I loved watching the Froome and Contador duels, they were up there with Pogacar and Vingegaard of their generation. His career was cut short by the crash in the criterium, but he's one of the greats of the sport, and his stage 19 stage victory in the Giro is arguably one of the best stage victories in the history of cycling. Fond memories.
Absolutely!!! I'll never forget his win on Le Monteux on a Bastille Day (2015?) , his crazy descents, etc. I was devastated to hear about his terrible crash.
The Time Trial that year massively favoured Wiggo over Froom so I’ve always thought he’d have still edged it that year even if Froom had been allowed to ride to his full potential but yes, it would’ve been a battle for the ages
What’s wild is that any cyclist who comes onto the scene and does incredible things will always be accused of doping. I don’t think that will ever change! Whether that’s right or wrong I don’t know but I’m not sure how you change that deep rooted doubt.
It was a form of doping he did, once he had to stop his meds for tge tropical decease he supposedly had which created more red blood cells meaning he was getting more oxygen delivered to his body and muscles, now he's just a commercial entity for isreal premier tech, they've got to het something back for their layout
Your form didn't stand the test of time, in fact it didn't last 6 years, once you had to stop the meds for tge tropical decease you suppose to have had(which created more red blood cells delivering more oxygen to your muscles)
@@JacobChristiansen1I’m not getting g into the argument as such, but if both had motors and Froome was a better rider he would still drop him, so your point makes no sense.
A legend 🏆 love you Froomey 🇬🇧🇰🇪
💪❤️
😂😂😂🍰🍰🍰🍫💉💉💉💉💉💉💊💊💊
Great video ...sure he can win a stage again... look at Cav so many people said he was finished...
Yes I hope so

He's really finished though. I have some hopes for Cav
Cav did 35 stage win an hour ago

we all know froomey could have won the 2012. but in cycling its important to follow team orders, ask greg lemond.
One of the all time greats

he looked so great on top of the piranies last year when he came third though this could be one of his last chances
It’s a shame Bradley won a tour he didn’t deserve over froome

Look at him Motor!
Like what you did there.
white guy born in kenya, grew up there and in south africa, races for a team with 'israel' in the title, lives in monaco
A good teamleader would let his teammates score too.

Jealously will get you nowhere.
Once the UCI policed motors, Froome went to poo... Not only did he abuse the TUE system but he was a motordoper...
Has this been proven?
what? how can y say that? ahah keep crying
so you think that Froome had one and Wiggins didn't when froome dropped Wiggins? Makes no sense

I never liked Chris, he gives an evil feeling
Most boring ever! so doped that guy was
Keep crying 😂
It's just a natural talent that worked very hard for it even in Kenia
😂If you can prove it, get the evidence out there. If you can't, shut the phuque up.
@@Mauro.09He literally failed a drug test in 2017… do you think that was the first time, or just the time he got caught?
So both top sky riders had asthma 😂
