50 guns n roses riffs please!!
Nice vid man, almost as huge as the rammstein one !
Shoulda play more last album's riffs, there are some killers
Btw what's the guitar your using please ?
Nice one. Any chance of a Mastodon one? SOOOOO many great riffs to choose from! 😀😃😀
Sir, which is your favourite? Well done! 👏👏

The fact that Tony Iommi was tuning down to C# in the 70's is something that amazes me
He only did because he injured his fingers and tuning down meant he had to apply less pressure to the fretboard.
@@kakkashi21999 yeah I know. He lost some fingers in an accident he had whilst working. But in a time where 99% of guitar players all tuned to E Standard, Tony's tone really stood out amongst the crowd because of the difference in sound he was getting
@@kakkashi21999 Yeah, a happy coincidence
However, I see a number of bass tabs essentially in Standard tuning. Geezer Butler didn't take advantage of that low end, it seems.
@@gredangeo the bass tabs must be wrong if it's in standard tuning, well just tink in C# standard and you're okay for nearly everything from Masters of Reality to Sabotage.
Into The Void never gets old. That riff was so ahead of its time.
The cover by Exhorder proves it very clear
I think that’s my all time favorite. I used to listen to that in my VW Bug in the early eighties and it’s also the first Tony Iommi riff I learned to play on guitar.
I mean it's a variation on Grieg's in the hall of mountain king, so is it really ahead of it's time?
@@TheFanboyHater Grieg was ahead of his time. Ask Apocalyptica.
@@TheFanboyHater not really, maybe a bit similar
the bad thing about hearing an Iommi riff is that you want to hear the whole song.
or you're listening to something like fairies wear boots and you're like "which one?" because there's like 5 riffs before the lyrics even come in :D
@@AscendWithMeThere's only so much time to listen Tony Iommi in a day. Gotta fit in as many of those riffs as possible
Tony Iommi is a legend. His solos were always great and idiosyncratic to him but what made him stand out was just pumping out constant powerful and catchy riffs. A national acrobat, sweet leaf, and hand of doom are my faves!
Almost the same bro
Listen to his solo in the studio version of “Slipping Away”. It’s short but hard and then Geezer resolves it perfectly. I really dig the way they perfectly blend tension and resolve. It’s very short but one of my all time favorites. I saw Tony Iommi on “That Metal Show”, years ago and he spoke of all the riffs he’s got in his head that he hasn’t laid down yet.
children of the grave has such a legendary riff, love that song to death.
It was used in Brutal Legend for a key moment in the game.
A pop band stole it and made a fortune with it
@@scifiordie which?
Sounds like blondie's Call me and kiss Detroit rock City had a baby
Riffs perfectly fit the time periods when they were created, but all still have that unmistakable Sabbath sound.
it proves that Tony Iommi is the person that makes Black Sabbath the band it is, not any singer
This man never disappoints.
Very true
Je to tak Same, je to frajer
I always love that you always give less popular, underappreciated and overlooked albums and songs the love they deserve
Thank you for playing riffs from every era of Black Sabbath. It goes to show that Tony Iommi is one of the most prolific riff masters in all of rock/metal.
Whether it’s Ozzy or Dio, Gillian, Hughes or Martin- anything with Iommi will leave you with a devilish smile on your face.
The only missing riff I was hoping to hear (but honestly didn't expect) is The Fallen, the unreleased track from the Born Again demos.
except forbidden
I love the fact that you chose several riffs from the Tony Martin era of Sabbath. That era is very underrated, especially Headless Cross
Fn PREACH. The Tony Martin era is indeed underrated.
So true! After Ozzy and Dio, Tong Martin had my favorite voice for Sabbath singers. Nightmare was the first song I heard from that album, and I remember listening to it religiously on vacation on New year's and it just made the whole trip better

NO ELECTRIC FUNERAL
Electric funeral? Spiral architect? Fairies wear boots? Megalomania? Cornucopia? This guy just hates ozzy or something.
Thanks 🤘🤘🏻🤘🏿🤘🏼🤘🏽🤘🏾
Nops 0:00 "what to do" - Vanusa
Simple riffs yet so powerful.
