  • In this video we go head to head comparing a top of the range £10,000 3D Scanner against the small but powerful £420 Creality Ferret Pro.
It's not every day an average bike builder gets hands on with two scanners and tests them to see how different they really are.

Pretty amazing for the price point and for entry level scanning. Thanks for sharing.

    Great video congratulations!
I'm from Brazil and I really liked the video. I would like to know if I will get a great result on shoes, as I am a 3D shoe designer and I am looking to buy a scanner and this cr-scan from Creality is a more affordable price for me today. Will I be able to remodel using this scanner?

Hello! Just a question: i saw the limit of Ferret Pro was 2m long object ?? Did you made something special to scan your Triumph (That is something as 2,2m long) ?? Thank you for the tip ;-). I want to buy that also to scan motorbikes ;-)

    after watching many review
theres no scanner exist that could capture a large object like the motocycle, and include small details like a 1/4 in tall letters written
so possible need a larger scanner and a smaller for details and details can be merged in the model later

Hello, could you tell me if lidar on an iPhone scans well or if Creality is better!? and it’s worth looking into Mogel Creality!?

The Lidar works okay as i have also used this method. It doesn’t seem to gather much detail compared to the creality

thank you very much maybe one more question, what do you think for car scanning, is creality ferret suitable or is it better to choose shining ainstar? Or are they rooted in the same segment?
