Kovacs and Groucho Marx to record a podcast together.
Agree. Circa 2010-11 I found two contestants from 1953-54 who were still around. We talked over the phone. Strangely, both were rather dismissive of the whole idea that they were making early TV history. Being in the presence of Groucho, bright lights, and the audience didn't seem to phase both. I tried.

Groucho is my all-time favorite comedian-"You Bet Your Life" was a great showcase for his talents.
Love this show, neat seeing Ernie Kovaks
A great episode. The tall girl was beautiful
Groucho was on fire in this. Good one liners. Hour glassed dress. Must be the early part of the hour.
I was a kid then, people sure have changed!
Yes. They have aged.