A national acrobat, Snowblind (opening riff) and Supernaut are not that simple man
Send this to a friend who never heard of Black Sabbath, but can't spend time for listening all albums
Tony Iommi, the godfather of metal guitar \m/
What a coincidence. I was just listening to your 50 Led Zeppelin riffs last night. Absolutely incredible, well done. Deep Purple should be next!
algorithm doing its work
@@unspecifiied3627 hahahaha was just gonna say that
"Every cool riff has already been written by Black Sabbath. Anything everyone else does is just basically ripping it off." - Rob Zombie
The only good thing from Zombie .
Born Again had some sick riffs on the album
My reaction to anno mundi going into children of the sea "no fucking way!" That was so awesome dude!
It's a shame 'Falling Off the Edge of the World' wasn't on there. IMO the best riff Iommi ever wrote.
@Josh Tyler you gotta talk about those 3 songs though if you’re talking about sabbath riffs. They’re some of the most memorable, especially paranoid and iron man
Mob Rules is such a damn good album
Also no fairies wear boots, ma gawd what a song
@Josh Tyler or he could have simply ignored the terrible seventh star
Lonely is the word?!?
Enjoyed every second of the video
Under the Sun is one of my favorite songs ever!
Awesome song, has some of Iommi’s best riffs
if black sabbath aren't the fathers of metal music i don't know what is ... such dark sounds right after those happy and colourful sixties ...
Dude I've loved Sabbath since I was a kid but I kinda forget just HOW good they are sometimes since they're such a big name and I'm a hipster like that sometimes but fuck me they're amazing
Welcome back to the world of old school bad ass metal bands
The transition from Anno Mundi to Children of the Sea was so smooth! I think another riff I would add that I didn’t see here would be Electric Funeral.
Sure wish most of the Tony Martin era albums were on Spotify... Love making playlists from these videos. Oh, well. Great stuff as always, dude!
They'll soon be! :D
Tony Iommi is the Riff Lord by excellence.
Tony Iommi, Master of Riffs
Tony Iommi-Father of Metal
Ozzy-Prince of Darkness
IMHO the riffs of “I” and “Falling from the edge of the World” deserved to be here. 🤷🏼♂️
I think that Iced Earth must be next 😉
yea you're right but we are talking about Black Sabbath there are so much riffs that he can do ep.2 of that video :D adding to your opinion, heavy riff on "nightwing" can be added too.
Finally. Tony Iommy is the legend! Thanks Ozzy, Dio, Martin!
I've been waiting for this video for over a year now.
You left out the best Sabbath riff ever written!! Lord Of This World!! I know someone agrees with me
Definitely up there
I am so stoked that you included riffs from The Eternal Idol. Such an underrated album! Great video!
Thank you for covering all Sabbath eras! Tony wrote some amazing riffs in the mid-to-late 80s and the 90s
the seamless transitions between riffs in different keys and tunings is so impressive
It's finally here!!!
Btw Sabbath bloody Sabbath is c# tuning
My favourite Sabbath riffs video on RUclips! Because you cover all eras of the band! Great work and amazing band
50 Annihilator riffs!!!!!!!
Never clicked on a video faster. NECKS GUNNA HURT AFTER THIS
Black Sabbath have one of the best albums in the metal history, but "Heaven and Hell", "Sabotage", "Master of Reality", Vol 4, "Dehumanizer" and "Headless Cross" are just my favourite Sabbath albums. What a band!
Good job with the video! Your playing and your taste are good as always!
Seventh star is actually such an underrated album, Tony's Riffs are awesome
Is it all standard tuning?
I’d love to see you do 50 Soundgarden riffs
50 Mayhem riffs
Much appreciate for adding the Tony Martin era riffs. BS is great in it's entirety , but to be honest - this is my favourite Sabbath Era.
Naming amazing Tony Iommi riffs, you could be here all week, theyre all amazing. Great video man!
Tantos riffs lendários do criador do Heavy metal. E ainda deixou o melhor riff pro final 🤘
You are the definition of a Guitar Hero bro, amazing video! I enjoyed it!
when Motörhead riffs?
