Video style/editing inspired by one of my favorite Channels "Human". A glimpse into a build working solo on a larger project, try not to hurt yourself its heavy!

    That's a great mix playing in the background. I just got 2 of the 6 foot tall cabinets so I can lock up chemicals, paint and such.
    Great video.

      Thanks man, it’s my remember being young playlist 😂..time flies when you’re having fun. I like those 6’ cabinet a LOT too, I really wanted some but until I build my metal shop I just don’t have room, I will be picking up some eventually to use for the same purpose you are. I did get a pair of the smaller ones like this though to use as part of an outdoor kitchen on the back patio I’m having built. These really are a good deal for the price in my opinion and are very versatile little storage units. Appreciate ya watching and commenting brother, this was still in my learning to film a video worth watching on RUclips and I don’t think I explained enough or talked enough 😂 so I’m glad ya made it through.

      Thanks Zane, I tried a little different editing/video style like a channel I really enjoy "Human". We seem to follow the same interests on RUclips you probably already sub to him, if not its worth a watch. The breaking Benjamin is on my "I'm getting old" mix 🤣, I just can't get into much new music so I stick to my heyday jams from 90s to mid 2000s lol.

      Ive been extremely happy with mine going on a little over a year. Its been perfect to work on and is super solid. Ive put some scuffs in it while fixing a blown head gasket and rebuilding a go-kart but i love this workbench! Appreciate ya watching the video ( i know it wasn't easy lol), it came in my learning what exactly to put in a video phase. I should have shown a little more of the build and talked more, i guess i was going for a vlog type thing but whatever it worked in the end. Its got some VERY frustrating elements to put together but worth it in the end.

    That thing is massive man, and the price is pretty good compared to all the husky and craftsman brand tables they got at Home Depot. Is the wood table sturdy enough to mount a vise to it?

    • @3rdcoastobs467
      @3rdcoastobs467  4 года назад +3

      It really seems sturdy, it said 2 man lift and assembly lol. That wood top is 1-1/2" thick and weighed about a ton. The casters are sturdy and 2 of them lock. I think a vice would be safe on it for sure. I have a spare one I was actually thinking about mounting to it myself. Thanks for watching cody!

    I know it's been awhile, but I'm putting my together. the drawers are giving a fitz with falling onto those side square mounts. did you have to force them onto the rails? thanks
    I figured it out, there was a sticker on the rail read to remove the rubber protector. thanks anyway.

    • @3rdcoastobs467
      @3rdcoastobs467  2 года назад +1

      If you put nose to grindstone probably an hour and a half. The drawers take a while to bend and screw together and that one screw kicked my butt!

    • @3rdcoastobs467
      @3rdcoastobs467  3 года назад

      If I just sat and did it in one day without distraction I'd say about an hour to hour and a half. The drawers take the longest because you have to bend them and put the fronts on...plus unboxing takes a bit to separate out.

    Hello,. Hey so how is the Work table holding up so far??.
    Should I go with one of them, or with one of the harbor freight??..

    • @3rdcoastobs467
      @3rdcoastobs467  3 года назад

      The table is still awesome! No complaints whatsoever after roughly 10 months of use. Its held up well, drawers still in great condition and still more storage for tools than I know what to do with. I love it.Which HF one are ya looking at? The general tool box? I like those a lot but I wanted the table top work bench as well. From what I've read and seen you can't go wrong with either choice. Just the Sam's one you'll have to build but get way more worktop space and about the same tool storage vs a turn key HF box for roughly $100 more. It all Depends on what your needs are and the space you have in your shop or garage.
