Mercon "LV" = Mercon "55"; L = 50 in Roman numerals. Been looking for a lift system like this for when I'm ready to start working on my Mustang. This looks like a nice rig.

I thought about picking up a set of pinch weld pucks for my Fox if I ever needed to lift outside the subframe connector area. These will definitely help keep the floor space uncluttered when not in use. I plan to build a storage rack this year since I don't have the wall space to stand them up right now.

The air bleeds leaks out of the cylinders between uses on my Quickjacks and that is a pain because they will not lower all the way in a reasonable amount of time. So, I always check the air pressure before sliding them under the car.

Good tip. I'll watch for that when I use them regularly.

You are lifting the corvette the wrong way. The steel frames go along side the car front to back placing lift pucks on the jack points of car

You can actually do both ways. This was a test to see if it could be done safely in case I need it.