Honestly, I really love Motörhead, but I wouldn't be able to put together 50 riffs like this... They are pretty repetetive
Iommi will be forever known as the Riff Master.
My personal favorite is Wheels of Confusion (Volume IV opener).
Everyone forgets country girl, my personal favorite
Whenever i get bored with my playlist, Andrea always come with some underrated metal song i never heard before, keep it up man 🔥

Time to add more sabbath songs to the list
I am lost for words; you are simply the best Andrea and you continue to put great dedication into your playing especially now with the riffs of the Dark Lord of Metal, Tony Iommi. Black Sabbath forever 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Finaly 4 years waiting for this video, thanks men
You did in 11 minutes what it took me 40 years to do in real time.
The opening riff to Killing Yourself to Live is one of my favourite pieces of music ever, tbf most of Sabbath's riffs are some of my favourite pieces ever 🤣👏
My metal brothers, the day has finally come.
Headless Cross, still one of my favourites.
Children of the grave, turn up the night and Killing yourself to live are one of must headbanging riffs ever... simply destroys your neck.
Thanks for including Seventh Star in this. Tony's work on that record was monumental.
No wonder they're my favourite metal band
I like that you've learned to make the album covers transparent when your hand is on the fretboard under it. Nice work. Do you see yourself doing 50 type o negative riffs?
I've been waiting for this moment
Love how you captured the whole essence of their entire career and besides the popular ones, the underrated golds are there as well! Neat job, bro!
Symptom of the Universe‘s riff is a gift from the heavens, my god
That whole song is probably the best
I was looking for a Black Sabbath Collection and just couldn't find a good one and then found this video. Thank you!
Fun fact: the riff for Seventh Star was inspired by Kashmir
I'm at work, stressed out, and randomly wanted to hear a compilation of Iommi riffs, and you provided sir, thank you
I know it isn't "technically" Black Sabbath but the Fear riff off of Heaven and Hell's the Devil You Know is amazing
Devil you Know=Black Sabbath
1:05 I LOVE THAT PROGRESSION
The best part of these videos is it gives a catalog of a band's music
Eternal Idol! Got the dark doom atmosphere with the obscure sequence! Loved the Born Again recognition too!
Ive been waiting for this
absolutely would’ve loved to see loner on here. my favorite track from 13 and one of my favorite sabbath songs.
What we all needed
Finally someone shows some love to the Tony Martin and Glenn Hughs eras of Sabbath! Such an underated series of albums!
another fantastic compilation of classic riffs. thank you :)
As a big Born Again fan the last minute or so was very satisfying
Thanks for playing the Tony Martin era riffs! Headless Cross and Tyr = epic masterpieces!
Boma brought back old video style with old school band :) Thank you for this compilation! I actually checked them like two years ago only because of you!
Iommi, is a total genius. Nobody comes close to him for riffs
I've been waiting for this video for over 4 years, thank you very much !!!
So simple yet so effective
amazing riffs, loved that you put the most iconic one in the end
Amazing job! Thumbs up!
I’ve waited for this video for a very long time.
Amazing as always 🤘
Great vid! I love how you didn't ignore tons of great riffs from later eras of Sabbath!
Sabbath bloody sabbath is in C#
Amazing job, man! Love your tone even more than the original one)
Lord of this world is an underrated riff
I’m quite impressed with how sharp you are on all these bands catalogues, guitar techniques, tunings, etc. Going through all relevant exemples from every era, not only the Ozzy / Dio on this one for exemple.
Well done ! 👍🏻 great channel
I’ve been waiting for you to do this video and I’m not disappointed. Keep up the great work 🤘🏻
These videos never get old. Always love em. Thanks for the badass video man
WONDERFUL MASTERPIECE
I've been waiting to see this who knows for how long and now it's finally here, thanks man!🤘🏼
Every album except Cross Purposes!!! And technically The Devil You Know aswell.
Great video mate, I love your 50 riffs videos
Amazing job, Im glad you include riffs from their whole discography, a lot of people tend to ignore all the non Ozzy material
FINNALY HERE!
