BTW, Don't worry too much about dry steering, (particularly when a machine is doing it) our emergency stops etc, with pupils create far more stress on components.
Also good to see toyota moves forward to create a 45 degree angle for approach. Far too often I see learners struggling with 90 degrees turns unnecessarily. Another test myth sadly.
I don't really know how the technology works but I guess it needs to maximise the number of proximity sensors sensors it uses to triangulate effectively. More angle=more sensors=more accuracy?

I'm going to get my learners to play with it, to see if it helps with their learning. I can control it using the dual brake!
Its hit and miss. The parallell is good. I managed to get into a tight spot in Bushmills yesterday when showing off to the kids.
