      Donnie Brasco Most genres were made thanks to someone playing something "wrong". Jazz is music played "wrong" but sounding good. Wrongness has no place in music. "But if you don't play it like the original, isn't that considered wrong?" NO! Just because you're not playing it just like the original doesn't mean it's played wrong, just different. If one really thinks that way, then all covers AND I MEAN ALL COVERS are wrong.

    that guy's pretty awesome, he also kind of reminded me just how great Metallica's songs are, i mean i've been listening to quiet a few of their songs again recently so i'm aware of how great they are to an extent but this just helped to clarify my own thoughts that Metallica is fucking awesome!!! i don't think they have one really bad song, they're the KING OF METAL! in my opinion :-)

    Welcome Home was the song that made me fall in love with metal. I still remember hearing it for the first time on my afternoon run. Holy shit that followed by Disposable Heroes, Leper Messiah, and Orion was like losing my virginity all over again.

    Honestly, I love the snare in St. Anger. Because it’s really unique and fans (including me) wouldn’t want their favorite band to end. People will have to start liking the snare like I did. After listening to it a lot, I love it now. Hard-wired... To Self Destruct is kick ass too. If you don’t like St. Anger, don’t listen to it.

    Metallica has great riffs that are possible to play on the guitar. Megadeth has amazing riffs, but they’re so difficult to play.

      Megadeth riffs are made harder than most Metallica riffs on purpose. Dave thinks that he gets appreciation when he just rushes and makes as hard riffs as he can.
      Metallica riffs are way better sounding (I still like Hangar 18, Tornado of Souls etc. don't get me wrong) and more better produced.
      Still both great bands in their own ways, I just sometimes think that only thing Dave Mustaine wants is to beat Metallica, not to make music he likes.

    Everything changed with the Black Album. It brought this genre of metal to the mainstream. For me, CD's with the accompanying Tab books accelerated my learning curve 1000% . To this day I still love a good metal riff. These days with RUclips, Truefire, Songster etc. learning your favourite guitar styles is pie in the sky as they say...
